Exodus 37:1-29

1And Bezaleel made the ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half was the length of it, and a cubit and a half the breadth of it, and a cubit and a half the height of it: 2And he overlaid it with pure gold within and without, and made a crown of gold to it round about. 3And he cast for it four rings of gold, to be set by the four corners of it; even two rings upon the one side of it, and two rings upon the other side of it. 4And he made staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold. 5And he put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, to bear the ark.

6¶ And he made the mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half was the length thereof, and one cubit and a half the breadth thereof. 7And he made two cherubims of gold, beaten out of one piece made he them, on the two ends of the mercy seat;37.7 on…: or, out of, etc 8One cherub on the end on this side, and another cherub on the other end on that side: out of the mercy seat made he the cherubims on the two ends thereof.37.8 on the end: or, out of, etc37.8 on the other end: or, out of, etc 9And the cherubims spread out their wings on high, and covered with their wings over the mercy seat, with their faces one to another; even to the mercy seatward were the faces of the cherubims.

10¶ And he made the table of shittim wood: two cubits was the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof: 11And he overlaid it with pure gold, and made thereunto a crown of gold round about. 12Also he made thereunto a border of an handbreadth round about; and made a crown of gold for the border thereof round about. 13And he cast for it four rings of gold, and put the rings upon the four corners that were in the four feet thereof. 14Over against the border were the rings, the places for the staves to bear the table. 15And he made the staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold, to bear the table. 16And he made the vessels which were upon the table, his dishes, and his spoons, and his bowls, and his covers to cover withal, of pure gold.37.16 to cover…: or, to pour out withal

17¶ And he made the candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work made he the candlestick; his shaft, and his branch, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, were of the same: 18And six branches going out of the sides thereof; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side thereof, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side thereof: 19Three bowls made after the fashion of almonds in one branch, a knop and a flower; and three bowls made like almonds in another branch, a knop and a flower: so throughout the six branches going out of the candlestick. 20And in the candlestick were four bowls made like almonds, his knops, and his flowers: 21And a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, according to the six branches going out of it. 22Their knops and their branches were of the same: all of it was one beaten work of pure gold. 23And he made his seven lamps, and his snuffers, and his snuffdishes, of pure gold. 24Of a talent of pure gold made he it, and all the vessels thereof.

25¶ And he made the incense altar of shittim wood: the length of it was a cubit, and the breadth of it a cubit; it was foursquare; and two cubits was the height of it; the horns thereof were of the same. 26And he overlaid it with pure gold, both the top of it, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns of it: also he made unto it a crown of gold round about. 27And he made two rings of gold for it under the crown thereof, by the two corners of it, upon the two sides thereof, to be places for the staves to bear it withal. 28And he made the staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold.

29¶ And he made the holy anointing oil, and the pure incense of sweet spices, according to the work of the apothecary.

A Arca da Aliança

1Bezalel fez a arca com madeira de acácia, com um metro e dez centímetros de comprimento, setenta centímetros de largura e setenta centímetros de altura37.1 Hebraico: 2,5 côvados de comprimento e 1,5 côvados de largura e de altura. O côvado era uma medida linear de cerca de 45 centímetros.. 2Revestiu-a de ouro puro, por dentro e por fora, e fez uma moldura de ouro ao seu redor. 3Fundiu quatro argolas de ouro para ela, prendendo-as a seus quatro pés, com duas argolas de um lado e duas do outro. 4Depois fez varas de madeira de acácia, revestiu-as de ouro 5e colocou-as nas argolas laterais da arca para que pudesse ser carregada.

6Fez a tampa de ouro puro com um metro e dez centímetros de comprimento por setenta centímetros de largura. 7Fez também dois querubins de ouro batido nas extremidades da tampa. 8Fez ainda um querubim numa extremidade e o segundo na outra, formando uma só peça com a tampa. 9Os querubins tinham as asas estendidas para cima, cobrindo com elas a tampa. Estavam de frente um para o outro, com o rosto voltado para a tampa.

A Mesa e seus Utensílios

10Fez a mesa com madeira de acácia com noventa centímetros de comprimento, quarenta e cinco centímetros de largura e setenta centímetros de altura. 11Revestiu-a de ouro puro e fez uma moldura de ouro ao seu redor. 12Fez também ao seu redor uma borda com a largura de quatro dedos e uma moldura de ouro para essa borda. 13Fundiu quatro argolas de ouro para a mesa e prendeu-as nos quatro cantos, onde estavam os seus quatro pés. 14As argolas foram presas próximas da borda, para que sustentassem as varas usadas para carregar a mesa. 15Fez as varas para carregar a mesa de madeira de acácia, revestidas de ouro. 16E de ouro puro fez os utensílios para a mesa: seus pratos e recipientes para incenso, as tigelas e as bacias nas quais se derramam as ofertas de bebidas37.16 Veja Nm 28.7..

O Candelabro de Ouro

17Fez o candelabro de ouro puro e batido. O pedestal, a haste, as taças, as flores e os botões formavam com ele uma só peça. 18Seis braços saíam do candelabro: três de um lado e três do outro. 19Havia três taças com formato de flor de amêndoa, num dos braços, cada uma com botão e flor, e três taças com formato de flor de amêndoa no braço seguinte, cada uma com botão e flor. Assim era com os seis braços que saem do candelabro. 20Na haste do candelabro havia quatro taças com formato de flor de amêndoa, cada uma com flor e botão. 21Havia um botão debaixo de cada par dos seis braços que saíam do candelabro. 22Os braços com seus botões formavam uma só peça com o candelabro; tudo feito de ouro puro e batido.

23Fez de ouro puro suas sete lâmpadas, seus cortadores de pavio e seus apagadores. 24Com trinta e cinco quilos37.24 Hebraico: 1 talento. de ouro puro fez o candelabro com seus botões e todos esses utensílios.

O Altar do Incenso

25Fez ainda o altar do incenso de madeira de acácia. Era quadrado, com quarenta e cinco centímetros de cada lado e noventa centímetros de altura; suas pontas formavam com ele uma só peça. 26Revestiu de ouro puro a parte superior, todos os lados e as pontas, e fez uma moldura de ouro ao seu redor. 27Fez também duas argolas de ouro de cada lado do altar, abaixo da moldura, para sustentar as varas utilizadas para carregá-lo, 28e usou madeira de acácia para fazer as varas e revestiu-as de ouro.

29Fez ainda o óleo sagrado para as unções e o incenso puro e aromático—obra de perfumista.
