Deuteronomy 22:1-30

1Thou shalt not see thy brother’s ox or his sheep go astray, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt in any case bring them again unto thy brother. 2And if thy brother be not nigh unto thee, or if thou know him not, then thou shalt bring it unto thine own house, and it shall be with thee until thy brother seek after it, and thou shalt restore it to him again. 3In like manner shalt thou do with his ass; and so shalt thou do with his raiment; and with all lost thing of thy brother’s, which he hath lost, and thou hast found, shalt thou do likewise: thou mayest not hide thyself.

4¶ Thou shalt not see thy brother’s ass or his ox fall down by the way, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt surely help him to lift them up again.

5¶ The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.

6¶ If a bird’s nest chance to be before thee in the way in any tree, or on the ground, whether they be young ones, or eggs, and the dam sitting upon the young, or upon the eggs, thou shalt not take the dam with the young: 7But thou shalt in any wise let the dam go, and take the young to thee; that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days.

8¶ When thou buildest a new house, then thou shalt make a battlement for thy roof, that thou bring not blood upon thine house, if any man fall from thence.

9¶ Thou shalt not sow thy vineyard with divers seeds: lest the fruit of thy seed which thou hast sown, and the fruit of thy vineyard, be defiled.22.9 fruit of thy seed: Heb. fulness of the seed

10¶ Thou shalt not plow with an ox and an ass together.

11¶ Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woollen and linen together.

12¶ Thou shalt make thee fringes upon the four quarters of thy vesture, wherewith thou coverest thyself.22.12 quarters: Heb. wings

13¶ If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her, 14And give occasions of speech against her, and bring up an evil name upon her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid: 15Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsel’s virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate: 16And the damsel’s father shall say unto the elders, I gave my daughter unto this man to wife, and he hateth her; 17And, lo, he hath given occasions of speech against her, saying, I found not thy daughter a maid; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter’s virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city. 18And the elders of that city shall take that man and chastise him; 19And they shall amerce him in an hundred shekels of silver, and give them unto the father of the damsel, because he hath brought up an evil name upon a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days. 20But if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not found for the damsel: 21Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father’s house: so shalt thou put evil away from among you.

22¶ If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put away evil from Israel.

23¶ If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her; 24Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour’s wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you.

25¶ But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die:22.25 force: or, take strong hold of 26But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbour, and slayeth him, even so is this matter: 27For he found her in the field, and the betrothed damsel cried, and there was none to save her.

28¶ If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found; 29Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel’s father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.

30¶ A man shall not take his father’s wife, nor discover his father’s skirt.

1“如果你们看见同胞的牛或羊走迷了路,不可视而不见,要把它带回去交给主人。 2如果主人离你们很远,或者你们不知道主人是谁,就要把它牵回家,等主人来找时再还给主人。 3见到同胞遗失的驴、衣物或其他东西,都要这样处理,不可视而不见。 4如果在路上看见同胞的牛或驴倒在地上,不可视而不见,要帮忙把它扶起来。

5“女人不可穿戴男人的衣物,男人也不可穿戴女人的衣物,因为这是你们的上帝耶和华所憎恶的。

6“如果你们在路边、树上或地上看见鸟巢,里面有雏鸟或蛋,并有母鸟伏在上面,不可把母鸟和雏鸟一起取走。 7你们可以取走雏鸟,但要放走母鸟。这样,你们就会凡事顺利,得享长寿。

8“建造新房时,要在房顶22:8 以色列人的房子都是平顶房。上安设围栏,免得有人从房顶上掉下来,由你们承担流血之罪。

9“你们不可在葡萄园里种别的作物,否则你们的收成和园中的果子都要充公。 10不可让牛和驴同负一轭耕地。 11不可穿由羊毛和细麻合织的衣物。

12“要在外袍的四角缀上穗子。

有关女子贞操的条例

13“如果有人娶了妻子,与她同房后却不喜欢她, 14诽谤她,说,‘我娶她时,发现她已经不是处女’, 15女方父母就要把凭据拿到城门口的长老们面前,证明女儿的贞洁。 16女方的父亲要对他们说,‘我把女儿嫁给这个人,现在他不喜欢我女儿, 17诽谤她,声称她结婚时已经不是处女,但这里有我女儿贞洁的凭据。’女方父母要把女儿新婚之夜用过的床单在长老们面前展开。 18长老们就必须抓住那人惩处他, 19罚他赔偿一公斤银子给女方的父亲,因为他诽谤了一个以色列的处女。那女子仍要做他妻子,丈夫终生不可休她。

20“但如果那人的指控属实,没有找到那女子贞洁的凭据, 21就要把她带到她父亲的家门前,由本城的人用石头打死她。因为她婚前淫乱,在以色列做了可耻的事。你们必须除掉你们中间的罪恶。

22“如果有人与有夫之妇通奸,必须处死奸夫和淫妇,这样就从以色列除掉了罪恶。

23“如果有人在城中遇见已经订婚的女子,与她行淫, 24你们必须把二人带到城门口,用石头打死他们。那女子该死,因为她在城中却没有高声呼救;那男子该死,因为他奸污了别人的妻子。你们必须除去你们中间的罪恶。

25“如果有人在野外遇见已经订婚的女子,强奸了她,必须处死那男子。 26但不可处死那女子,因为她没有犯该死的罪,她像被攻击、杀害的人一样是无辜的。 27因为她是在野外被强奸,即使喊叫也无人救她。

28“如果有人强奸了未订婚的处女,被抓住后, 29这人要付给女方的父亲六百克银子,并娶她为妻,终生不可休她,因为他奸污了她。

30“人不可娶他父亲的妻妾,因为这是对他父亲的羞辱。
