Nagpakita si Jesus sa Pito ka Sumulunod
1Pagkaligad sang pila ka adlaw, nagpakita liwat si Jesus sa iya mga sumulunod didto sa higad sang Dagat sang Tiberias. Amo ini ang natabo: 2Nagatilipon sila ni Simon Pedro, si Tomas nga ginatawag nga si Kapid, si Natanael nga taga-Cana nga sakop sang Galilea, ang mga anak ni Zebedee, kag may duha pa gid ka sumulunod ni Jesus. 3Karon, nagsiling si Simon Pedro sa iya mga kaupod, “Mangisda ako.” Nagsiling man sila, “Maupod kami sa imo.” Gani nagsakay sila sa sakayan kag nagpalawod. Pero sa sadto nga gab-i wala gid sila sing may nakuha. 4Sang manugbutlak na ang adlaw, may nakita sila nga nagatindog didto sa baybayon. Pero wala sila kahibalo nga si Jesus gali ato. 5Nagsiling si Jesus sa ila, “Mga abyan, may nakuha bala kamo?” Nagsabat sila, “Wala gid.” 6Nagsiling siya sa ila, “Ihulog ninyo ang inyo pukot sa tuo dampi sang sakayan, kag may makuha kamo.” Gani ginhulog nila didto ang ila pukot. Pagbatak nila indi na sila kadaog tungod sa kadamuon sang isda nga ila nakuha. 7Nagsiling kay Pedro ang sumulunod nga palangga ni Jesus, “Ang Ginoo gali ato!” Pagkabati sini ni Pedro, ginsuksok niya ang iya bayo nga iya gin-uba kag naglukso sa tubig kag naglangoy pakadto kay Jesus. 8Ang iban nga mga sumulunod nga didto sa sakayan nagpahigad nga nagabutong sang pukot nga puno sang mga isda, kay ang ila kalayuon sa baybayon mga 50 lang ka dupa. 9Sang nakatakas na sila, may nakita sila nga nagatumpok nga baga nga may ginasugba nga isda kag may tinapay man. 10Nagsiling dayon si Jesus sa ila, “Dala kamo diri sang pila ka isda nga inyo nakuha.” 11Gani nagsaka si Simon Pedro sa sakayan kag ginbutong niya pahigad ang pukot nga puno sang dalagko nga mga isda nga bali 153 ka bilog. Pero bisan pa sa kadamo sang ila nakuha, wala gid magisi ang pukot. 12Nagsiling si Jesus sa ila, “Dali kamo kag magpamahaw.” Wala gid sing bisan isa sa iya mga sumulunod nga nangisog sa pagpamangkot kon sin-o gid siya, kay nahibaluan nila nga siya amo ang Ginoo. 13Ginkuha dayon ni Jesus ang tinapay kag ginpanghatag sa ila. Amo man ang iya ginhimo sa isda. 14Ikatlo na ini ka beses nga nagpakita si Jesus sa iya mga sumulunod halin sang iya pagkabanhaw.
Si Jesus kag si Pedro
15Pagkatapos nila pamahaw, nagsiling si Jesus kay Simon Pedro, “Simon nga anak ni Juan, ginahigugma mo bala ako labaw pa sa imo mga kaupod nga ini?” Nagsabat si Pedro, “Huo, Ginoo, nahibaluan mo nga ginahigugma ko ikaw.” Nagsiling si Jesus sa iya, “Atipana ang akon mga karnero.” 16Nagsiling liwat si Jesus sa iya, “Simon nga anak ni Juan, ginahigugma mo bala ako?” Nagsabat siya liwat, “Huo, Ginoo, nahibaluan mo nga ginahigugma ko ikaw.” Nagsiling si Jesus sa iya, “Atipana ang akon mga karnero.” 17Sa ikatlo ka beses nagsiling si Jesus, “Simon nga anak ni Juan, ano, ginahigugma mo bala ako?” Nasaklaw si Pedro tungod kay katatlo na ka beses nga ginpamangkot siya ni Jesus kon ginahigugma bala niya siya. Gani nagsiling si Pedro sa iya, “Ginoo, nahibaluan mo ang tanan, kag nahibaluan mo nga ginahigugma ko ikaw.” Nagsiling si Jesus sa iya, “Atipana ang akon mga karnero. 18Sa pagkamatuod, sang bataon ka pa, ikaw mismo ang nagasuksok sang imo paha kag nagakadto sa kon diin ang imo gusto. Pero kon tigulang ka na gani, padupahon ka lang kag iban na ang magapasuksok sang paha sa imo, kag dal-on ka dayon sa lugar nga indi mo gusto kadtuan.” 19(Ginhambal ini ni Jesus agod ipahibalo sa ila kon ano nga klase sang kamatayon ang maagihan ni Pedro, kag paagi sadto nga kamatayon madayaw niya ang Dios.) Dayon nagsiling si Jesus kay Pedro, “Sunod ka sa akon.”
