1-2イスラエルの子はルベン、シメオン、レビ、ユダ、イッサカル、ゼブルン、ダン、ヨセフ、ベニヤミン、ナフタリ、ガド、アシェル。
ユダの子孫
3ユダには、カナンの女シュアの娘から生まれたエル、オナン、シェラの三人の子がいました。しかし、長男エルは主の前に罪を犯したので、主に殺されました。
4エルの妻であったタマルは、のちに、しゅうとのユダとの間にふたごのペレツとゼラフを産んだので、ユダの子は全部で五人です。
5ペレツの子はヘツロンとハムル。
6ゼラフの子はジムリ（ザブディ）、エタン、ヘマン、カルコル、ダラ。
7カルミ（ジムリの子）の子アカンは神のものを盗んで、イスラエルに災いをもたらしました。
8エタンの子はアザルヤ。
9ヘツロンの子はエラフメエル、ラム、カレブ。
10-12ラムの子はアミナダブ、その子はイスラエルの指導者ナフション。以下、サルマ、ボアズ、オベデ、エッサイと続きます。
13エッサイの長男はエリアブ、次男はアビナダブ、三男はシムア、 14四男はネタヌエル、五男はラダイ、 15六男はオツェム、七男はダビデです。 16二人の娘の名はツェルヤとアビガイル。
ツェルヤの子はアブシャイ、ヨアブ、アサエル。
17イシュマエル人エテルの妻アビガイルの子は、アマサ。
18ヘツロンの子カレブには、アズバとエリオテという二人の妻がありました。アズバによる子は、エシェル、ショバブ、アルドン。
19アズバの死後、カレブはエフラテと結婚しました。エフラテによる子はフル。
20フルの子はウリ、ウリの子はベツァルエル。
21ヘツロンは六十歳で、ギルアデの父でもあったマキルの娘と結婚しました。彼女はひとり息子のセグブを産みました。
22セグブは、ギルアデの地で二十三の町を治めたヤイルの父となりました。 23ところが、やはりマキルの子孫に当たるゲシュルとアラムがこの町々を奪い取り、さらにケナテと周辺の六十の村を取りました。
24カレブは、父ヘツロンが死ぬとすぐ、父の未亡人エフラテと結婚しました。彼女はテコアの父アシュフルを産みました。
25ヘツロンの長男エラフメエルの子は長男ラム、ブナ、オレン、オツェム、アヒヤ。
26エラフメエルのもう一人の妻アタラは、オナムの母となりました。
27ラムの子はマアツ、ヤミン、エケル。
28オナムの子はシャマイとヤダ。
シャマイの子はナダブとアビシュル。
29アビシュルと妻アビハイルとの子は、アフバンとモリデ。
30ナダブの子はセレデとアパイム。セレデは子がないまま死にました。 31アパイムの子はイシュイ、その子はシェシャン、その子はアフライ。
32シャマイの兄弟ヤダの子はエテルとヨナタン。エテルは子がないまま死にました。 33ヨナタンの子はペレテとザザ。
34-35シェシャンには娘だけで、息子はいませんでした。彼は娘の一人を彼の召使のエジプト人ヤルハの妻とし、生まれた息子をアタイと名づけました。
36-41アタイの子はナタン。以下、ザバデ、エフラル、オベデ、エフー、アザルヤ、ヘレツ、エルアサ、シセマイ、シャルム、エカムヤ、エリシャマと続きます。
42エラフメエルの兄弟カレブの長男は、メシャ。メシャはジフの父、ジフはマレシャの父、マレシャはヘブロンの父。
43ヘブロンの子はコラ、タプアハ、レケム、シェマ。
44シェマはラハムの父、ラハムはヨルコアムの父。
レケムはシャマイの父。
45シャマイの子はマオン。マオンはベテ・ツルの父。
46カレブのそばめエファは、ハラン、モツァ、ガゼズを産みました。ハランの子はガゼズと名づけられました。
47ヤフダイの子はレゲム、ヨタム、ゲシャン、ペレテ、エファ、シャアフ。
48-49カレブのもう一人のそばめマアカは、シェベル、ティルハナ、マデマナの父シャアフ、マクベナとギブアの父シェワを産みました。カレブにはまた、アクサという娘がいました。
50カレブとエフラテから生まれた長男フルの子は、キルヤテ・エアリムの父ショバル、 51ベツレヘムの父サルマ、ベテ・ガデルの父ハレフ。
52ショバルの子にはキルヤテ・エアリムのほかに、メヌホテ族の半分の先祖ハロエがいました。
53キルヤテ・エアリムの諸氏族は、エテル人、プテ人、シュマ人、ミシュラ人で、彼らからツォルア人とエシュタオル人が出ました。
54サルマの子孫は、その子ベツレヘム、ネトファ人、アテロテ・ベテ・ヨアブ、マナハテ人の半分、ツォルア人。 55ヤベツに住んでいた書記の諸氏族はティルア人、シムア人、スカ人。みな、レカブ家の父祖ハマテから出たケニ人でした。

18¶ And Caleb the son of Hezron begat children of Azubah his wife, and of Jerioth: her sons are these; Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon. 19And when Azubah was dead, Caleb took unto him Ephrath, which bare him Hur. 20And Hur begat Uri, and Uri begat Bezaleel.
21¶ And afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, whom he married when he was threescore years old; and she bare him Segub.2.21 married: Heb. took 22And Segub begat Jair, who had three and twenty cities in the land of Gilead. 23And he took Geshur, and Aram, with the towns of Jair, from them, with Kenath, and the towns thereof, even threescore cities. All these belonged to the sons of Machir the father of Gilead. 24And after that Hezron was dead in Caleb-ephratah, then Abiah Hezron’s wife bare him Ashur the father of Tekoa.
25¶ And the sons of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron were, Ram the firstborn, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, and Ahijah. 26Jerahmeel had also another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam. 27And the sons of Ram the firstborn of Jerahmeel were, Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker. 28And the sons of Onam were, Shammai, and Jada. And the sons of Shammai; Nadab, and Abishur. 29And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail, and she bare him Ahban, and Molid. 30And the sons of Nadab; Seled, and Appaim: but Seled died without children. 31And the sons of Appaim; Ishi. And the sons of Ishi; Sheshan. And the children of Sheshan; Ahlai. 32And the sons of Jada the brother of Shammai; Jether, and Jonathan: and Jether died without children. 33And the sons of Jonathan; Peleth, and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.
34¶ Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha. 35And Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant to wife; and she bare him Attai. 36And Attai begat Nathan, and Nathan begat Zabad, 37And Zabad begat Ephlal, and Ephlal begat Obed, 38And Obed begat Jehu, and Jehu begat Azariah, 39And Azariah begat Helez, and Helez begat Eleasah, 40And Eleasah begat Sisamai, and Sisamai begat Shallum, 41And Shallum begat Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begat Elishama.
42¶ Now the sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel were, Mesha his firstborn, which was the father of Ziph; and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron. 43And the sons of Hebron; Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema. 44And Shema begat Raham, the father of Jorkoam: and Rekem begat Shammai. 45And the son of Shammai was Maon: and Maon was the father of Beth-zur. 46And Ephah, Caleb’s concubine, bare Haran, and Moza, and Gazez: and Haran begat Gazez. 47And the sons of Jahdai; Regem, and Jotham, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph. 48Maachah, Caleb’s concubine, bare Sheber, and Tirhanah. 49She bare also Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbenah, and the father of Gibea: and the daughter of Caleb was Achsah.
