3¶ Neither shalt thou countenance a poor man in his cause.
4¶ If thou meet thine enemy’s ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again. 5If thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, and wouldest forbear to help him, thou shalt surely help with him.23.5 and…: or, wilt thou cease to help him? or, and wouldest cease to leave thy business for him: thou shalt surely leave it to join with him 6Thou shalt not wrest the judgment of thy poor in his cause. 7Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.

9¶ Also thou shalt not oppress a stranger: for ye know the heart of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.23.9 heart: Heb. soul
10And six years thou shalt sow thy land, and shalt gather in the fruits thereof: 11But the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie still; that the poor of thy people may eat: and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy oliveyard.23.11 oliveyard: or, olive trees 12Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest: that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed. 13And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.
14¶ Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year. 15Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:) 16And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field. 17Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord GOD. 18Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the fat of my sacrifice remain until the morning.23.18 sacrifice: or, feast 19The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the LORD thy God. 20¶ Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. 21Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him. 22But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.23.22 an adversary…: or, I will afflict them that afflict thee 23For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off. 24Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images. 25And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
26¶ There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil. 27I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee.23.27 backs: Heb. neck 28And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee. 29I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against thee. 30By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land. 31And I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee. 32Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods. 33They shall not dwell in thy land, lest they make thee sin against me: for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto thee.

1«هەواڵی درۆ بڵاو مەکەرەوە، دەست لەگەڵ بەدکار تێکەڵ مەکە بۆ ئەوەی ببیتە شایەتی زۆرداری.
2«دوای کۆمەڵ مەکەوە بۆ کاری خراپ و لە سکاڵاکردندا بە خواری شایەتی مەدە. 3لایەنگری بۆ هەژار دەرمەخە لە سکاڵاکەی.
4«ئەگەر تووشی گا یان گوێدرێژی دوژمنەکەت بووی کە بەڕەڵا بووبێت، بۆی بگەڕێنەرەوە. 5ئەگەر گوێدرێژی ناحەزەکەتت بینی لەژێر بارەکەیدا کەوتووە، بەجێی مەهێڵە، بەڵکو پەلە بکە بۆ یارمەتیدانی.
6«مافی هەژار ڕەت مەکەرەوە لە سکاڵاکەی. 7لە قسەی درۆ دوور بکەوە. بێتاوان و ڕاستودروست مەکوژە، چونکە تاوانبار بێتاوان ناکەم.
8«بەرتیل وەرمەگرە، چونکە بەرتیل چاوساغان کوێر دەکات و قسەی ڕاستودروستان خوار دەکات.
9«نامۆ مەچەوسێنەوە، ئێوە خۆتان دەزانن نامۆ چۆن هەست دەکات، چونکە خۆشتان لە خاکی میسر نامۆ بوون.