Ang Palangga nga Sumulunod ni Jesus
20Pagbalikid ni Pedro nakita niya nga nagasunod sa ila ang palangga nga sumulunod ni Jesus. (Siya amo ang malapit gid kay Jesus sang nagapanihapon sila, kag amo ang nagpamangkot sa Ginoo kon sin-o ang magatraidor sa iya.21:20 magatraidor sa iya: buot silingon, magatugyan sa iya sa iya mga kaaway.) 21Pagkakita ni Pedro sa iya, nagsiling siya kay Jesus, “Ti paano siya iya Ginoo?” 22Nagsiling si Jesus sa iya, “Kon gusto ko abi nga indi siya mapatay hasta sa akon pagbalik diri sa kalibutan, ti, ano ang labot mo? Basta ikaw iya magsunod sa akon.” 23Gani naglapnag ang balita sa mga utod sa Ginoo nga ang ato nga sumulunod indi mapatay. Pero wala nagsiling si Jesus nga indi siya mapatay, kundi ang iya ginsiling, “Kon gusto ko abi nga indi siya mapatay hasta sa akon pagbalik, ti, ano ang labot mo?” 24Siya amo ang sumulunod nga nagapamatuod nga matuod ang nasulat diri, kag siya mismo ang nagsulat sini. Kag nahibaluan ta nga ang iya ginasugid matuod. 25Madamo pa gid ang mga ginpanghimo ni Jesus nga kon isa-isahon sulat, siguro indi mag-igo sa bug-os nga kalibutan ang tanan nga libro nga sulatan.
Jesus and the Miraculous Catch of Fish
1Afterward Jesus appeared again to his disciples, by the Sea of Galilee.21:1 Greek Tiberias It happened this way: 2Simon Peter, Thomas (also known as Didymus21:2 Thomas (Aramaic) and Didymus (Greek) both mean twin.), Nathanael from Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two other disciples were together. 3“I’m going out to fish,” Simon Peter told them, and they said, “We’ll go with you.” So they went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing.
4Early in the morning, Jesus stood on the shore, but the disciples did not realize that it was Jesus.
5He called out to them, “Friends, haven’t you any fish?”
“No,” they answered.
6He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.
7Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” As soon as Simon Peter heard him say, “It is the Lord,” he wrapped his outer garment around him (for he had taken it off) and jumped into the water. 8The other disciples followed in the boat, towing the net full of fish, for they were not far from shore, about a hundred yards.21:8 Or about 90 meters 9When they landed, they saw a fire of burning coals there with fish on it, and some bread.
10Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish you have just caught.” 11So Simon Peter climbed back into the boat and dragged the net ashore. It was full of large fish, 153, but even with so many the net was not torn. 12Jesus said to them, “Come and have breakfast.” None of the disciples dared ask him, “Who are you?” They knew it was the Lord. 13Jesus came, took the bread and gave it to them, and did the same with the fish. 14This was now the third time Jesus appeared to his disciples after he was raised from the dead.
Jesus Reinstates Peter
15When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?”
“Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.”
Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.”
16Again Jesus said, “Simon son of John, do you love me?”
He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.”
Jesus said, “Take care of my sheep.”
17The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?”
Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.”
Jesus said, “Feed my sheep. 18Very truly I tell you, when you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you are old you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.” 19Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death by which Peter would glorify God. Then he said to him, “Follow me!”
20Peter turned and saw that the disciple whom Jesus loved was following them. (This was the one who had leaned back against Jesus at the supper and had said, “Lord, who is going to betray you?”) 21When Peter saw him, he asked, “Lord, what about him?”
22Jesus answered, “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? You must follow me.” 23Because of this, the rumor spread among the believers that this disciple would not die. But Jesus did not say that he would not die; he only said, “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you?”
24This is the disciple who testifies to these things and who wrote them down. We know that his testimony is true.
25Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.
