7¶ Truly the light is sweet, and a pleasant thing it is for the eyes to behold the sun: 8But if a man live many years, and rejoice in them all; yet let him remember the days of darkness; for they shall be many. All that cometh is vanity.
9¶ Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment. 10Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity.11.10 sorrow: or, anger
Ang Ginahimo sang Maalamon nga Tawo
1Inegosyo ang imo kuwarta kay sa ulihi may maganansya ka.11:1 Ukon, Magmahinatagon ka, kay sa ulihi pagabalusan ka. 2Ibutang ang imo kuwarta sa nagkalain-lain11:2 sa nagkalain-lain: sa literal, sa pito kag sa walo man. nga negosyo,11:2 Ibutang… negosyo: ukon, Maghatag ka sa madamo nga mga tawo. kay wala ka kahibalo kon ano nga kalamidad ang magaabot sa kalibutan.
3Kon ang gal-om madamol na, nagaulan. Kag kon diin matumba ang kahoy, didto ini nagapabilin.11:3 Siguro ang buot silingon sini nga bersikulo nga ang mga nagakalatabo diri sa kalibutan, labi na ang mga kalamidad, indi makontrolar sang tawo.
4Kon ang panahon lang ang imo ginabantayan, indi ka gid makatanom kag wala ka sing patubas.
5Subong nga indi mo mahibaluan kon paano nagasugod ang kabuhi sang bata11:5 kon paano… bata: ukon, kon diin nagapakadto ang hangin, kag paano maporma ang bata. sa tiyan sang iya iloy, indi mo man maintiendihan ang mga ginahimo sang Dios nga manughimo sang tanan nga butang.
6Magtanom ka sa bilog nga adlaw, kay wala ka kahibalo kon ang tanan magatubo sing maayo ukon ang iban lang.
7Maayo gid kon buhi ka pa. 8Bisan ano man kalawig ang imo kabuhi, magkalipay ka sa bug-os mo nga kabuhi. Dumdumon mo nga ang kamatayon magaabot kag magadugay ini. Wala sing pulos ang tanan nga matabo sa palaabuton.
9Ikaw nga pamatan-on, magkalipay ka sa imo kabuhi samtang bataon ka pa. Himua ang gusto mo nga himuon, pero dumdumon mo nga pagahukman ka sang Dios sa tanan mo nga ginahimo. 10Indi ka magpalibog ukon magkalisod kay ang pagkabataon umalagi lang.
