20¶ And Mordecai wrote these things, and sent letters unto all the Jews that were in all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus, both nigh and far, 21To stablish this among them, that they should keep the fourteenth day of the month Adar, and the fifteenth day of the same, yearly, 22As the days wherein the Jews rested from their enemies, and the month which was turned unto them from sorrow to joy, and from mourning into a good day: that they should make them days of feasting and joy, and of sending portions one to another, and gifts to the poor. 23And the Jews undertook to do as they had begun, and as Mordecai had written unto them; 24Because Haman the son of Hammedatha, the Agagite, the enemy of all the Jews, had devised against the Jews to destroy them, and had cast Pur, that is, the lot, to consume them, and to destroy them;9.24 consume: Heb. crush 25But when Esther came before the king, he commanded by letters that his wicked device, which he devised against the Jews, should return upon his own head, and that he and his sons should be hanged on the gallows.9.25 when…: Heb. when she came 26Wherefore they called these days Purim after the name of Pur. 5Gani ginpamatay sang mga Judio ang tanan nila nga kaaway paagi sa espada. Ginhimo nila ang ila gusto sa sining mga nagakontra sa ila. 6Sa siyudad lang sang Susa, 500 ang ila napatay. 7Ginpatay man nila sila ni Parshandata, Dalfon, Aspata, 8Porata, Adalia, Aridata, 9Parmashta, Arisai, Aridai, kag Vayzata. 10Sila amo ang napulo ka anak ni Haman nga kaaway sang mga Judio, nga anak ni Hamedata. 11Sadto man nga adlaw, ginsugid sa hari ang kadamuon sang ginpamatay sa siyudad sang Susa. 12Kag nagsiling ang hari kay Rayna Ester, “Sa Susa lang, 500 ang napatay sang mga Judio, kag ginpamatay man nila ang napulo ka anak ni Haman. Kag ipabitay sa kahoy ang mga bangkay sang napulo ka anak ni Haman.”
14Gani nagsugo ang hari nga himuon ang pangabay ni Ester. Ginpahibalo sa Susa ang mando sang hari, kag ginpabitay ang mga bangkay sang napulo ka anak ni Haman. 15Pagkaaga, ika-14 nga adlaw sang bulan sang Adar, nagtipon liwat ang mga Judio nga ara sa Susa, kag nakapatay sila sang 300 ka tawo. Pero wala nila pagkuhaa ang pagkabutang sang ila mga kaaway.

Ang Piesta nga Ginatawag “Purim”

Ang Rason kon ngaa may Piesta nga Ginatawag “Purim”
24Si Haman nga anak ni Hamedata nga Agagnon, nga kaaway sang tanan nga Judio, nagplano sa pagpatay sa mga Judio. Naggabot-gabot siya agod mahibaluan niya kon san-o niya sila laglagon.
