金燈臺和橄欖樹
1那位與我說話的天使又來喚醒我，像喚醒睡覺的人一樣。 2他問我：「你看見了什麼？」
我說：「我看見一個純金的燈臺，上面有一個油碗，燈臺上有七盞燈，每盞燈有七個燈芯。 3燈臺旁邊有兩棵橄欖樹，左右各一棵。」 4我問與我說話的天使：「主啊，這是什麼意思？」 5他說：「你不知道嗎？」我說：「主啊，我不知道。」
6他對我說：「這是耶和華對所羅巴伯講的話。萬軍之耶和華說，『不靠權勢，不靠才能，乃靠我的靈。 7大山啊，你算什麼？你必在所羅巴伯面前化為平地。他必搬出那塊封殿頂的石頭，伴隨著歡呼聲——願恩典、恩典歸於這殿！』」
8耶和華的話又傳給了我，說： 9「所羅巴伯的手奠立這殿的根基，他的手也必完成這項工程。那時你便知道是萬軍之耶和華差遣我到你們這裡來的。 10誰敢藐視這微不足道的日子？人們看見所羅巴伯手中拿著線錘時，就必歡喜。
「這七盞燈是耶和華遍察天下的眼睛。」
11我又問天使：「燈臺左右的兩棵橄欖樹是什麼意思？」 12然後我又問道：「流出橄欖油的兩個金管旁邊的兩根橄欖枝是什麼意思？」 13他說：「你不知道嗎？」我說：「主啊，我不知道。」 14他說：「這是侍立在天下之主旁邊的兩位受膏者。」
1And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep, 2And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:4.2 a bowl: Heb. her bowl4.2 seven pipes…: or, seven several pipes to the lamps 3And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof. 4So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord? 5Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. 6Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.4.6 might: or, army 7Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it. 8Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 9The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you. 10For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.4.10 for they…: or, since the seven eyes of the LORD shall rejoice4.10 plummet: Heb. stone of tin
