6¶ And I also have given you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and want of bread in all your places: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD. 7And also I have withholden the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered. 8So two or three cities wandered unto one city, to drink water; but they were not satisfied: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD. 9I have smitten you with blasting and mildew: when your gardens and your vineyards and your fig trees and your olive trees increased, the palmerworm devoured them: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.4.9 when…: or, the multitude of your gardens, etc. did the palmerworm 10I have sent among you the pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your young men have I slain with the sword, and have taken away your horses; and I have made the stink of your camps to come up unto your nostrils: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.4.10 after…: or, in the way4.10 and have…: Heb. with the captivity of your horses 11I have overthrown some of you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as a firebrand plucked out of the burning: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD. 12Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel. 13For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, The LORD, The God of hosts, is his name.4.13 wind: or, spirit
1Kamong mga dungganon nga mga babaye sa Samaria, sama kamo sa pinatambok nga mga baka sa Basan. Gilisod-lisod ninyo ug gidaog-daog ang mga kabos. Nagaingon pa kamo sa inyong mga bana, “Pagkuha ug bino ug mag-inom kita!” 2Sa akong pagkabalaan, ipanumpa ko nga moabot gayod ang adlaw nga bihagon kamo sa inyong mga kaaway. Ang matag usa kaninyo mahisama sa isda nga nabingwitan. 3Pagawason nila kamo sa inyong siyudad agi sa mga bangag sa mga paril nga nangaguba, ug itambog nila kamo sa Harmon. Ako, ang Ginoo, ang nagaingon niini.
4“Mga Israelinhon, adto kamo sa ginasimbahan ninyo sa Betel ug sa Gilgal ug pagpakasala pa gayod kamo. Pagdala kamo sa inyong mga halad kada buntag ug pagdala kamo ug ikapulo sa inyong mga abot kada tulo ka adlaw. 5Pagsunog kamo ug pan nga may patubo ingon nga halad sa pagpasalamat kanako. Sige, ipanghambog ninyo kana apil ang inyong mga halad nga kinabubut-on, kay mao man kana ang inyong gustong buhaton. Ako, ang Ginoong Dios, ang nagaingon niini.
6“Ako ang nagpadala kaninyo ug kagutom sa tanan ninyong mga siyudad, apan wala kamo mobalik kanako. Ako, ang Ginoo, ang nagaingon niini.
7“Ako ang nagpugong sa ulan sulod sa tulo ka bulan una moabot ang ting-ani. Gipaulanan ko ang ubang siyudad apan ang uban wala. Gipaulanan ko usab ang ubang kaumahan apan ang uban namad-an. 8Tungod sa kaluya nagsusapinday na kamo sa pagpangita ug tubig gikan sa usa ka siyudad ngadto sa laing siyudad, apan wala matagbaw ang inyong kauhaw. Bisan pa niana, wala gihapon kamo mobalik kanako. Ako, ang Ginoo, ang nagaingon niini. 9Makadaghan ko na daota ang inyong mga tanaman pinaagi sa init nga hangin ug peste. Giataki sa mga dulon ang inyong mga kahoy nga igos ug olibo. Apan wala gihapon kamo mobalik kanako. Ako, ang Ginoo, ang nagaingon niini. 10Gipadad-an ko kamo ug mga katalagman sama sa akong gipadala kaniadto sa Ehipto. Gipapatay ko ang inyong mga batan-ong lalaki sa gira ug gipadala ko sa inyong mga kaaway ang inyong mga kabayo. Gipaantos ko kamo sa kabaho sa mga patay sa inyong mga kampo, apan wala gihapon kamo mobalik kanako. Ako, ang Ginoo, ang nagaingon niini. 11Gilaglag ko ang uban kaninyo sama sa gihimo ko sa Sodoma ug Gomora, ug kamong nakalingkawas nahisama sa kahoy nga gisakmit gikan sa kalayo. Apan wala gihapon kamo mobalik kanako. Ako, ang Ginoo, ang nagaingon niini. 12Busa ipahamtang ko pa gayod kini nga mga silot kaninyo, mga taga-Israel. Ug tungod kay himuon ko man kini, pangandam kamo sa pag-atubang kanako nga inyong Dios.”
13Ang Dios mao ang naghimo sa mga bukid ug sa hangin,4:13 hangin: o, espiritu sa tawo. ug siya usab ang naghimo sa kabuntagon ug kagabhion. Gipadayag niya sa tawo ang iyang mga plano, ug siya ang nagagahom sa tibuok kalibotan. Ginoong Dios nga Makagagahom ang iyang ngalan.
