22¶ Therefore, O Aholibah, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will raise up thy lovers against thee, from whom thy mind is alienated, and I will bring them against thee on every side; 23The Babylonians, and all the Chaldeans, Pekod, and Shoa, and Koa, and all the Assyrians with them: all of them desirable young men, captains and rulers, great lords and renowned, all of them riding upon horses. 24And they shall come against thee with chariots, wagons, and wheels, and with an assembly of people, which shall set against thee buckler and shield and helmet round about: and I will set judgment before them, and they shall judge thee according to their judgments. 25And I will set my jealousy against thee, and they shall deal furiously with thee: they shall take away thy nose and thine ears; and thy remnant shall fall by the sword: they shall take thy sons and thy daughters; and thy residue shall be devoured by the fire. 26They shall also strip thee out of thy clothes, and take away thy fair jewels.23.26 fair…: Heb. instruments of thy decking 27Thus will I make thy lewdness to cease from thee, and thy whoredom brought from the land of Egypt: so that thou shalt not lift up thine eyes unto them, nor remember Egypt any more. 28For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will deliver thee into the hand of them whom thou hatest, into the hand of them from whom thy mind is alienated: 29And they shall deal with thee hatefully, and shall take away all thy labour, and shall leave thee naked and bare: and the nakedness of thy whoredoms shall be discovered, both thy lewdness and thy whoredoms. 30I will do these things unto thee, because thou hast gone a whoring after the heathen, and because thou art polluted with their idols. 31Thou hast walked in the way of thy sister; therefore will I give her cup into thine hand. 32Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou shalt drink of thy sister’s cup deep and large: thou shalt be laughed to scorn and had in derision; it containeth much. 33Thou shalt be filled with drunkenness and sorrow, with the cup of astonishment and desolation, with the cup of thy sister Samaria. 34Thou shalt even drink it and suck it out, and thou shalt break the sherds thereof, and pluck off thine own breasts: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD. 35Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast forgotten me, and cast me behind thy back, therefore bear thou also thy lewdness and thy whoredoms.
36¶ The LORD said moreover unto me; Son of man, wilt thou judge Aholah and Aholibah? yea, declare unto them their abominations;23.36 judge: or, plead for 37That they have committed adultery, and blood is in their hands, and with their idols have they committed adultery, and have also caused their sons, whom they bare unto me, to pass for them through the fire, to devour them. 38Moreover this they have done unto me: they have defiled my sanctuary in the same day, and have profaned my sabbaths. 39For when they had slain their children to their idols, then they came the same day into my sanctuary to profane it; and, lo, thus have they done in the midst of mine house. 40And furthermore, that ye have sent for men to come from far, unto whom a messenger was sent; and, lo, they came: for whom thou didst wash thyself, paintedst thy eyes, and deckedst thyself with ornaments,23.40 to come: Heb. coming 41And satest upon a stately bed, and a table prepared before it, whereupon thou hast set mine incense and mine oil.23.41 stately: Heb. honourable 42And a voice of a multitude being at ease was with her: and with the men of the common sort were brought Sabeans from the wilderness, which put bracelets upon their hands, and beautiful crowns upon their heads.23.42 of the…: Heb. of the multitude of men23.42 Sabeans: or, drunkards 43Then said I unto her that was old in adulteries, Will they now commit whoredoms with her, and she with them?23.43 whoredoms…: Heb. her whoredoms 44Yet they went in unto her, as they go in unto a woman that playeth the harlot: so went they in unto Aholah and unto Aholibah, the lewd women.

