Iluminación del santuario
24:1-3 – Éx 27:20-21
1El Señor le dijo a Moisés: 2«Manda a los israelitas que te traigan aceite puro de olivas prensadas, para la iluminación del santuario. Así las lámparas se mantendrán siempre encendidas. 3Aarón preparará las lámparas en la Tienda de reunión, fuera de la cortina del pacto, para que ardan delante del Señor toda la noche. Este será un estatuto perpetuo para las generaciones venideras. 4Las lámparas que están sobre el candelabro de oro puro se mantendrán siempre encendidas delante del Señor.
Los panes ofrecidos al Señor
5»Toma flor de harina y hornea doce tortas de pan. Cada torta debe pesar cuatro kilos.24:5 pesar cuatro kilos. Lit. tener dos décimas (de efa). 6Ponlas ante el Señor sobre la mesa de oro puro, en dos hileras de seis tortas cada una. 7En cada hilera pondrás incienso puro. Así el pan será una ofrenda memorial presentada por fuego al Señor. 8Este pan se dispondrá regularmente ante el Señor todos los sábados. Este es un pacto perpetuo de los israelitas. 9El pan les pertenece a Aarón y a sus hijos, quienes lo comerán en un lugar santo. Es una parte sumamente sagrada de las ofrendas que se presentan por fuego al Señor. Es un estatuto perpetuo».
Lapidación de un blasfemo
10Entre los israelitas vivía un hombre, hijo de madre israelita y de padre egipcio. Y sucedió que un día este hombre y un israelita iniciaron un pleito en el campamento. 11Pero el hijo de la mujer israelita, al lanzar una maldición, pronunció el nombre del Señor; así que se lo llevaron a Moisés. (El nombre de su madre era Selomit hija de Dibrí, de la tribu de Dan). 12Y lo pusieron bajo arresto hasta que el Señor les dijera qué hacer con él.
13Entonces el Señor le dijo a Moisés: 14«Saca al blasfemo fuera del campamento. Quienes lo hayan oído impondrán las manos sobre su cabeza, y toda la asamblea lo apedreará. 15Diles a los israelitas: “Todo el que blasfeme contra su Dios sufrirá las consecuencias de su pecado”. 16Además, todo el que pronuncie el nombre del Señor al maldecir a su prójimo será condenado a muerte. Toda la asamblea lo apedreará. Sea extranjero o nativo, si pronuncia el nombre del Señor al maldecir a su prójimo, será condenado a muerte.
La ley del talión
17»El que le quite la vida a otro ser humano será condenado a muerte.
18»El que le quite la vida a algún animal ajeno, reparará el daño con otro animal.
19»Al que lesione a su prójimo se le infligirá el mismo daño que haya causado: 20fractura por fractura, ojo por ojo, diente por diente. Sufrirá en carne propia el mismo daño que haya causado.
21»Todo el que mate un animal reparará el daño, pero el que mate a un hombre será condenado a muerte. 22Una sola ley regirá, tanto para el nativo como para el extranjero. Yo soy el Señor vuestro Dios».
23Moisés les comunicó todo esto a los israelitas, y ellos sacaron al blasfemo fuera del campamento, y allí lo apedrearon. Los israelitas procedieron tal como el Señor se lo ordenó a Moisés.
1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 2Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamps to burn continually.24.2 to cause: Heb. to cause to ascend 3Without the vail of the testimony, in the tabernacle of the congregation, shall Aaron order it from the evening unto the morning before the LORD continually: it shall be a statute for ever in your generations. 4He shall order the lamps upon the pure candlestick before the LORD continually.
5¶ And thou shalt take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes thereof: two tenth deals shall be in one cake. 6And thou shalt set them in two rows, six on a row, upon the pure table before the LORD. 7And thou shalt put pure frankincense upon each row, that it may be on the bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire unto the LORD. 8Every sabbath he shall set it in order before the LORD continually, being taken from the children of Israel by an everlasting covenant. 9And it shall be Aaron’s and his sons’; and they shall eat it in the holy place: for it is most holy unto him of the offerings of the LORD made by fire by a perpetual statute.
10¶ And the son of an Israelitish woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel: and this son of the Israelitish woman and a man of Israel strove together in the camp; 11And the Israelitish woman’s son blasphemed the name of the LORD, and cursed. And they brought him unto Moses: (and his mother’s name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan:) 12And they put him in ward, that the mind of the LORD might be shewed them.24.12 that…: Heb. to expound unto them according to the mouth of the LORD 13And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 14Bring forth him that hath cursed without the camp; and let all that heard him lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him. 15And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Whosoever curseth his God shall bear his sin. 16And he that blasphemeth the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name of the LORD, shall be put to death.
17¶ And he that killeth any man shall surely be put to death.24.17 killeth…: Heb. smiteth the life of a man 18And he that killeth a beast shall make it good; beast for beast.24.18 beast for…: Heb. life for life 19And if a man cause a blemish in his neighbour; as he hath done, so shall it be done to him; 20Breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as he hath caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be done to him again. 21And he that killeth a beast, he shall restore it: and he that killeth a man, he shall be put to death. 22Ye shall have one manner of law, as well for the stranger, as for one of your own country: for I am the LORD your God.
23¶ And Moses spake to the children of Israel, that they should bring forth him that had cursed out of the camp, and stone him with stones. And the children of Israel did as the LORD commanded Moses.
