4¶ And the king said, Who is in the court? Now Haman was come into the outward court of the king’s house, to speak unto the king to hang Mordecai on the gallows that he had prepared for him. 5And the king’s servants said unto him, Behold, Haman standeth in the court. And the king said, Let him come in. 6So Haman came in. And the king said unto him, What shall be done unto the man whom the king delighteth to honour? 12¶ And Mordecai came again to the king’s gate. But Haman hasted to his house mourning, and having his head covered. 13And Haman told Zeresh his wife and all his friends every thing that had befallen him. Then said his wise men and Zeresh his wife unto him, If Mordecai be of the seed of the Jews, before whom thou hast begun to fall, thou shalt not prevail against him, but shalt surely fall before him. 14And while they were yet talking with him, came the king’s chamberlains, and hasted to bring Haman unto the banquet that Esther had prepared.
Gipasidunggan si Mordecai
1Niadtong gabhiona wala makatulog si Haring Ahasuerus, busa gipakuha niya ang libro sa kasaysayan sa iyang gingharian ug gibasa kini ngadto kaniya. 2Nabasa ang nasulat sa maong libro bahin sa pagsugilon ni Mordecai sa plano nila ni Bigtana ug Teresh nga patyon si Haring Ahasuerus. Kini si Bigtana ug Teresh mga alagad sa hari, nga mga guwardya kaniadto sa pultahan sa kuwarto sa hari.
3Nangutana ang hari, “Unsay gihimo aron sa pagpasidungog kang Mordecai niining iyang maayong gihimo kanako?” Mitubag ang mga sulugoon, “Wala gayod, Mahal nga Hari.”
4Nianang higayona nagpadulong si Haman sa sulod nga hawanan sa palasyo aron paghangyo sa hari nga bitayon si Mordecai sa bitayanan nga iyang gipahimo. Nangutana ang hari, “Kinsa kanang nagtindog sa hawanan?” 5Mitubag ang mga sulugoon, “Si Haman kana.” Unya miingon ang hari, “Pasudla ninyo siya dinhi.”
6Pagsulod ni Haman nangutana ang hari kaniya, “Unsay maayo kong buhaton alang sa tawo nga gusto kong pasidunggan?” Abi ni Haman ug siyay gipasabot sa hari, 7busa miingon siya, “Mao kini, Mahal nga Hari, ang imong buhaton: 8Ipakuha ang usa sa imong harianong bisti nga imo nang nasul-ob, ug ang usa ka kabayo nga imo nang nasakyan, kadtong may dekorasyon sa ulo. 9Ug unya ingna ang usa sa imong mga opisyal nga taas ug ranggo nga pasul-oban niya ang maong tawo sa harianong bisti ug ipasakay sa imong kabayo. Unya ilibot niya kini sa siyudad. Ug samtang nagalibot sila, mosinggit ang mga opisyal, ‘Mao kini ang buhaton ngadto sa tawo nga gusto sa hari nga pasidunggan.’ ”
10Miingon ang hari kang Haman, “Sige, kuhaa dayon ang akong bisti ug kabayo, ug himoa ang tanan mong gisulti ngadto kang Mordecai, ang Judio nga anaa maglingkod sa pultahan sa akong palasyo. Siguroha nga matuman ang tanan mong gisulti.”
11Busa gikuha ni Haman ang bisti ug ang kabayo. Gisul-ob niya ang bisti kang Mordecai ug gipasakay niya kini sa kabayo. Unya gilibot niya si Mordecai sa siyudad samtang nagasinggit siya nga, “Mao kini ang buhaton ngadto sa tawo nga gusto sa hari nga pasidunggan.”
12Pagkahuman, mibalik si Mordecai sa pultahan sa palasyo. Apan si Haman midali-dali ug pauli nga nagtabon sa iyang nawong tungod sa labihang kaulaw. 13Unya gisugilon niya sa iyang asawa nga si Zeres ug sa iyang mga higala ang tanang nahitabo. Miingon kaniya ang iyang asawa ug mga higala nga magtatambag, “Inanay ka na nga nagakapildi kang Mordecai. Dili ka gayod makalupig kaniya tungod kay usa siya ka Judio. Sigurado gayod nga madaot ka.” 14Samtang nagsultihanay pa sila, miabot ang mga opisyal sa hari ug midali-dali pagdala kang Haman ngadto sa panihapon nga giandam ni Ester.