دو خواهر زناكار
1بار ديگر خداوند با من سخن گفت و فرمود:
2-3«ای انسان خاكی، دو خواهر بودند كه در جوانی در مصر به زناكاری و روسپیگری كشانده شدند.23:2و3 آنچه که در اين باب به صورت تمثيل بازگو شده، به وقايع مختلف تاريخ بنیاسرائيل و گناهان ايشان اشاره دارد. 4نام خواهر بزرگتر، اهوله، و نام خواهر كوچكتر اهوليبه بود. اين دو خواهر، يكی سامره است و ديگری اورشليم! من با آن دو ازدواج كردم و آنها برايم پسران و دختران زاييدند. 5ولی بعد، اهوله از من روگرداند و به بتها دل بست و عاشق و دلباخته همسايهاش، قوم آشور شد، 6چون آنها جوانانی جذاب و خوشاندام، فرماندهان و سردارانی با لباسهای آبی خوشرنگ و سواركارانی ماهر بودند. 7پس، او با آنها كه برگزيدهترين مردان آشور بودند زنا كرد، بتهايشان را پرستيد و خود را نجس ساخت. 8علتش اين بود كه وقتی مصر را ترک گفت، از فاحشگی دست نكشيد، بلكه همچون دوران جوانیاش كه با مصریها همخواب میشد و زنا میكرد، به هرزگی خود ادامه داد.
9«پس، من او را به دست آشوریها تسليم نمودم، به دست كسانی كه خدايانشان را اينقدر دوست میداشت! 10ايشان رختهای او را كندند و او را كشتند و بچههايش را برای بردگی با خود بردند. زنان ديگر از سرنوشت او درس عبرت گرفتند و دانستند كه او به سزای اعمالش رسيده است.
11«اهوليبه، يعنی اورشليم، با اينكه ديد بر سر خواهرش چه آمد، اما در هوسرانی و زناكاری از او هم فاسدتر شد. 12او به همسايه خود قوم آشور، دل بست كه مردانی جذاب، خوشاندام و سرداران و سواركارانی با لباسهای آبی خوشرنگ بودند. 13ديدم كه او نيز آلوده شد و به راه خواهر بزرگترش رفت.
14-15«او روزبهروز بيشتر در عمق فساد غرق میشد. او مجذوب تصاويری گرديد كه بر ديوار نقش شده بود، تصاوير سرداران بابلی با لباسهای قرمز، كمربندهای زيبا و كلاههای رنگارنگ! 16وقتی اين تصاوير را ديد، شعله عشق بابلیها در دلش زبانه كشيد. پس قاصدانی فرستاد و ايشان را نزد خود دعوت كرد. 17آنها نيز آمده، با او زنا كردند و آنقدر او را بیعصمت و نجس ساختند كه سرانجام از ايشان متنفر شد و با ايشان قطع رابطه نمود.
18«من هم وقتی ديدم كه اينچنين خود را در اختيار ديگران میگذارد تا با او زنا كنند، از او بيزار شدم، همانگونه كه از خواهرش بيزار شده بودم. 19-20اما او دوران جوانی و زناكاریهای خود را در مصر به یاد آورد و به فساد و هوسرانی خود افزود و با مردان شهوتران به فسق و فجور پرداخت. 21بلی، او با حسرت، به فساد و هرزگی خود در مصر میانديشيد، به دورانی كه بكارت خود را در اختيار مصریها گذاشت!
22«حال، ای اهوليبه، خداوند چنين میفرمايد:
«اينک من همان قومهایی را كه عاشقشان بودی و الان از ايشان متنفر شدهای، تحريک خواهم كرد كه از هر سو عليه تو گرد آيند. 23بلی، بابلیان و تمام كلدانیان از فقود، شوع و قوع، و به همراه ايشان همهٔ آشوریها كه جوانانی خوب چهره و والامقام و چابک سوارند، خواهند آمد. 24ايشان از شمال با سپاهی آماده، همراه با كالسكهها و عرابهها به جنگ تو خواهند آمد. مردانی كه تا دندان مسلح میباشند، از هر سو تو را محاصره خواهند كرد و من تو را به ايشان تسليم خواهم نمود تا مطابق راه و رسم خودشان، تو را مجازات نمايند. 25آتش خشم من بر تو شعلهور خواهد شد و خواهم گذاشت كه با غضب با تو رفتار كنند. آنان بينی و گوشهايت را خواهند بريد، بازماندگانت را خواهند كشت و فرزندانت را به اسارت خواهند برد؛ و هر چه باقی بماند، خواهند سوزاند؛ 26ايشان رختهايت را خواهند كند و جواهرات زيبايت را به يغما خواهند برد.
