9¶ And when they came unto the threshingfloor of Chidon, Uzza put forth his hand to hold the ark; for the oxen stumbled.13.9 Chidon: also called Nachon13.9 stumbled: or, shook it 10And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzza, and he smote him, because he put his hand to the ark: and there he died before God. 11And David was displeased, because the LORD had made a breach upon Uzza: wherefore that place is called Perez-uzza to this day.13.11 Perez-uzza: that is, The breach of Uzza 12And David was afraid of God that day, saying, How shall I bring the ark of God home to me? 13So David brought not the ark home to himself to the city of David, but carried it aside into the house of Obed-edom the Gittite.13.13 brought: Heb. removed 14And the ark of God remained with the family of Obed-edom in his house three months. የታቦቱ መመለስ
13፥1-14 ተጓ ምብ – 2ሳሙ 6፥1-11
1ዳዊትም ሻለቆችና መቶ አለቆች ከሆኑት የጦር ሹማምቱ ሁሉ ጋር ተማከረ። 2ከዚያም ለመላው የእስራኤል ማኅበር እንዲህ አለ፤ “እንግዲህ ነገሩ መልካም መስሎ ከታያችሁና የአምላካችን የእግዚአብሔር ፈቃድ ከሆነ፣ በእስራኤል ግዛት ሁሉ ለሚኖሩ በሩቅም ሆነ በቅርብ ላሉት ለቀሩት ወንድሞቻችን እንዲሁም በየራሳቸው ከተሞችና መሰማሪያዎች የሚኖሩ ካህናትና ሌዋውያን መጥተው ከእኛ ጋር እንዲሰባሰቡ እንላክባቸው። 3በሳኦል ዘመነ መንግሥት ሳንፈልገው13፥3 ወይም፣ ችላ ብለን የነበረውን የአምላካችንን ታቦት መልሰን ወደ እኛ እናምጣ”። 4ነገሩም በሕዝቡ ሁሉ ዘንድ ተቀባይነት ስላገኘ መላው ማኅበር ይህንኑ ለማድረግ ተስማማ።
5ስለዚህ ዳዊት የእግዚአብሔርን ታቦት ከቂርያትይዓሪም ለማምጣት ከግብፅ ወንዝ ከሺሖር ጀምሮ እስከ ለቦ ሐማት13፥5 ወይም፣ ወይም እስከ መተላለፊያው ድረስ የሰፈሩትን እስራኤላውያን ሁሉ ሰበሰበ። 6ዳዊትና እስራኤላውያን ሁሉ በኪሩብና በኪሩብ መካከል የተቀመጠውን ስሙም በእርሱ የተጠራውን፣ የእግዚአብሔር አምላክን ታቦት ከዚያ ለማምጣት በይሁዳ ወዳለችው ቂርያትይዓሪም ወደተባለችው ወደ ባኣላ ሄዱ።
7የእግዚአብሔርንም ታቦት ከአሚናዳብ ቤት በአዲስ ሠረገላ ላይ አድርገው አመጡት፤ ሠረገላውን ይነዱ የነበሩትም ዖዛና አሒዮ ነበሩ። 8ዳዊትና እስራኤላውያን ሁሉ በእግዚአብሔር ፊት ሆነው በቅኔና በበገና፣ በመሰንቆና በከበሮ፣ በጸናጽልና በመለከት በሙሉ ኀይላቸው በዓሉን በደስታ ያከብሩ ነበር።
9ወደ ኪዶን ዐውድማ በደረሱ ጊዜ በሬዎቹ አደናቅፏቸው ስለ ነበር፣ ዖዛ ታቦቱን ለመደገፍ እጁን ዘረጋ። 10ታቦቱን በእጁ ስለ ነካ፣ የእግዚአብሔር ቍጣ በዖዛ ላይ ነደደ፤ ስለዚህም በዚያው በእግዚአብሔር ፊት ሞተ።
11የእግዚአብሔር ቍጣ ዖዛን በድንገት ስለ ቀሠፈው ዳዊት ዐዘነ፤ ያም ቦታ እስከ ዛሬ ድረስ የዖዛ ስብራት13፥11 ወይም፣ ፔሬዝ ዖዛ ተብሎ ይጠራል።
12ዳዊት በዚያን ዕለት እግዚአብሔርን ስለ ፈራ፣ “ታዲያ የእግዚአብሔርን ታቦት ወደ እኔ እንዴት ማምጣት እችላለሁ?” አለ። 13ስለዚህ ታቦቱን ወደ ዳዊት ከተማ በመውሰድ ፈንታ የጋት ሰው ወደ ሆነው ወደ አቢዳራ ቤት ወሰደው። 14የእግዚአብሔርም ታቦት በአቢዳራ ቤት ከቤተ ሰቡ ጋር ሦስት ወር ተቀመጠ፤ እግዚአብሔርም ቤተ ሰቡንና ያለውንም ሁሉ ባረከ።
