1And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon’s reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the LORD.6.1 began…: Heb. built 2And the house which king Solomon built for the LORD, the length thereof was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits, and the height thereof thirty cubits. 3And the porch before the temple of the house, twenty cubits was the length thereof, according to the breadth of the house; and ten cubits was the breadth thereof before the house. 4And for the house he made windows of narrow lights.6.4 of…: or, broad within, and narrow without: or, skewed and closed

11¶ And the word of the LORD came to Solomon, saying, 12Concerning this house which thou art in building, if thou wilt walk in my statutes, and execute my judgments, and keep all my commandments to walk in them; then will I perform my word with thee, which I spake unto David thy father: 13And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will not forsake my people Israel. 14So Solomon built the house, and finished it.

36¶ And he built the inner court with three rows of hewed stone, and a row of cedar beams.
37¶ In the fourth year was the foundation of the house of the LORD laid, in the month Zif: 38And in the eleventh year, in the month Bul, which is the eighth month, was the house finished throughout all the parts thereof, and according to all the fashion of it. Отуда разлике у преводу.. 32На тим двокрилним вратима од маслиновог дрвета је урезао ликове херувима, палми и растворених цветова, и обложио их златом; херувиме и палме је обложио листићима злата. 33Исто је учинио и са улазом у Светилиште, са довратницима од маслиновог дрвета на четири угла, 34и са двокрилним вратима од чемпресовог дрвета; свако крило је било направљено од два дела који су се склапали и расклапали. 35На њих је урезао херувиме, палме и растворене цветове, па је изрезбарено равномерно обложио златом.
36Саградио је и унутрашње предворје од три реда тесаног камења и једног реда кедрових греда.
37Темељи Дома Господњег су били положени четврте године у месецу Зиву. 38Једанаесте године месеца Вула, који је осми месец, Дом је био завршен са свим својим деловима и према свему што је било одређено за њега. Соломон га је изградио за седам година.