10«شەش ساڵ زەوییەکەت دەچێنیت و بەرەکەی هەڵدەگریتەوە، 11بەڵام لە حەوتەمیندا دەیحەسێنیتەوە و لێی دەگەڕێیت، هەژارانی گەلەکەت لێی دەخۆن و بەرماوەکەشیان ئاژەڵی کێوی دەیخوات. هەمان شت دەکەیت لە ڕەزە مێوەکەت و لە زەیتوونەکەت.
12«شەش ڕۆژ کارەکەت دەکەیت، بەڵام ڕۆژی حەوتەم پشوو دەدەیت بۆ ئەوەی گا و گوێدرێژەکەشت بحەسێنەوە و کوڕی کارەکەرەکەت و ئەوەی لەلاشت نامۆیە هەناسەیەک بدەن.
13«ئاگاداربن لەوەی ڕێک ئەوە بکەن کە پێم فەرموون و ناوی خودایەکی دیکە مەهێنن، لە دەمتانەوە نەبیسترێت.
سێ جەژنی ساڵانە
14«سێ جار لە ساڵێکدا جەژنم بۆ دەگێڕیت.
15«هەروەک فەرمانم پێکردن جەژنی فەتیرە بگێڕن، حەوت ڕۆژ نانی فەتیرە بخۆن. ئەم جەژنە لە کاتی خۆیدا بگێڕن، لە مانگی ئاڤیڤ، چونکە ئێوە لەو مانگەدا لە میسر هاتنە دەرەوە.
«نابێت بە دەستبەتاڵی لەبەردەمم ئامادە بن.
16«هەروەها جەژنی دروێنە، یەکەمین بەرهەمی ڕەنجتان، ئەوەی لە کێڵگە دەیچێنن.
«هەروەها جەژنی کۆکردنەوە لە کۆتایی ساڵدا کاتێک ڕەنجەکەتان لە کێڵگە کۆدەکەنەوە.
17«سێ جار لە ساڵێکدا هەموو نێرینەکانتان لەبەردەم یەزدانی باڵادەست ئامادە دەبن.
18«خوێنی قوربانیم لەگەڵ شتی بە هەویرترش پێشکەش مەکەن.
«پیوی23:18 پیوی قوربانی یان بەزی قوربانی. قوربانی جەژنم هەتا بەیانی نەمێنێتەوە.
19«باشترینی یەکەمین بەرهەمی زەوییەکەتان بۆ ماڵی یەزدانی پەروەردگارتان بهێنن.
«هیچ کاریلەیەک بە شیری دایکی لێمەنێن.
ئامادەکردنی ڕێگاکە لەلایەن فریشتەی خودا
20«ببینن، من فریشتەیەک لەپێشتانەوە دەنێرم بۆ ئەوەی لە ڕێگا بتانپارێزێت و بتانهێنێتە ئەو شوێنەی ئامادەم کردووە. 21لێی ئاگاداربن و گوێ لە فەرمایشتی بگرن و تووڕەی مەکەن، چونکە لە یاخیبوونتان نابوورێت، لەبەر ئەوەی ناوی منی تێدایە. 22بەڵام ئەگەر گوێتان لە فەرمایشتی گرت و هەموو ئەوانەی دەیڵێم جێبەجێی بکەن، ئەوا دژایەتی دوژمنەکانتان دەکەم و تەنگ هەڵدەچنم بە تەنگ پێهەڵچنانتان. 23فریشتەکەم لەپێشتانەوە دەڕوات و دەتانباتە خاکی ئەمۆری و حیتی و پریزی و کەنعانی و حیڤی و یەبوسییەکان، ئەوان لەناودەبەم. 24کڕنۆش بۆ خوداوەندەکانیان مەبەن و مەیانپەرستن و وەک نەریتەکانی ئەوان مەکەن، بەڵکو بە تەواوی وردوخاشیان بکەن و بەردە تەرخانکراوەکانیان23:24 بەردی بە ستوونی دانراو بۆ پەرستن. بڕوانە دواوتار 16:21-22. بە تەواوی بشکێنن. 25یەزدانی پەروەردگارتان دەپەرستن، ئەویش نان و ئاوتان بەرەکەتدار دەکات. دەرد لەنێوتان ناهێڵم. 26لەبارچوو و نەزۆک لە خاکەکەتان نابێت، هەروەها تەمەنتان درێژ دەکەم.
27«سامناکی خۆم لەپێشتانەوە دەنێرم و هەموو ئەو نەتەوانەی دەچنە سەریان، سەریان لێ دەشێوێنم و وا دەکەم هەموو دوژمنەکانتان هەڵبێن. 28زەردەواڵەش23:28 دەکرێت هێمایەک بێت بۆ ئەو ترس و لەرزەی خودا دەیخاتە دڵیانەوە. بڕوانە یەشوع 24:12. لەپێشتانەوە دەنێرم و حیڤی و کەنعانی و حیتییەکان لەپێشتان ڕابماڵن. 29بەڵام لە ماوەی یەک ساڵ لەپێشتان ڕایانناماڵم، نەوەک خاکەکە وێران بێت و ئاژەڵی کێوی لەسەرتان زیاد بکات. 30هێواش هێواش لەپێشتان ڕایاندەماڵم، هەتا ئەوەی بەردار دەبن و دەست بەسەر خاکەکەدا دەگرن.
31«سنوورەکەشتان دادەنێم، لە دەریای سوورەوە هەتا دەریای سپی ناوەڕاست23:31 دەریای سپی ناوەڕاست: عیبری (دەریای فەلەستییەکان). و لە چۆڵەوانییەوە هەتا ڕووباری فورات، چونکە دانیشتووانی خاکەکە دەدەمە دەستتان و ئێوەش لەپێش خۆتان ڕایاندەماڵن. 32نە لەگەڵ ئەوان نە لەگەڵ خوداوەندەکانیان پەیمان مەبەستن. 33با لە خاکەکەتاندا نیشتەجێ نەبن، نەوەک واتان لێ بکەن گوناه سەبارەت بە من بکەن، چونکە ئەگەر خوداوەندی ئەوان بپەرستن ئەوا دەبێتە تەڵە بۆتان.»
