Ang Pamangkot Parte sa Awtoridad ni Jesus
(Mat. 21:23-27; Mar. 11:27-33)
1Isa ka adlaw, samtang nagatudlo si Jesus sang Maayong Balita sa mga tawo didto sa templo, nagpalapit sa iya ang manugdumala nga mga pari, ang mga manunudlo sang Kasuguan, kag ang mga manugdumala sang mga Judio. 2Nagpamangkot sila, “Sugiri kami kon ano ang imo awtoridad sa paghimo sang mga butang nga imo ginahimo diri sa templo. Sin-o ang naghatag sa imo sang sini nga awtoridad?” 3Nagsabat si Jesus sa ila, “May pamangkot man ako sa inyo. Sugiri ninyo ako, 4kay sin-o bala naghalin ang awtoridad ni Juan sa pagbautiso, sa Dios20:4 Dios: sa literal, langit. bala ukon sa tawo?” 5Nagbinaisay sila kon ano ang ila isabat, “Kon magsiling kita nga halin sa Dios, masiling siya, ‘Ti ngaa wala kamo nagpati kay Juan?’ 6Pero kon magsiling kita nga halin sa tawo, batuhon kita sang mga tawo, kay nagapati sila nga si Juan propeta sang Dios.” 7Gani nagsabat sila kay Jesus, “Wala kami kahibalo kon kay sin-o naghalin ang awtoridad ni Juan.” 8Dayon nagsiling si Jesus sa ila, “Ti indi ko man kamo pagsugiran kon kay sin-o awtoridad ginahimo ko ini nga mga butang.”
Ang Paanggid Parte sa Agsador
(Mat. 21:33-46; Mar. 12:1-12)
9Dayon nagsugid si Jesus sa mga tawo sini nga paanggid: “May isa ka tawo nga may duta nga ginpatamnan niya sang ubas. Pagkatapos ginpaagsahan niya ini kag naglakat sa malayo nga lugar kag nagtiner didto sing malawig. 10Sang tion na sang pagpamupo sang ubas, ginsugo niya ang isa ka suluguon sa mga agsador sa pagkuha sang iya parte. Pero pag-abot didto sang suluguon, ginbakol siya sang mga agsador kag ginpapauli nga wala gid sing dala. 11Dayon nagsugo liwat ang tag-iya sang isa pa ka suluguon. Pero pag-abot sang suluguon sa mga agsador, ginbakol man siya kag ginpakahuy-an kag ginpabalik man nila nga wala gid sing dala. 12Ginsugo pa gid sang tag-iya ang ikatlo nga suluguon, pero pag-abot niya didto ginsakit nila siya kag gintabog pauli. 13Gani nagsiling ang tag-iya sang talamnan, ‘Ano na lang ang akon himuon? Ah, ipadala ko na lang ang akon pinalangga nga anak. Kay siguro tahuron nila siya.’ 14Pero pagkakita sang mga agsador sa iya anak, nagsiling sila, ‘Ari na ang manunubli. Dali, patyon ta siya agod mangin aton ang iya palanublion.’ 15Gani gindala nila siya sa guwa sang talamnan kag ginpatay.”
Dayon nagsiling si Jesus sa mga tawo, “Ti ano ayhan ang himuon sang tag-iya sa ila? 16Sigurado gid nga kadtuan niya ang mga agsador kag pamatyon. Dayon paagsahan niya sa iban ang iya talamnan.” Pagkabati sadto sang mga tawo nagsiling sila, “Kabay pa nga indi lang pag-itugot sang Dios nga matabo ang pareho sina!” 17Pero gintulok sila ni Jesus kag ginpamangkot, “Ano bala ang kahulugan sang Kasulatan nga nagasiling,
‘Ang bato nga ginsikway sang mga panday
amo ang nangin pundasyon nga bato’20:17 Salmo 118:22.?
18Ang bisan sin-o nga mahulog sa sadto nga bato mabali, pero ang mahulugan sang amo nga bato madugmok gid.”
