1And Moses with the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, Keep all the commandments which I command you this day. 2And it shall be on the day when ye shall pass over Jordan unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, that thou shalt set thee up great stones, and plaister them with plaister: 3And thou shalt write upon them all the words of this law, when thou art passed over, that thou mayest go in unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, a land that floweth with milk and honey; as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee. 4Therefore it shall be when ye be gone over Jordan, that ye shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, in mount Ebal, and thou shalt plaister them with plaister. 5And there shalt thou build an altar unto the LORD thy God, an altar of stones: thou shalt not lift up any iron tool upon them. 6Thou shalt build the altar of the LORD thy God of whole stones: and thou shalt offer burnt offerings thereon unto the LORD thy God: 7And thou shalt offer peace offerings, and shalt eat there, and rejoice before the LORD thy God. 8And thou shalt write upon the stones all the words of this law very plainly.
9¶ And Moses and the priests the Levites spake unto all Israel, saying, Take heed, and hearken, O Israel; this day thou art become the people of the LORD thy God. 10Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of the LORD thy God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day.
11¶ And Moses charged the people the same day, saying, 12These shall stand upon mount Gerizim to bless the people, when ye are come over Jordan; Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin: 13And these shall stand upon mount Ebal to curse; Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.27.13 to curse: Heb. for a cursing
14¶ And the Levites shall speak, and say unto all the men of Israel with a loud voice, 15Cursed be the man that maketh any graven or molten image, an abomination unto the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and putteth it in a secret place. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen. 16Cursed be he that setteth light by his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen. 17Cursed be he that removeth his neighbour’s landmark. And all the people shall say, Amen. 18Cursed be he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way. And all the people shall say, Amen. 19Cursed be he that perverteth the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, Amen. 20Cursed be he that lieth with his father’s wife; because he uncovereth his father’s skirt. And all the people shall say, Amen. 21Cursed be he that lieth with any manner of beast. And all the people shall say, Amen. 22Cursed be he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen. 23Cursed be he that lieth with his mother in law. And all the people shall say, Amen. 24Cursed be he that smiteth his neighbour secretly. And all the people shall say, Amen. 25Cursed be he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen. 26Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen.
Ang Halaran sa Bukid sang Ebal
1Karon ginmanduan ni Moises kag sang mga manugdumala sang Israel ang katawhan: “Tumana ninyo ining tanan nga sugo nga ginahatag ko sa inyo subong. 2Kon makatabok na kamo sa Jordan, didto sa duta nga ginahatag sa inyo sang Ginoo nga inyo Dios, magtumpok kamo sang dalagko nga mga bato, kag pahiran ninyo ini sang apog. 3Isulat ninyo sa sini nga mga bato ang tanan nga kasuguan kon makasulod na kamo sa maayo kag mapatubason nga duta27:3 maayo… duta: sa literal, duta nga nagailig ang gatas kag dugos. nga ginahatag sa inyo sang Ginoo nga inyo Dios, ang Dios sang inyo mga katigulangan, suno sa iya ginpromisa sa inyo. 4Kon makatabok na kamo sa Jordan, patinduga ninyo ini nga mga bato sa Bukid sang Ebal, suno sa ginmando ko sa inyo subong, kag pahiran ninyo ini sang apog. 5Dayon maghimo kamo didto sang halaran nga bato para sa Ginoo nga inyo Dios. Indi ninyo pagbasbasan ang mga bato nga inyo gamiton. 6Dapat wala mabasbasi ang mga bato nga himuon ninyo nga halaran. Dayon maghalad kamo sa sini nga halaran sang mga halad nga ginasunog para sa Ginoo nga inyo Dios. 7Maghalad man kamo sang halad nga para sa maayo nga relasyon, kag kauna ninyo ini didto kag magkinalipay kamo sa presensya sang Ginoo nga inyo Dios. 8Kag isulat ninyo sing maathag ining mga kasuguan sang Dios sa mga bato nga ginpahiran ninyo sang apog.”
9Nagsiling pa gid si Moises kag ang mga pari nga mga kaliwat ni Levi sa tanan nga Israelinhon, “Pamati kamo, O katawhan sang Israel! Subong nga adlaw nangin katawhan na kamo sang Ginoo nga inyo Dios. 10Sunda ninyo ang Ginoo nga inyo Dios kag tumana ang iya mga sugo kag mga pagsulundan nga ginahatag ko sa inyo subong.”
Ang mga Pagpakamalaot
11Sa amo man nga adlaw ginmanduan ni Moises ang katawhan: 12“Kon makatabok na gani kamo sa Jordan, amo ini ang mga tribo nga magtindog sa Bukid sang Gerizim sa pagbendisyon sa katawhan: ang tribo ni Simeon, Levi, Juda, Isacar, Jose, kag Benjamin. 13Kag amo man ini ang mga tribo nga magtindog sa Bukid sang Ebal sa pagpakamalaot sa katawhan: ang tribo ni Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan, kag Naftali.
14“Ang mga Levita magsinggit sing mabaskog sa tanan nga Israelinhon:
15“Pakamalauton ang tawo nga maghimo sang bisan ano nga mga dios-dios nga hinimo halin sa bato ukon saway kag simbahon ini bisan sa sekreto. Kay ini nga mga dios-dios nga hinimo lang sang tawo ginakaugtan sang Ginoo.” Masabat dayon ang tanan nga tawo, “Amen!”27:15 Amen: Tan-awa ang Lista sang mga Pulong sa likod.
16“Pakamalauton ang tawo nga wala nagatahod sa iya mga ginikanan.” Masabat dayon ang tanan nga tawo, “Amen!”
17“Pakamalauton ang tawo nga nagahalin sang muhon sang duta sang iya isigkatawo agod kawaton ang duta.” Masabat dayon ang tanan nga tawo, “Amen!”
18“Pakamalauton ang tawo nga nagapatalang sang bulag sa dalan.” Masabat dayon ang tanan nga tawo, “Amen!”
19“Pakamalauton ang tawo nga wala nagahatag sang hustisya sa mga indi Israelinhon, sa mga ilo kag sa mga balo nga babayi.” Masabat dayon ang tanan nga tawo, “Amen!”
20“Pakamalauton ang tawo nga magpakighilawas sa asawa sang iya amay, kay ginapakahuy-an niya ang iya amay.” Masabat dayon ang tanan nga tawo, “Amen!”
21“Pakamalauton ang tawo nga magpakighilawas sa bisan ano nga sapat.” Masabat dayon ang tanan nga tawo, “Amen!”
22“Pakamalauton ang tawo nga magpakighilawas sa iya utod nga babayi, utod man niya sa amay ukon sa iloy.” Masabat dayon ang tanan nga tawo, “Amen!”
23“Pakamalauton ang tawo nga magpakighilawas sa iya ugangan nga babayi.” Masabat dayon ang tanan nga tawo, “Amen!”
24“Pakamalauton ang tawo nga magpatay sang iya kapareho bisan sa sekreto.” Masabat dayon ang tanan nga tawo, “Amen!”
25“Pakamalauton ang tawo nga magbaton sang suhol sa pagpatay sang inosente nga tawo.” Masabat dayon ang tanan nga tawo, “Amen!”
26“Pakamalauton ang tawo nga indi magsunod ukon magtuman sining tanan nga sugo.” Masabat dayon ang tanan nga tawo, “Amen!”
