1私は主の優しいお心づかいを、いつまでも歌います。
2あなたの愛と恵みと真実は、
永遠に絶えることがありません。
3-4主なる神はこう言われます。
「わたしは、よりすぐったしもべダビデと
厳粛な契約を結んだ。
彼の子孫を永久に王座につけると誓ったのだ。」
5ああ主よ。天はあなたの奇跡をたたえ、
御使いたちは、あなたの真実をたたえます。
6天に、主と並ぶ存在などありえませんから。
最も偉大な御使いでさえ、
主の足もとにも及びません。

いっさいのものを造られたのはあなたなのですから。
12北も南も神がお造りになりました。
タボル山とヘルモン山は、
創造主であるあなたに感謝しています。
13あなたの腕の力は天下に並ぶものがなく、
あなたの栄光ある右の手は、高くあげられています。
14-15あなたの王座を支えているのは、
公平と正義の太い二本の柱です。
あわれみと真実は、いつもおそばに控えています。
喜びに震えるラッパの音を聞く人々は幸せです。
あなたの光の中を歩くことができるからです。

彼はわたしのゆえに、偉大な者となる。

近隣の者もあざけって見ています。
42あなたは、むしろ敵を勇気づけ、
喜ばせておられるのです。
43戦場では、王の手から剣をたたき落とし、
見殺しになさいました。
44その勢いにとどめを刺し、
その王座をくつがえされました。
45彼を実際の年齢以上に老いさせ、
公衆の面前で恥をかかせられました。
46ああ主よ、いつまでこんな状態が続くのですか。
いつまで顔をそむけて、
燃えさかる怒りを注がれるのですか。
47あなたが人間の一生を、どんなに短く、
むなしいものにお定めになったか
思い起こしてください。
48人はいつまでも生きることはできません。
みな死に果てるのです。
だれが、墓から自分のいのちを救い出せましょう。
49主よ、以前は、
あんなに愛してくださったではありませんか。
かつてダビデに約束された確かな恵みは、
どこへ行ったのでしょう。
50主よ、ごらんください。
人々がこのように私をさげすんでいるのです。
51敵も、神が王として油を注がれたこの私を、
あざけっています。
