1Tamandani Yehova.
Nʼkwabwino kwambiri kuyimba nyimbo zamatamando kwa Mulungu wathu,
nʼkokondweretsa ndi koyenera kumutamanda!
2Yehova akumanga Yerusalemu;
Iye akusonkhanitsa amʼndende a Israeli.
3Akutsogolera anthu osweka mtima
ndi kumanga mabala awo.
4Amadziwa chiwerengero cha nyenyezi,
ndipo iliyonse amayitchula dzina.
5Yehova ndi wamkulu ndi wamphamvu kwambiri;
nzeru zake zilibe malire.
6Yehova amagwiriziza anthu odzichepetsa,
koma amagwetsa pansi anthu oyipa.
7Imbirani Yehova ndi mayamiko;
imbani nyimbo kwa Mulungu ndi pangwe.
8Iye amaphimba mlengalenga ndi mitambo;
amapereka mvula ku dziko lapansi
ndi kumeretsa udzu mʼmapiri.
9Iye amapereka chakudya kwa ngʼombe
ndi kwa ana a makwangwala pamene akulira chakudya.
10Chikondwerero chake sichili mʼmphamvu za kavalo,
kapena mʼmiyendo ya anthu amphamvu.
11Yehova amakondwera ndi amene amamuopa,
amene chiyembekezo chawo chili mʼchikondi chake chosasinthika.
12Lemekeza Yehova, iwe Yerusalemu;
tamanda Mulungu wako, iwe Ziyoni,
13pakuti Iye amalimbitsa mipiringidzo ya zipata zako
ndi kudalitsa anthu ako mwa iwe.
14Iye amabweretsa mtendere mʼmalire mwako
ndi kukukhutitsa ndi ufa wa tirigu wosalala.
15Iyeyo amapereka lamulo pa dziko lapansi;
mawu ake amayenda mwaliwiro.
16Amagwetsa chisanu ngati ubweya
ndi kumwaza chipale ngati phulusa.
17Amagwetsa matalala ngati miyala.
Kodi ndani angathe kupirira kuzizira kwake?
18Amatumiza mawu ake ndipo chisanucho chimasungunuka;
amawombetsa mphepo ndipo madzi amayenda.
19Iye anawulula mawu ake kwa Yakobo,
malamulo ake ndi zophunzitsa zake kwa Israeli.
20Sanachitepo zimenezi kwa mtundu wina uliwonse wa anthu;
anthu enawo sadziwa malamulo ake.

Psalm 147
1Praise the Lord.147:1 Hebrew Hallelu Yah; also in verse 20
How good it is to sing praises to our God,
how pleasant and fitting to praise him!
2The Lord builds up Jerusalem;
he gathers the exiles of Israel.
3He heals the broken-hearted
and binds up their wounds.
4He determines the number of the stars
and calls them each by name.
5Great is our Lord and mighty in power;
his understanding has no limit.
6The Lord sustains the humble
but casts the wicked to the ground.
7Sing to the Lord with grateful praise;
make music to our God on the harp.
8He covers the sky with clouds;
he supplies the earth with rain
and makes grass grow on the hills.
9He provides food for the cattle
and for the young ravens when they call.
10His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse,
nor his delight in the legs of the warrior;
11the Lord delights in those who fear him,
who put their hope in his unfailing love.
12Extol the Lord, Jerusalem;
praise your God, Zion.
13He strengthens the bars of your gates
and blesses your people within you.
14He grants peace to your borders
and satisfies you with the finest of wheat.
15He sends his command to the earth;
his word runs swiftly.
16He spreads the snow like wool
and scatters the frost like ashes.
17He hurls down hail like pebbles.
Who can withstand his icy blast?
18He sends his word and melts them;
he stirs up his breezes, and the waters flow.
19He has revealed his word to Jacob,
his laws and decrees to Israel.
20He has done this for no other nation;
