1主よ、どうか早く、私の祈りに答えてください。
助けを呼び求める声を聞いてください。
2私の祈りが、夕方の供え物となり、
あなたの前に立ち上る香となりますように。
3主よ、どうか、この口を堅く閉じ、
くちびるに封をさせてください。
4悪に走る汚れた心を取り除いてください。
罪人の仲間入りをして、
彼らのごちそうにありつこうなどと
思うことのないようにしてください。
5神を敬う人からのきびしい忠告は、
私を思う心から出たものです。
非難されたように感じても、
私にとって薬となるのです。
私が彼らの非難を拒絶することがありませんように。
私は、悪者どもには警戒を怠らず、
彼らの悪行に対抗して絶えず祈ります。
6-7悪者どもの指導者たちが罰を受け、
その骨が地にばらまかれるなら、
彼らは初めて私のことばに注意をはらい、
今まで、私が彼らを助けようとしていたことに
気づくでしょう。
8私の主よ。私はあなたを見つめ、
いつ助けてくださるかと待っています。
あなたは私の隠れ家ですから、
彼らに手出しをさせないでください。
9彼らの罠に近づけないでください。
10その罠には彼ら自身がかかり、
私は難を免れることができますように。
