1Nagpadayon pa gid si Elihu sa paghambal: 2“Agwantaha pa ako sing makadali, kay may ara pa ako nga inughambal sa pagdepensa sa Dios. 3Madamo ako sang nahibaluan kag pamatud-an ko sa imo nga ang Dios nga nagtuga sa akon husto. 4Ginasiguro ko sa imo nga wala ako nagabutig, kay ako nga imo ginaatubang maalam gid.
5“Gamhanan gid ang Dios, pero wala siya sing may ginatamay. Nahibaluan niya ang tanan nga butang. 6Wala niya ginatugutan nga magkabuhi ang malaot, kag ginahatagan niya sang hustisya ang ginapigos nga mga imol. 7Wala niya ginapabay-an ang mga matarong. Ginapadunggan niya sila upod sa mga hari sa wala sing katapusan. 8Pero kon ginapigos sila, nga daw sa ginakadenahan, 9ginapahayag sang Dios ang sala nga ginhimo nila nga may pagpabugal. 10Ginapapamati niya sila sa iya nga pagpaandam, kag ginasugo niya sila nga bayaan nila ang ila kalautan. 11Kon magtuman sila kag mag-alagad sa iya, magakabuhi sila nga mainuswagon kag malipayon sa bug-os nila nga kabuhi. 12Pero kon indi sila magtuman, mapatay sila sa inaway nga kulang sing pag-intiendi. 13Ang mga indi diosnon nagahupot sang kaakig sa ila tagipusuon, kag bisan ginasilutan sila sang Dios, wala sila nagapangayo sang bulig sa iya. 14Nagakalamatay sila sa kahuy-anan36:14 sa kahuy-anan: sa literal, upod sa mga lalaki nga nagabaligya sang ila lawas sa mga templo. nga bataon pa. 15Pero paagi sa mga pag-antos, ginatudluan sang Dios ang mga tawo. Nakatuon sila nga magpamati sa iya paagi sa mga kasakit.
16“Ginalikaw ka sang Dios sa katalagman kag ginhatagan sang kahilwayan kag kabuganaan, kag mapuno liwat sang manamit nga pagkaon ang imo lamisa. 17Pero karon ginaagom mo ang silot nga nagakabagay sa mga malaot. Indi ka gid makalikaw sa hustisya. 18Mag-andam ka nga indi ka maganyat sa manggad kag madala sa madamo nga kuwarta nga bilang lagay. 19Makabulig bala ang imo manggad ukon ang imo ikasarang sa imo kalisod? 20Indi paghanduma ang kagab-ihon,36:20 kagab-ihon: siguro ang buot silingon, ang tion sang pagsilot sang Dios. ang tion nga magakalaglag ang mga nasyon. 21Mag-andam ka nga indi ka maghimo sang kalautan. Ginapaantos ka agod makalikaw ka sa paghimo sini.
22“Hunahunaa bala kon daw ano kagamhanan sang Dios. Wala sing manunudlo nga pareho sa iya. 23Wala sing may makatudlo sa iya kon ano ang iya himuon, kag wala sing may makasiling sa iya nga nakasala siya. 24Indi pagkalimti ang pagdayaw sa iya binuhatan subong sang ginahimo sang iban sa ila nga pagkanta. 25Nakita sang tanan nga tawo ang iya binuhatan, pero sa malayo-layo.36:25 sa malayo-layo: Siguro ang buot silingon nga indi nila tuman nga natungkad ukon naintiendihan. 26Gamhanan gid ang Dios, kag indi gid naton matungkad ang iya pagkagamhanan kag indi maisip kon pila na ang iya edad. 27Ang Dios amo ang nagapasaka sang tubig halin sa duta kag ginahimo niya dayon ini nga ulan. 28Nagabubo ang ulan halin sa mga panganod para sa mga tawo. 29Wala sing may nakahibalo kon paano nagalapta ang mga panganod, kag kon paano nagadaguob ang langit nga sa diin nagaestar ang Dios. 30Tan-awa kon paano niya ginapakilat sa iya palibot, kag kon paano ini nagakirab hasta sa punta sang dagat. 31Paagi sining gahom sang Dios, ginadumalahan niya ang mga nasyon kag ginahatagan sang bugana nga pagkaon ang mga tawo. 32Ginauyatan niya ang kilat kag ginasugo ini sa pag-igo sang iya iliguon. 33Ang daguob nagapahibalo sang manug-abot nga bagyo, kag bisan ang mga baka nakahibalo nga may bagyo nga manug-abot.
1Elihu also proceeded, and said, 2Suffer me a little, and I will shew thee that I have yet to speak on God’s behalf.36.2 I have…: Heb. there are yet words for God 3I will fetch my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker. 4For truly my words shall not be false: he that is perfect in knowledge is with thee.
5Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength and wisdom.36.5 wisdom: Heb. heart 6He preserveth not the life of the wicked: but giveth right to the poor.36.6 poor: or, afflicted 7He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings are they on the throne; yea, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted. 8And if they be bound in fetters, and be holden in cords of affliction; 9Then he sheweth them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded. 10He openeth also their ear to discipline, and commandeth that they return from iniquity. 11If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures. 12But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge.36.12 perish: Heb. pass away 13But the hypocrites in heart heap up wrath: they cry not when he bindeth them. 14They die in youth, and their life is among the unclean.36.14 They…: Heb. 24Remember that thou magnify his work, which men behold. 25Every man may see it; man may behold it afar off. 26Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out. 27For he maketh small the drops of water: they pour down rain according to the vapour thereof: 28Which the clouds do drop and distil upon man abundantly. 29Also can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, or the noise of his tabernacle? 30Behold, he spreadeth his light upon it, and covereth the bottom of the sea.36.30 bottom: Heb. roots 31For by them judgeth he the people; he giveth meat in abundance. 32With clouds he covereth the light; and commandeth it not to shine by the cloud that cometh betwixt. 33The noise thereof sheweth concerning it, the cattle also concerning the vapour.36.33 the vapour: Heb. that which goeth up
