1我是保羅，我作使徒並非受人委派，也不是倚靠人，而是由耶穌基督和叫祂從死裡復活的父上帝委派的。 2我和所有跟我在一起的弟兄寫信給加拉太的各教會。
3願我們的父上帝和主耶穌基督賜給你們恩典和平安！ 4基督遵照我們父上帝的旨意為我們的罪獻上了自己，好拯救我們脫離這罪惡的世代。
5願榮耀歸給上帝，直到永永遠遠。阿們！
勿隨別的福音
6我很驚訝，你們竟然那麼快就背棄了藉著基督的恩典呼召你們的上帝，去追隨別的福音！ 7其實那並不是福音，只是某些人擾亂你們的信仰，想篡改基督的福音。 8即便是我們或天使，若另傳福音給你們，與我們以前傳給你們的相悖，也該受咒詛。 9我們已經說過，現在我再說一次：如果有人向你們傳別的福音，跟你們以前接受的不同，那人該受咒詛。
10我現在是要贏得人的贊同嗎？還是要贏得上帝的贊同？難道我是要討好人嗎？如果我仍舊要討好人，我就不是基督的奴僕了。
保羅受上帝委派傳福音
11弟兄姊妹，我告訴你們，我傳的福音不是出於人的意思， 12因為這福音既不是我從人那裡領受的，也不是我跟人學來的，而是耶穌基督親自啟示我的。 13你們都聽說過我信奉猶太教時的所作所為，我怎樣殘酷地迫害上帝的教會，試圖摧毀它。 14我在猶太教裡比許多同輩的猶太人更進取，狂熱地維護祖先的傳統。
15然而，當我還在母腹中的時候，上帝就施恩將我分別出來並呼召了我。 16上帝既然樂意把祂的兒子啟示給我，叫我向外族人傳揚祂的福音，我就沒有跟任何人1·16 「人」希臘文是「血肉」。商量， 17也沒有上耶路撒冷去見那些比我先作使徒的人，而是立刻去了阿拉伯，然後回到大馬士革。
18過了三年，我才到耶路撒冷去拜會彼得，和他一起住了十五天。 19我也見了主耶穌的弟弟雅各，此外沒有見過其他使徒。 20我在上帝面前保證，我寫給你們的絕無謊言。
21後來我又到了敘利亞和基利迦地區。 22那時，猶太境內基督的眾教會都還沒有見過我的面。 23他們只是聽人說：「那個從前迫害我們的人如今在傳揚他曾試圖摧毀的信仰。」 24於是他們因為我的緣故將榮耀歸給上帝。
1Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;) 2And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia: 3Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, 4Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: 5To whom be glory for ever and ever. 6I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: 7Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
10For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. 11But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. 12For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. 13For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews’ religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it: 14And profited in the Jews’ religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers. 15But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace, 16To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: 17Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus. 18Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days. 19But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord’s brother. 20Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not. 21Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia; 22And was unknown by face unto the churches of Judaea which were in Christ: 23But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed. 24And they glorified God in me.
