1“Nagpromisa ako sa akon kaugalingon nga indi gid magtulok nga may kailigbon sa mga dalaga. 2Kay ano nga balos ang ihatag sang Makagagahom nga Dios sa langit sa ginahimo sang tawo? 3Indi bala kalaglagan kag kalalat-an para sa mga nagahimo sang kalautan? 4Nahibaluan sang Dios ang tanan ko nga ginahimo. 5Kon nagabinutig ako kag nagapangdaya, 6kabay pa nga hukman ako sang Dios. Kay siya ang nakahibalo kon nakasala ako. 7Kon wala ako magsunod sa husto nga dalan kag ginsunod ko ang kailigbon sang akon mga mata, kag gindagtaan ko ang akon kaugalingon, 8kabay pa nga magkalapierdi ang akon mga tanom ukon kaunon ini sang iban. 9Kon naganyat ako sang babayi ukon nagapangaluyag ako sa asawa sang akon kaingod, 10kabay pa nga kuhaon ukon huliran sang iban nga lalaki ang akon asawa. 11Kay ang pagpanginbabayi makahuluya nga sala, kag dapat gid nga silutan ang nagahimo sina. 12Pareho ini sa makahalalit nga kalayo nga makalaglag sang tanan ko nga pagkabutang.
13“Kon ginbaliwala ko ang kinamatarong sang akon mga suluguon sang magreklamo sila sa akon, 14ano ang himuon ko kon hukman ako sang Dios? Ano ang isabat ko kon usisaon niya ako? 15Indi bala nga ang Dios nga naghimo sa akon amo man ang naghimo sa akon mga suluguon?
16“Kon wala ako nagbulig sa mga imol kag sa mga balo nga babayi nga nalisdan, 17kag kon gindalukan ko sang pagkaon ang mga ilo, kabay pa nga silutan ako sang Dios. 18Pero halin pa sang bataon ako ginaatipan ko na ang mga ilo; sa bug-os ko nga kabuhi wala ako nagpabaya sa mga balo nga babayi. 19Kon may makita ako nga tawo nga nagaantos sa katugnaw tungod nga kulang siya sang bayo, 20ginahatagan ko siya sang bayo nga pangtugnaw nga hinimo halin sa bulbol sang akon mga karnero. Dayon nagapasalamat siya sa akon sing tinagipusuon. 21Kon ginsakit ko sang akon kamot ang ilo, tungod kay nahibaluan ko nga may impluwensya ako sa korte, 22kabay pa nga mautod ang akon butkon. 23Indi ko mahimo ina nga mga butang kay nahadlok ako sa silot kag sa gahom31:23 gahom: ukon, pagkahalangdon. sang Dios.
24“Wala ako nagsalig sa akon manggad ukon naghunahuna nga makahatag ini sa akon sang seguridad. 25Wala ako nagpabugal sa akon madamo nga manggad kag sa tanan nga pagkabutang nga naangkon ko. 26Wala ako nagsimba sa adlaw nga nagasilak sing masanag, ukon sa bulan nga nagalakat sing matahom. 27Wala man naganyat sing sekreto ang akon tagipusuon sa pagsimba sini. 28Kon matuod nga ginhimo ko ini nga mga sala dapat ako silutan, kay nagluib ako sa Dios nga ara sa langit.
29“Wala ako nagkalipay sang nalaglag ang akon mga kaaway ukon sang nag-abot sa ila ang kalisod. 30Wala ako nagpakasala paagi sa pagpakamalaot sa ila. 31Nahibaluan sang akon panimalay nga ginpakaon ko sing maayo ang mga nagbisita sa akon. 32Wala ko ginpabay-an nga magtulog ang mga dumuluong bisan diin kay permi bukas ang akon puwertahan para sa ila. 33Wala ko gintago ang akon mga sala pareho sang ginahimo sang iban. 34Wala ako naghipos-hipos lang ukon nagpakuribong tungod sa kahadlok kon ano ang isiling sang mga tawo.
35“Kon may magpamati lang kuntani sa akon! Karon, handa ako sa pagpirma sa pagpamatuod nga wala ako sing sala. Kon may iakusar ang Makagagahom nga Dios sa akon, ginapangabay ko siya nga ihambal niya sa akon, kon indi gani isulat niya. 36Kay ikabit ko ini sa akon abaga ukon ibutang sa akon ulo nga daw sa korona sa pagpakita nga handa ako sa pag-atubang sini. 37Sugiran ko ang Dios sang tanan ko nga ginahimo. Magaatubang ako sa iya pareho sa pangulo nga wala nahuya.
38“Kon ginaabusuhan ko ang akon duta ukon ginkawat ko ini sa iban,31:38 sa literal, Kon nagareklamo ang akon duta kontra sa akon kag ang gin-arado nga duta basa sang luha. 39ukon ginpalain ko ang buot sang mga nagaobra sa akon duta tungod nga ginkuha ko ang mga patubas nga wala sila pagbayari, 40kabay pa nga magtubo sa akon duta ang tunukon nga mga kahoy-kahoy kag ang mga hilamon sa baylo sang trigo kag barley.”

9If mine heart have been deceived by a woman, or if I have laid wait at my neighbour’s door; 10Then let my wife grind unto another, and let others bow down upon her. 11For this is an heinous crime; yea, it is an iniquity to be punished by the judges. 12For it is a fire that consumeth to destruction, and would root out all mine increase. 13If I did despise the cause of my manservant or of my maidservant, when they contended with me; 14What then shall I do when God riseth up? and when he visiteth, what shall I answer him? 15Did not he that made me in the womb make him? and did not one fashion us in the womb?31.15 did not one…: or, did he not fashion us in one womb?
