Salmo de David.
1Tributad al Señor, seres celestiales,29:1 seres celestiales. Lit. hijos de los dioses.
tributad al Señor la gloria y el poder.
2Tributad al Señor la gloria que merece su nombre;
postraos ante el Señor en su santuario majestuoso.
3La voz del Señor está sobre las aguas;
resuena el trueno del Dios de la gloria;
el Señor está sobre las aguas impetuosas.
4La voz del Señor resuena potente;
la voz del Señor resuena majestuosa.
5La voz del Señor desgaja los cedros,
desgaja el Señor los cedros del Líbano;
6hace que el Líbano salte como becerro,
y que el Hermón29:6 Hermón (lectura probable); Sirión (TM). salte cual toro salvaje.
7La voz del Señor lanza ráfagas de fuego;
8la voz del Señor sacude el desierto;
el Señor sacude el desierto de Cades.
9La voz del Señor retuerce los robles29:9 retuerce los robles. Alt. hace parir a la cierva.
y deja desnudos los bosques;
en su templo todos gritan: «¡Gloria!»
10El Señor tiene su trono sobre las lluvias;
el Señor reina por siempre.
11El Señor fortalece a su pueblo;
el Señor bendice a su pueblo con la paz.

1Ascribe to the Lord, you heavenly beings,
ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
2Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name;
worship the Lord in the splendor of his29:2 Or Lord with the splendor of holiness.
3The voice of the Lord is over the waters;
the God of glory thunders,
the Lord thunders over the mighty waters.
4The voice of the Lord is powerful;
the voice of the Lord is majestic.
5The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars;
the Lord breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.
6He makes Lebanon leap like a calf,
Sirion29:6 That is, Mount Hermon like a young wild ox.
7The voice of the Lord strikes
with flashes of lightning.
8The voice of the Lord shakes the desert;
the Lord shakes the Desert of Kadesh.
9The voice of the Lord twists the oaks29:9 Or Lord makes the deer give birth
and strips the forests bare.
And in his temple all cry, “Glory!”
10The Lord sits enthroned over the flood;
the Lord is enthroned as King forever.
11The Lord gives strength to his people;
the Lord blesses his people with peace.
