3¶ Neither shalt thou countenance a poor man in his cause.
4¶ If thou meet thine enemy’s ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again. 5If thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, and wouldest forbear to help him, thou shalt surely help with him.23.5 and…: or, wilt thou cease to help him? or, and wouldest cease to leave thy business for him: thou shalt surely leave it to join with him 6Thou shalt not wrest the judgment of thy poor in his cause. 7Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.

10And six years thou shalt sow thy land, and shalt gather in the fruits thereof: 11But the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie still; that the poor of thy people may eat: and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. 14¶ Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year. 15Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:) 16And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field. 17Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord GOD. 18Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the fat of my sacrifice remain until the morning.23.18 sacrifice: or, feast 19The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the LORD thy God. 20¶ Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. 21Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him. 22But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.23.22 an adversary…: or, I will afflict them that afflict thee 23For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off. 24Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images. 25And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
26¶ There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil. 27I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee.23.27 backs: Heb. neck 28And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee. 29I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against thee. 30By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land. 31And I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee. 32Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods. 33They shall not dwell in thy land, lest they make thee sin against me: for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto thee.

4Если увидите, что вол или осёл вашего врага заблудились, то непременно верните их ему. 5Если увидите, что осёл того, кто ненавидит вас, упал под ношей, не оставляйте его так – непременно помогите ему.
6Не лишайте бедняков правосудия. 7Не обвиняйте ложно; не казните невиновного и честного: Я не прощу такого злодеяния.
8Не берите взяток: они ослепляют зрячих и губят невиновных.
9Не угнетайте поселенцев. Вы знаете, каково им, потому что сами были поселенцами в Египте.
Субботний год и субботний день
10– Шесть лет засевайте поля и собирайте урожай, 11а на седьмой год пусть земля отдыхает под паром. Тогда бедняки из народа смогут кормиться от неё, а звери – доедать после них остатки. Так же поступайте с виноградниками и масличными рощами.
12Шесть дней трудитесь, но в седьмой день не работайте, чтобы ваши вол и осёл отдохнули, а раб, рождённый у вас в доме, и поселенец набрались сил.
13Будьте внимательны ко всему, что Я вам сказал. Не призывайте других богов. Пусть ваши уста даже не произносят их имён.
Три ежегодных праздника
14– Три раза в год устраивайте Мне праздник.
15Справляйте праздник Пресных хлебов. Семь дней ешьте хлеб, приготовленный без закваски, как Я повелел вам. Делайте так в установленное время месяца авива (ранней весной), потому что в это время вы вышли из Египта.
Пусть никто не приходит поклоняться Мне с пустыми руками.
16Справляйте праздник Жатвы, когда собираете первые плоды посеянного вами в поле.
Справляйте и праздник Сбора плодов23:16 Позже этот праздник стали называть праздником Шалашей (см. Лев. 23:39-43). в конце года (осенью), когда убираете с поля весь урожай.
17Три раза в год все мужчины должны приходить поклоняться Владыке Вечному.
18Не приносите Мне жертвенной крови вместе с чем-либо, приготовленным на закваске.
Жир от праздничных приношений нельзя хранить до утра.
19Лучшее из первых плодов земли приносите в дом Вечного, вашего Бога.
Не варите козлёнка в молоке его матери.
Ангел, посланный приготовить путь
20– Я посылаю перед вами Ангела, чтобы защищать вас в пути и привести на место, которое Я для вас приготовил. 21Будьте внимательны к Нему и слушайтесь Его. Не восставайте против Него; Он не простит вам отступничества, потому что в Нём Моё имя. 22Если вы будете слушаться Его, если будете исполнять всё, что Я говорю, Я буду врагом вашим врагам и противником вашим противникам. 23Мой Ангел пойдёт перед вами и приведёт вас в землю аморреев, хеттов, перизеев, ханонеев, хивеев и иевусеев, и Я погублю их. 24Не поклоняйтесь их богам, не служите им и не подражайте их обычаям. Сокрушите их и разбейте на куски их священные камни. 25Служите Вечному, вашему Богу, и Его благословение будет на вашей пище и воде. Я избавлю вас от болезней, 26и в вашей земле не будет выкидышей и бесплодия. Я сделаю полным число дней вашей жизни.
27Я повергну в смятение любой народ, против которого вы пойдёте, и наведу на него страх. Я обращу в бегство ваших врагов. 28Я пошлю перед вами шершней23:28 Или: «страх». на хивеев, ханонеев и хеттов, чтобы прогнать их с вашей дороги. 29Но Я не прогоню их в один год – ведь тогда земля опустеет, а диких зверей станет слишком много. 30Я буду прогонять их от вас постепенно, пока вас не станет достаточно, чтобы завладеть этой землёй.
31Я проведу ваши границы от Тростникового моря до Средиземного и от Сирийской пустыни до Евфрата23:31 Букв.: «от Тростникового моря до Филистимского моря и от пустыни до реки».. Я отдам вам во власть жителей этой земли, и вы прогоните их от себя. 32Не вступайте в союз ни с ними, ни с их богами. 33Не давайте им жить на вашей земле, иначе они введут вас в грех против Меня – служение их богам непременно станет для вас западнёй.
