Salmo 138
Salmo de David.
1Señor, quiero alabarte de todo corazón,
y cantarte salmos delante de los dioses.
2Quiero inclinarme hacia tu santo templo
y alabar tu nombre por tu gran amor y fidelidad.
Porque has exaltado tu nombre y tu palabra
por encima de todas las cosas.
3Cuando te llamé, me respondiste;
me infundiste ánimo y renovaste mis fuerzas.
4Oh Señor, todos los reyes de la tierra
te alabarán al escuchar tus palabras.
5Celebrarán con cánticos tus caminos,
porque tu gloria, Señor, es grande.
6El Señor es excelso,
pero tiene en cuenta a los humildes
y mira138:6 mira. Lit. conoce. de lejos a los orgullosos.
7Aunque pase yo por grandes angustias,
tú me darás vida;
contra el furor de mis enemigos extenderás la mano:
¡tu mano derecha me pondrá a salvo!
8El Señor cumplirá en mí su propósito.138:8 El Señor … su propósito. Lit. El Señor completará en mí.
Tu gran amor, Señor, perdura para siempre;
¡no abandones la obra de tus manos!
A Psalm of David.
1I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
2I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
3In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
4All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
5Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.
6Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
7Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
8The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.