27«آنگاه به هرزگی و زناكاریات كه از مصر به ارمغان آوردهای، پايان خواهم داد تا ديگر مشتاق مصر و خدايانش نباشی. 28زيرا من تو را در چنگ دشمنانت رها خواهم نمود، يعنی در چنگ همان كسانی كه از ايشان بيزار و متنفر هستی. 29آنان با نفرت و كينه، هر چه كه داری به زور گرفته، لخت و عريان رهايت خواهند كرد تا رسوايی و زناكاریات بر همه آشكار شود.
30«تمام اين بلاها به اين علت بر سرت میآيد كه خدايان قومهای ديگر را پرستش نمودی و با اين كار، خود را نجس و ناپاک ساختی؛ 31تو راه خواهرت را در پيش گرفتی، بنابراين، من از جام او به تو نيز خواهم نوشانيد؛ 32بلی، از جام بزرگ و عميق مجازات خواهرت، تو نيز خواهی نوشيد و مورد تمسخر و استهزای همه قرار خواهی گرفت، 33-34و همچون مستان، پریشانحال خواهی شد. از جام وحشت و ويرانی مانند خواهرت سامره خواهی نوشيد و آن را تا آخرين قطره خواهی آشاميد. 35از آنجا كه مرا فراموش كردی و از من روگردان شدی، سزای زناكاريها و گناهانت را خواهی ديد!
36«ای انسان خاكی، اهوله و اهوليبه را محكوم كن! گناهان كثيفشان را اعلام نما! 37ايشان مرتكب زنا و قتل شدند، بتپرستی كردند، و پسرانی را كه برای من زاييده بودند بر قربانگاههای خود قربانی كرده، سوزاندند. 38علاوه بر اين كارها، در همان روز، خانهٔ مرا نجس كردند و روز سبت را بیحرمت ساختند. 39بلی، در همان روزی كه فرزندان خود را برای بتهايشان قربانی كردند، برای عبادت به خانه من آمدند، و با اين كار به خانه من بیاحترامی و توهين كردند!
40«اين دو خواهر قاصدانی نيز به سرزمینهای دور دست فرستادند تا مردان آنجا را فرا خوانند، يعنی كاهنان و بتهايشان را. هنگامی كه آمدند، با استقبال گرم آن دو روبرو شدند. آن دو خواهر، همچون روسپيان، استحمام كردند، به چشمانشان سرمه كشيدند، و خود را به بهترين زيورآلات آراستند. 41آنگاه با هم روی رختخواب زيبای قلابدوزی نشستند و بخور و روغنی را كه از آنِ خانه من بود، بر سفرهای در مقابل خود گذاردند. 42از آنجا صدای مردان عياش شنيده میشد، مردانی هرزه، ميگسار و بيابانگرد؛ آنها النگو به دست ايشان كردند و تاج زيبا بر سرشان گذاردند. 43با خود گفتم كه آيا ايشان رغبت میكنند با اين فاحشههای زشت و فرتوت زنا كنند؟ 44با اين حال، ايشان با همان ميل و رغبت مردان شهوترانی كه پيش فاحشهها میروند، نزد سامره و اورشليم، اين روسپیهای بیحيا رفتند! 45بنابراين، اشخاص درستكار، آن دو را محكوم خواهند كرد، زيرا زناكارند و دستشان به خون آلوده است.
46«از این رو، من جماعت بزرگی را عليه ايشان خواهم فرستاد تا ايشان را پريشان ساخته، تاراج نمايند. 47آن جماعت آنان را سنگسار كرده، با شمشير خواهند دريد؛ پسران و دختران ايشان را خواهند كشت و خانههايشان را خواهند سوزاند. 48آنگاه در اين سرزمين، به هرزگی و زناكاری پايان خواهم داد، تا اين درس عبرتی گردد برای آنانی كه بتپرستی را دوست میدارند. 49آن دو خواهر به سزای تمام زناكاریها و بتپرستیهايشان خواهند رسيد. آنگاه خواهند دانست كه من خداوند میباشم!»
