1Tsono atsogoleri a mabanja a fuko la Levi anabwera kwa wansembe Eliezara, Yoswa mwana wa Nuni, ndi kwa atsogoleri a mabanja a mafuko onse a Aisraeli, 2ku Silo mʼdziko la Kanaani ndipo anati, “Yehova analamula kudzera mwa Mose kuti atipatse mizinda kuti tikhalemo, pamodzi ndi malo odyetseramo ziweto zathu.” 3Choncho, Aisraeli anapereka kwa fuko la Levi mizinda iyi pamodzi ndi malo owetera ziweto zawo kuchokera ku madera awo, monga Yehova analamulira:
4Maere oyamba anagwera mabanja a Kohati, Alevi amene anali zidzukulu za wansembe Aaroni anapatsidwa mizinda 13 kuchokera ku mafuko a Yuda, Simeoni ndi Benjamini. 5Ndipo mabanja otsala a Kohati anapatsidwa mizinda khumi kuchokera ku mafuko a Efereimu, Dani ndi theka la fuko la Manase.
6Zidzukulu za Geresoni zinapatsidwa mizinda 13 kuchokera ku mabanja a mafuko a Isakara, Aseri, Nafutali ndi theka la fuko la Manase ku Basani.
7Mabanja a Merari anapatsidwa mizinda khumi ndi iwiri kuchokera ku mafuko a Rubeni, Gadi ndi Zebuloni.
8Choncho Aisraeli anapereka kwa fuko la Levi mizindayi pamodzi ndi malo odyetserako ziweto pogwiritsa ntchito maere, monga Yehova analamula kudzera mwa Mose.
9Awa ndi mayina a mizinda ya mafuko a Yuda ndi Simeoni imene inaperekedwa kwa zidzukulu za Aaroni, 10ku banja la Kohati amene anali Alevi. Paja maere oyamba anagwera mabanja a Kohati kuti alandira mizinda.
11Anapatsidwa mzinda wa Kiriati Ariba. (Paja Ariba ndiye kholo la Anaaki). Dzina lina la mzindawu ndi Hebroni, ndipo unali mʼdziko la mapiri la Yuda. Pamodzi ndi mzindawu anapatsidwanso mabusa ake onse ozungulira. 12Komabe minda ndi midzi yozungulira mizindayi inali itaperekedwa kale kwa Kalebe, mwana wa Yefune kuti ikhale cholowa chake.
13Choncho zidzukulu za Aaroni wansembe, zinapatsidwa Hebroni (mzinda wopulumukirako amene wapha munthu), Libina, 14Yatiri, Esitemowa, 15Holoni, Debri, 16Aini, Yuta, ndi Beti-Semesi pamodzi ndi mabusa odyetseramo ziweto ozungulira mizindayi. Yonse pamodzi inali mizinda isanu ndi inayi yochokera ku mafuko awiriwa.
17Fuko la Benjamini linapereka Gibiyoni, Geba, 18Anatoti ndi Alimoni, pamodzi ndi mabusa odyetsera ziweto ozungulira mizindayi. Yonse pamodzi inali mizinda inayi.
19Choncho mizinda 13 pamodzi ndi malo odyetsera ziweto anapatsidwa kwa ansembe, zidzukulu za Aaroni.
20Mabanja ena otsalira a Kohati a fuko la Levi anapatsidwa mizinda iyi kuchokera ku fuko la Efereimu:
21Mizinda ya Sekemu ndi Gezeri ndiye inali mizinda wopulumukirako munthu aliyense wopha mnzake mwangozi. Mizindayi inali ku mapiri a Efereimu. 22Analandiranso mizinda ya Gezeri, Kibuzaimu, Beti-Horoni pamodzi ndi malo odyetsera ziweto ozungulira mizindayi. Yonse pamodzi inali mizinda inayi.
23Fuko la Dani linapereka mizinda ya Eliteke, Gibetoni, 24Ayaloni, Gati-Rimoni pamodzi ndi mabusa odyetsera ziweto ozungulira mizindayi. Yonse pamodzi inali mizinda inayi.
25Kuchokera ku theka la fuko la Manase analandira Taanaki ndi Gati-Rimoni pamodzi ndi malo awo owetera ziweto, mizinda iwiri.
26Mizinda khumi yonseyi pamodzi ndi malo odyetsera ziweto, zinapatsidwa ku mabanja ena onse a Akohati.
27Mabanja a Ageresoni a fuko la Levi anapatsidwa mizinda iwiri
kuchokera ku theka la Manase wa kummawa,
Golani ku Basani (mzinda wopulumukirako amene wapha munthu mwangozi) ndi Beesitera, pamodzi ndi malo awo odyetserako ziweto.
28Fuko la Isakara linapereka mizinda ya
Kisoni, Daberati, 29Yarimuti ndi Eni Ganimu, pamodzi ndi malo awo odyetsera ziweto. Yonse pamodzi inali mizinda inayi.
30Fuko la Aseri linapereka mizinda ya
Misali, Abidoni, 31Helikati ndi Rehobu pamodzi ndi malo awo odyetsera ziweto. Yonse pamodzi inali mizinda inayi.
