Panawagan sa Pagsalig sa Dios
1-2Nagsiling ang Ginoo, “Magpamati kamo sa akon, kamo nga gusto maluwas51:1-2 gusto maluwas: ukon, gusto nga mangin matarong. kag nagadangop sa akon. Dumduma ninyo si Abraham kag si Sara nga inyo mga katigulangan. Pareho sila sa bato nga sa diin gintiphag kamo ukon sa guhab nga sa diin ginkali kamo. Sang gintawag ko si Abraham, isa lang siya, pero ginbendisyunan ko siya kag ginhatagan sang madamo nga mga kaliwat.
3“Kaluoyan ko gid ang Jerusalem51:3 Jerusalem: sa Hebreo, Zion. nga naguba. Ang mga desierto sini himuon ko nga pareho sa Eden nga akon katamnan. Makita ang kalipay kag kasadya sa Jerusalem kag may pagpasalamat kag mga pagkinanta man.
4“Pamati kamo sa akon, O katawhan ko. Talupangda ninyo ako, O nasyon ko. Ihatag ko ang akon kasuguan kag magapasanag ini sa mga nasyon. 5Madali ko na lang kamo hatagan sang kadalag-an nga may pagkamatarong. Sa indi madugay luwason ko kamo. Pagadumalahan ko ang mga nasyon. Ang ara sa malayo nga mga lugar51:5 malayo nga mga lugar: ukon, mga isla; ukon, mga lugar nga malapit sa dagat. magahulat sa akon kag magalaom sang akon gahom. 6Tan-awa ninyo ang kalangitan kag ang kalibutan. Madula ang kalangitan pareho sa aso, kag magagabok ang kalibutan pareho sa panapton, kag magakalamatay ang mga pumuluyo sini pareho sa mga sapat-sapat. Pero ang kaluwasan nga ihatag ko magapadayon sa wala sing katapusan. Ang kadalag-an nga may pagkamatarong nga halin sa akon mangin inyo hasta san-o. 7Pamatii ninyo ako, kamo nga nakahibalo kon ano ang husto kag nagatuman sang akon kasuguan! Indi kamo magkahadlok sa mga pagpakahuya ukon mga pagyaguta sang mga tawo sa inyo. 8Kay mangin pareho sila sa panapton nga gin-ut-ot sang mga sapat-sapat. Pero ang kadalag-an nga may pagkamatarong nga ihatag ko magapadayon sa wala sing katapusan. Ang kaluwasan nga halin sa akon mangin inyo hasta san-o.”
9Sige na, Ginoo, buligi kami. Gamita ang imo gahom sa pagluwas sa amon. Buligi kami pareho sa imo ginhimo sang una. Indi bala ikaw ang nag-utod-utod sa dragon nga si Rahab?51:9 Rahab: Ang dako nga sapat nga nagarepresentar sang Egipto. 10Indi bala nga ikaw man ang nagpamala sang dagat sa paghimo sang alagyan sa tunga sini agod makatabok ang imo katawhan nga imo ginluwas sa Egipto? 11Magabalik sa Jerusalem51:11 Jerusalem: sa Hebreo, Zion. ang imo mga ginluwas nga nagakinanta, nga wala untat ang ila kalipay. Madula na ang ila kasubo, kag magaawas ang ila kalipay.
