主の山
1ユダ王国とエルサレムについて、主からイザヤに別のことばがありました。
2終わりの時代には、
だれもが、一度はエルサレムと神の神殿に
行ってみたいと思うようになります。
世界各地から多くの民が、
主を礼拝しに詰めかけます。
3そして彼らは言います。「さあ、主の山へ登ろう。
イスラエルの神の神殿に行くのだ。
そこで主の教えを習おう。
私たちはそれに喜んでお従いしたい。」
その時代になると、
世界の支配権はエルサレムへ移ります。
4主が国家間の紛争を解決するのです。
世界中で、武器を平和の道具に作り直します。
その時になって初めて、
いっさいの戦争は終わりを告げ、
いっさいの軍事訓練が不要になるのです。
5イスラエルよ、さあ主の光の中を共に歩み、
主の教えに従うのです。
主の日
6主はあなたがたを捨てました。
あなたがたがペリシテ人の習慣にならい、
魔術や悪魔礼拝をする東方の外国人を迎えたからです。
7イスラエルは金や銀に満ち、
馬や戦車も数知れません。
8そのうえ国中に偶像があふれています。
人間が造った像を拝んでいるのです。
9地位のある人もない人も、
だれもが偶像を拝んでいます。
こんな罪を、神は決してお赦しになりません。
10洞穴にもぐり込み、
主のまばゆいばかりの威光から身を隠しなさい。
11身のほど知らずの思い上がりが、
打ち砕かれる日がきたからです。
たたえられるのはただ主だけです。
12その日には、天の軍勢の主は
おごり高ぶる者にいどみかかり、
ちりの中でひれ伏させます。
13レバノンの高くそびえる杉とバシャンの樫の大木は、
難なくへし折られ、
14すべての高い山と丘も、
15高い塔と城壁も、
16誇らしげに波を砕く外航船も
美しく装った内航船も、
その日にはみな、主の前で無残に壊されます。
17全人類の栄光は輝きを失い、その誇りも地に落ち、
ただ主だけがたたえられるのです。
18すべての偶像は壊され、影も形もなくなります。
19主が御座から立ち上がって地を揺るがすとき、
敵どもはおじ気づき、
威光を恐れて洞穴や洞窟に逃げ込みます。
20その時彼らは、
金や銀で造った偶像をもぐらやこうもりに投げ与えます。
21こうして崖の上の岩の裂け目に隠れ、
身震いするような主の御姿と、
地を恐怖に陥れる威光から、
少しでも遠ざかろうとするのです。
22息のようにはかなく、あわれな人間よ。
そんな人間を絶対に信頼してはいけません。