32Fuko la Nafutali linapereka mizinda ya

analandira mzinda wa Ramoti ku Giliyadi. Mzinda umene unali wopulumukiramo munthu wopha mnzake mwangozi. 39Analandiranso mizinda ya Mahanaimu, Hesiboni, Yazeri pamodzi ndi malo odyetserako ziweto ozungulira mizinda yonseyi. Yonse pamodzi inali mizindayi anayi.
40Choncho mabanja onse a Merari, amene anali otsala a fuko la Levi analandira mizinda khumi ndi iwiri pogwiritsa ntchito maere.
41Motero mizinda 48 ya mʼdziko limene Aisraeli analanda inapatsidwa kwa Alevi, kuphatikizapo malo ake odyetsera ziweto. 42Iliyonse mwa mizindayi inali ndi malo owetera ziweto oyizungulira.
43Motero Yehova anapereka kwa Israeli dziko limene analumbira kulipereka kwa makolo awo. Atalilandira anadzakhalamo. 44Yehova anawapatsa mtendere mʼdziko lonse monga momwe analonjezera makolo awo. Palibe ndi mmodzi yemwe mwa adani awo amene anatha kuwagonjetsa chifukwa Yehova anapereka adani awo onse mʼmanja mwawo. 45Yehova anakwaniritsa zonse zimene analonjeza kwa Aisraeli.
1Then came near the heads of the fathers of the Levites unto Eleazar the priest, and unto Joshua the son of Nun, and unto the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel; 2And they spake unto them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, The LORD commanded by the hand of Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with the suburbs thereof for our cattle. 3And the children of Israel gave unto the Levites out of their inheritance, at the commandment of the LORD, these cities and their suburbs. 4And the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites: and the children of Aaron the priest, which were of the Levites, had by lot out of the tribe of Judah, and out of the tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe of Benjamin, thirteen cities. 5And the rest of the children of Kohath had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half tribe of Manasseh, ten cities. 6And the children of Gershon had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities. 7The children of Merari by their families had out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities. 8And the children of Israel gave by lot unto the Levites these cities with their suburbs, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.
9¶ And they gave out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, these cities which are here mentioned by name,21.9 mentioned: Heb. called 10Which the children of Aaron, being of the families of the Kohathites, who were of the children of Levi, had: for theirs was the first lot. 11And they gave them the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron, in the hill country of Judah, with the suburbs thereof round about it.21.11 the city…: or, Kirjath-arba 12But the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, gave they to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for his possession.
13¶ Thus they gave to the children of Aaron the priest Hebron with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Libnah with her suburbs, 14And Jattir with her suburbs, and Eshtemoa with her suburbs, 15And Holon with her suburbs, and Debir with her suburbs,21.15 Holon: also called, Hilen 16And Ain with her suburbs, and Juttah with her suburbs, and Beth-shemesh with her suburbs; nine cities out of those two tribes.21.16 Ain: also called, Ashan 17And out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon with her suburbs, Geba with her suburbs,21.17 Geba: also called, Gaba 18Anathoth with her suburbs, and Almon with her suburbs; four cities.21.18 Almon: also called, Alemeth 19All the cities of the children of Aaron, the priests, were thirteen cities with their suburbs.
20¶ And the families of the children of Kohath, the Levites which remained of the children of Kohath, even they had the cities of their lot out of the tribe of Ephraim. 21For they gave them Shechem with her suburbs in mount Ephraim, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Gezer with her suburbs, 22And Kibzaim with her suburbs, and Beth-horon with her suburbs; four cities. 23And out of the tribe of Dan, Eltekeh with her suburbs, Gibbethon with her suburbs, 24Aijalon with her suburbs, Gath-rimmon with her suburbs; four cities. 25And out of the half tribe of Manasseh, Tanach with her suburbs, and Gath-rimmon with her suburbs; two cities. 26All the cities were ten with their suburbs for the families of the children of Kohath that remained.
27¶ And unto the children of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, out of the other half tribe of Manasseh they gave Golan in Bashan with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Beesh-terah with her suburbs; two cities. 28And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishon with her suburbs, Dabareh with her suburbs, 29Jarmuth with her suburbs, En-gannim with her suburbs; four cities. 30And out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal with her suburbs, Abdon with her suburbs, 31Helkath with her suburbs, and Rehob with her suburbs; four cities. 32And out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Hammoth-dor with her suburbs, and Kartan with her suburbs; three cities. 33All the cities of the Gershonites according to their families were thirteen cities with their suburbs.
34¶ And unto the families of the children of Merari, the rest of the Levites, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Jokneam with her suburbs, and Kartah with her suburbs, 35Dimnah with her suburbs, Nahalal with her suburbs; four cities. 36And out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer with her suburbs, and Jahazah with her suburbs, 37Kedemoth with her suburbs, and Mephaath with her suburbs; four cities. 38And out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Mahanaim with her suburbs, 39Heshbon with her suburbs, Jazer with her suburbs; four cities in all. 40So all the cities for the children of Merari by their families, which were remaining of the families of the Levites, were by their lot twelve cities. 41All the cities of the Levites within the possession of the children of Israel were forty and eight cities with their suburbs. 42These cities were every one with their suburbs round about them: thus were all these cities.
43¶ And the LORD gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein. 44And the LORD gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand. 45There failed not ought of any good thing which the LORD had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.