12Nagsabat ang Ginoo, “Ako amo ang nagapabakod kag nagapalipay sa inyo. Gani ngaa mahadlok kamo sa inyo kapareho nga tawo nga mapatay man lang pareho sa hilamon? 13Ginkalimtan na bala ninyo ako nga naghimo sa inyo? Ako ang naghumlad sang kalangitan kag nagbutang sang mga pundasyon sang kalibutan. Ngaa nagakabuhi kamo nga permi lang nahadlok sa kaakig sang mga nagapigos sa inyo kag gusto maglaglag sa inyo? Ang ila kaakig indi na makaano sa inyo. 14Sa indi madugay buy-an ang mga ginbihag sa inyo. Indi sila mapatay sa ginprisohan sa ila, kag indi sila mawad-an sang pagkaon. 15Kay ako, ang Ginoo nga inyo Dios, ang nagalabugay sang dagat kag nagapalinagumba sang mga balod. Makagagahom nga Ginoo ang akon ngalan. 16Gintudlo ko sa inyo kon ano ang akon ipahambal, kag ginaprotektaran ko kamo sang akon gahom. Ako ang nagpahamtang sang kalangitan kag ang nagbutang sang mga pundasyon sang kalibutan, kag ako ang nagsiling sa Jerusalem,51:16 Jerusalem: sa Hebreo, Zion. ‘Ikaw ang akon katawhan.’ ”
17Magbangon ka, Jerusalem! Ang kaakig sang Ginoo pareho sa ilimnon nga gin-ubos mo inom hasta nga nagduling-duling ka sa kahubog. 18Wala sing isa sa imo katawhan51:18 katawhan: sa literal, kabataan. nga magatuytoy sa imo; wala sing isa sa ila nga magabulig sa imo. 19Natabo sa imo ining duha ka kalamidad: naguba ka tungod sa inaway kag nag-antos sa kagutom ang imo katawhan. Wala sing may nabilin sa imo katawhan nga mag-uloulo kag maglipay sa imo. 20Nagkalalipong sila kag nagahamyang sa eskina sang tagsa ka dalan. Pareho sila sa usa nga nasiod sa lambat. Naaguman nila ang puwerte nga kaakig sang Ginoo; ginsabdong sila sang imo Dios.
21Gani pamatii ninyo ini, kamo nga mga nagaantos kag nagkalahubog indi tungod sang bino. 22Amo ini ang ginasiling sang Ginoo nga inyo Dios nga nagaapin sa inyo: “Pamati! Ginkuha ko na ang akon kaakig nga pareho sa ilimnon nga nakapahubog sa inyo. Indi ko na kamo pagpaimnon sini liwat. 23Ihatag ko ini sa mga nagapaantos sa inyo, nga nagsugo sa inyo nga maghapa agod tapakan nila kamo. Gintapakan nila ang inyo mga likod nga daw sa nagaagi sila sa dalan.”
1Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged. 2Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him. 3For the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.
4¶ Hearken unto me, my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation: for a law shall proceed from me, and I will make my judgment to rest for a light of the people. 5My righteousness is near; my salvation is gone forth, and mine arms shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon me, and on mine arm shall they trust. 6Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.
7¶ Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings. 8For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my salvation from generation to generation.
9¶ Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. Art thou not it that hath cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon? 10Art thou not it which hath dried the sea, the waters of the great deep; that hath made the depths of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass over? 11Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away. 12I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass; 13And forgettest the LORD thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and hast feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?51.13 were…: or, made himself ready 14The captive exile hasteneth that he may be loosed, and that he should not die in the pit, nor that his bread should fail. 15But I am the LORD thy God, that divided the sea, whose waves roared: The LORD of hosts is his name. 16And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people.
17¶ Awake, awake, stand up, O Jerusalem, which hast drunk at the hand of the LORD the cup of his fury; thou hast drunken the dregs of the cup of trembling, and wrung them out. 18There is none to guide her among all the sons whom she hath brought forth; neither is there any that taketh her by the hand of all the sons that she hath brought up. 19These two things are come unto thee; who shall be sorry for thee? desolation, and destruction, and the famine, and the sword: by whom shall I comfort thee?51.19 are…: Heb. happened51.19 destruction: Heb. breaking 20Thy sons have fainted, they lie at the head of all the streets, as a wild bull in a net: they are full of the fury of the LORD, the rebuke of thy God.
21¶ Therefore hear now this, thou afflicted, and drunken, but not with wine: 22Thus saith thy Lord the LORD, and thy God that pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it again: 23But I will put it into the hand of them that afflict thee; which have said to thy soul, Bow down, that we may go over: and thou hast laid thy body as the ground, and as the street, to them that went over.
