16¶ Furthermore over the tribes of Israel: the ruler of the Reubenites was Eliezer the son of Zichri: of the Simeonites, Shephatiah the son of Maachah: 17Of the Levites, Hashabiah the son of Kemuel: of the Aaronites, Zadok: 18Of Judah, Elihu, one of the brethren of David: of Issachar, Omri the son of Michael:27.18 Elihu: also called, Eliab 19Of Zebulun, Ishmaiah the son of Obadiah: of Naphtali, Jerimoth the son of Azriel: 20Of the children of Ephraim, Hoshea the son of Azaziah: of the half tribe of Manasseh, Joel the son of Pedaiah: 21Of the half tribe of Manasseh in Gilead, Iddo the son of Zechariah: of Benjamin, Jaasiel the son of Abner: 22Of Dan, Azareel the son of Jeroham. These were the princes of the tribes of Israel.
23¶ But David took not the number of them from twenty years old and under: because the LORD had said he would increase Israel like to the stars of the heavens. 24Joab the son of Zeruiah began to number, but he finished not, because there fell wrath for it against Israel; neither was the number put in the account of the chronicles of king David.27.24 was: Heb. ascended

5Si Benaya na anak ng paring si Jehoyada, ang kumander ng mga sundalo sa ikatlong buwan. May 24,000 siyang sundalo sa kanyang grupo. 6Siya ang Benaya na matapang na pinuno ng 30 matatapang na tauhan ni David. Ang anak niyang si Amizabad ang pinakamataas na opisyal sa grupo niya.
7Si Asahel na kapatid ni Joab ang kumander ng sundalo sa ikaapat na buwan. Ang anak niyang si Zebadia ang pumalit sa kanya. May 24,000 sundalo sa grupo niya.

11Si Sibecai na taga-Husha na mula sa angkan ni Zera ang kumander ng mga sundalo sa ikawalong buwan. May 24,000 sundalo sa grupo niya.
12Si Abiezer na taga-Anatot na mula sa lahi ni Benjamin ang kumander sa ikasiyam na buwan. May 24,000 sundalo sa grupo niya.
13Si Maharai na taga-Netofa na mula sa angkan ni Zera ang kumander ng mga sundalo sa ikasampung buwan. May 24,000 sundalo sa grupo niya.
14Si Benaya na taga-Piraton na mula sa lahi ni Efraim ang kumander ng mga sundalo sa ika-11 buwan. May 24,000 sundalo sa grupo niya.

23Nang sinensus ni David ang mga tao, hindi niya isinama ang mga tao na wala pa sa edad na 20, dahil nangako ang Panginoon na pararamihin niya ang mga Israelita gaya ng mga bituin sa langit. 24Inumpisahan ni Joab na anak ni Zeruya ang pagsesensus sa mga tao pero hindi niya ito natapos dahil nagalit ang Dios sa pagsesensus na ito. Kaya ang kabuuang bilang ng mga Israelita ay hindi naitala sa listahan ni Haring David.

25Si Azmavet na anak ni Adiel ang namamahala sa mga bodega sa palasyo ng hari.
Si Jonatan na anak ni Uzia ang namamahala sa mga bodega sa mga distrito, bayan, baryo at sa mga tore.
26Si Ezri na anak ni Kelub ang namamahala sa mga nagtatrabaho sa bukid ng hari.
27Si Shimei na taga-Rama ang namamahala sa mga ubasan ng hari.
Si Zabdi na taga-Sefam ang namamahala ng mga produkto nito, ang bunga ng ubas at alak ng hari.
28Si Baal Hanan na taga-Geder ang namamahala ng mga puno ng olibo at sikomoro sa mga kaburulan sa kanluran.27:28 kaburulan sa kanluran: sa Hebreo, Shefela.
Si Joash ang namamahala sa mga bodega ng langis ng olibo.
29Si Sitrai na taga-Sharon ang namamahala ng mga kawan ng hayop na pinapastol sa Sharon.
Si Shafat na anak ni Adlai ang namamahala ng mga kawan ng hayop sa mga lambak.
30Si Obil na Ishmaelita ang namamahala ng mga kamelyo.
Si Jedaya na taga-Meronot ang namamahala ng mga asno.
31Si Jaziz na Hagreo ang namamahala ng mga tupa.
Silang lahat ang mga opisyal na namamahala sa mga ari-arian ni Haring David.
32Si Jonatan na tiyuhin ni Haring David ang tagapayo niya. Isa siyang matalinong tao at manunulat. Si Jehiel na anak ni Hacmoni ang guro ng mga anak ng hari. 33Si Ahitofel ang isa pang tagapayo ng hari. Ang Arkeo na si Hushai ay malapit na kaibigan ng hari. 34Nang mamatay si Ahitofel, pinalitan siya ni Jehoyada na anak ni Benaya at ni Abiatar. Si Joab ang kumander ng mga sundalo ng hari.