Ang Pamangkot Parte sa Pagbayad sang Buhis
(Mat. 22:15-22; Mar. 12:13-17)
19Sa sadto gid nga tion dakpon na siya kuntani sang mga manunudlo sang Kasuguan kag sang manugdumala nga mga pari, kay nahibaluan nila nga sila gid ang iya ginatumod sa iya nga paanggid. Pero nahadlok sila sa mga tawo. 20Gani naghulat pa gid sila sing kahigayunan. Nagpadala sila sing mga espiya nga nagpakuno-kuno nga maayo ang ila tuyo, agod kon may makita sila nga sala sa iya ginapanghambal iakusar nila siya sa gobernador. 21Nagpamangkot ini nga mga espiya kay Jesus, “Manunudlo, nahibaluan namon nga husto ang imo ginapanghambal kag ginapanudlo. Kag wala ka sing may ginapasulabi bisan sin-o, kundi kon ano ang kamatuoran parte sa kabubut-on sang Dios sa mga tawo amo gid ang imo ginatudlo. 22Ano bala sa imo, husto bala nga kita nga mga Judio magbayad sang buhis sa Emperador sang Roma ukon indi?” 23Pero nahibaluan ni Jesus ang ila madaya nga tinutuyo, gani nagsiling siya sa ila, 24“Abi pakitai ninyo ako sang kuwarta.20:24 kuwarta: sa literal, denarius, nga kuwarta sang mga Romanhon. Kay sin-o bala hitsura kag ngalan ang nabutang dira?” Nagsabat sila, “Iya sang Emperador.” 25Gani nagsiling si Jesus sa ila, “Ti kundi ihatag ninyo sa Emperador ang iya sang Emperador kag sa Dios ang iya sang Dios.” 26Gani sa atubangan sang tanan wala gid nila siya madakpi sa iya mga paghambal. Kag tungod nga natingala sila sa sabat ni Jesus, naghipos na lang sila.
Ang Pamangkot Parte sa Pagkabanhaw
(Mat. 22:23-33; Mar. 12:18-27)
27May mga Saduceo nga nagpalapit kay Jesus. Ini nga mga tawo wala nagapati nga may pagkabanhaw. 28Nagpamangkot sila, “Manunudlo, suno sa ginsulat ni Moises sa aton, kon mapatay ang lalaki nga wala sila sing bata sang iya asawa, dapat ang iya utod ang magpangasawa sa nabalo agod makapabata siya para sa iya utod nga napatay.20:28 Deu. 25:5. 29Karon, may pito ka mag-ulutod nga lalaki. Ang kamagulangan nagpangasawa, kag napatay nga wala sing bata. 30Gani ang balo ginpangasawa sang madason nga utod. Pero napatay man siya nga wala sila sang bata. 31Amo man ang natabo sa ikatlo nga utod, hasta sa ikapito. Nagkalamatay sila tanan nga wala gid nakapabata sa sadto nga babayi. 32Sang ulihi ang babayi napatay man. 33Karon, kon mag-abot na ang pagkabanhaw, kay sin-o gid siya nga asawa? Kay sila nga pito nagpangasawa sa iya.”
34Ginsabat sila ni Jesus, “Sa sini nga kalibutan nagaasawahay ang mga tawo. 35Pero ang bisan sin-o nga suno sa Dios takos nga banhawon kag magkabuhi sa palaabuton nga panahon indi na magaasawahay. 36Indi na sila mapatay tungod nga mangin pareho na sila sang mga anghel; mga anak sila sang Dios, kay ginbanhaw sila. 37Kon parte sa pagbanhaw sang mga patay, bisan gani ang ginsiling ni Moises didto sa nagadabadaba nga kahoy-kahoy nagapamatuod sini. Indi bala nga gintawag niya ang Ginoo nga ‘Dios ni Abraham, Isaac, kag Jacob’20:37 Exo. 3:6.? 38Ti buhi sila, kay ang Dios indi Dios sang mga patay kundi Dios sang mga buhi, kay kon sa iya, buhi ang tanan.” 39Nagsiling ang iban nga mga manunudlo sang Kasuguan, “Manunudlo, husto ang imo sabat.” 40Kag wala na gid sing may nangahas nga magpamangkot sa iya.
