1愛する皆さん。もしだれかがあやまちを犯したら、聖霊によって歩むあなたがたは、やさしく謙遜な気持ちでその人を助け、正しい道に立ち返らせてあげなさい。また、自分自身も悪の道に落ち込まないように気をつけなさい。 2互いの悩み、苦しみを共に負い、キリストの命令に従いなさい。 3りっぱな人間である自分が、なにもそこまで身を低くする必要はないと思う人は、自分を偽っているのです。 4ほんとうに最善を尽くしているかどうか、もう一度、自分を点検しなさい。そうすれば、ほかの人と比較することもなくなるでしょう。 5人はみな、それぞれ自分の分をわきまえ、自分の分を果たすべきです。
失望せずに祝福を待つ
6神のことばを教えてくれる人には、報酬を払い、援助しなさい。 7思い違いをしてはいけません。神を無視することなどできません。人は種をまけば必ずその刈り取りもすることになるのです。 8自分の欲望を満足させるために種をまく者は、その結果、霊的な滅びと死とを刈り取るはめになります。しかし、聖霊の良い種をまく者は、聖霊が与えてくださる永遠のいのちを刈り取ります。 9正しい行いをすることに疲れ果ててしまわないようにしましょう。失望せず、あきらめずにいれば、やがて祝福を刈り取る日が来るからです。 10ですから、機会あるたびに、だれに対しても、特に信仰を持つ人たちには親切にしましょう。
11この最後のことばは、自筆で書いています。見てください、この大きな字を。 12何のために、例の教師たち（使徒15・1）が、あなたがたに割礼を受けさせようと図るのかわかりますか。その理由はただ一つです。すなわち、そのようにして評判や人気を得て、迫害を免れたいからです。その迫害とは、キリストの十字架が唯一の救いの道であると認めるなら、必ず受けるものです。 13そうした、割礼を主張する教師たちは、割礼以外の律法は守ろうとしません。それなのに、あなたがたに割礼を強要するのは、弟子をふやして誇るためなのです。 14しかし私は、主イエス・キリストの十字架のほかに、誇るものなど何もありません。十字架によって、私は、この世のものすべてに対して興味を失ってしまいました。この世も、私に対する興味をすっかり失ってしまったのです。 15割礼を受けているかいないかは、今は、全く問題ではありません。大切なのは、私たちがほんとうに別の新しい人に造り変えられているかどうか、ということです。 16どうか、この原則に従って生きる人々、そして真に神のものとなった人々に、神のあわれみと平安がありますように。
17もう二度と、こんな問題で論じ合わなくていいようにしたいものです。私の体には、イエスに敵対する者からむち打たれ、傷つけられた跡が残っていますが、それこそ、キリストの奴隷であることのしるしなのですから。
18どうか、私たちの主イエス・キリストの恵みが、あなたがた一同と共にありますように。アーメン。

Doing Good to All
1Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. 2Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. 3If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves. 4Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else, 5for each one should carry their own load. 6Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor.
7Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. 9Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
Not Circumcision but the New Creation

12Those who want to impress people by means of the flesh are trying to compel you to be circumcised. The only reason they do this is to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ. 13Not even those who are circumcised keep the law, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast about your circumcision in the flesh. 14May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which6:14 Or whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. 15Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is the new creation. 16Peace and mercy to all who follow this rule—to6:16 Or rule and to the Israel of God.
17From now on, let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus.
18The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers and sisters. Amen.