Ang Pamangkot Parte sa Cristo
(Mat. 22:41-46; Mar. 12:35-37)
41Karon, nagpamangkot si Jesus sa mga tawo, “Ngaa nagasiling sila nga ang Cristo kaliwat lang ni David? 42Kay si David mismo nagsiling sa Libro sang mga Salmo:
‘Nagsiling ang Ginoo sa akon Ginoo,
Pungko diri sa akon tuo
43hasta mapaidalom ko sa imo ang imo mga kaaway.’20:43 Salmo 110:1.
44Kon gintawag siya ni David nga iya Ginoo, paano bala nga siya kaliwat lang ni David?”
Nagpaandam si Jesus Parte sa mga Manunudlo sang Kasuguan
(Mat. 23:1-36; Mar. 12:38-40)
45Sang nagapamati ang mga tawo kay Jesus, nagsiling siya sa iya mga sumulunod, 46“Mag-andam kamo sa mga manunudlo sang Kasuguan nga gusto maglagaw-lagaw nga nagasuksok sang espesyal nga bayo.20:46 espesyal nga bayo: sa literal, malaba nga bayo. Sa mga lugar nga madamo sang tawo,20:46 mga lugar nga madamo sang tawo: sa literal, mga merkado. gusto nila nga tamyawon sila. Sa mga simbahan ukon sa mga punsyon ginapili gid nila ang mga pulungkuan nga para sa mga dungganon. 47Ginaubos nila kuha ang mga pagkabutang sang mga balo nga babayi, kag ginatabon-tabunan lang nila ang ila ginahimo paagi sa malawig nga mga pagpangamuyo. Ini sila magabaton sang mas dako nga silot.”
1And it came to pass, that on one of those days, as he taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes came upon him with the elders, 2And spake unto him, saying, Tell us, by what authority doest thou these things? or who is he that gave thee this authority? 3And he answered and said unto them, I will also ask you one thing; and answer me: 4The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? 5And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then believed ye him not? 6But and if we say, Of men; all the people will stone us: for they be persuaded that John was a prophet. 7And they answered, that they could not tell whence it was. 8And Jesus said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things. 9Then began he to speak to the people this parable; A certain man planted a vineyard, and let it forth to husbandmen, and went into a far country for a long time. 10And at the season he sent a servant to the husbandmen, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard: but the husbandmen beat him, and sent him away empty. 11And again he sent another servant: and they beat him also, and entreated him shamefully, and sent him away empty. 12And again he sent a third: and they wounded him also, and cast him out. 13Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence him when they see him. 14But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours. 15So they cast him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do unto them? 16He shall come and destroy these husbandmen, and shall give the vineyard to others. And when they heard it, they said, God forbid. 17And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner? 18Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
19¶ And the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them. 20And they watched him, and sent forth spies, which should feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of his words, that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor. 21And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that thou sayest and teachest rightly, neither acceptest thou the person of any, but teachest the way of God truly: 22Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Cæsar, or no? 23But he perceived their craftiness, and said unto them, Why tempt ye me? 24Shew me a penny. Whose image and superscription hath it? They answered and said, Cæsar’s. 25And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Cæsar the things which be Cæsar’s, and unto God the things which be God’s. 26And they could not take hold of his words before the people: and they marvelled at his answer, and held their peace.
27¶ Then came to him certain of the Sadducees, which deny that there is any resurrection; and they asked him, 28Saying, Master, Moses wrote unto us, If any man’s brother die, having a wife, and he die without children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother. 29There were therefore seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and died without children. 30And the second took her to wife, and he died childless. 31And the third took her; and in like manner the seven also: and they left no children, and died. 32Last of all the woman died also. 33Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them is she? for seven had her to wife. 34And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: 35But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: 36Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection. 37Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. 38For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.
39¶ Then certain of the scribes answering said, Master, thou hast well said. 40And after that they durst not ask him any question at all. 41And he said unto them, How say they that Christ is David’s son? 42And David himself saith in the book of Psalms, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, 43Till I make thine enemies thy footstool. 44David therefore calleth him Lord, how is he then his son?
45¶ Then in the audience of all the people he said unto his disciples, 46Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts; 47Which devour widows’ houses, and for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation.
