1Если человек согрешит, промолчав, когда его приведут к присяге, чтобы свидетельствовать о том, что он видел или знал, – он подлежит наказанию.
2Если человек прикоснётся к нечистому: к трупам нечистых диких зверей, или нечистого скота, или нечистых пресмыкающихся – даже если он не заметит этого, – он станет нечистым и будет виновен.
3Если он прикоснётся к человеческой нечистоте – любой нечистоте, которая его осквернит, – даже если он не заметит этого, то когда поймёт, он будет виновен.
4Если человек произносит опрометчивую клятву сделать что-либо хорошее или злое – о чём только можно безрассудно поклясться, – то даже если он не осознаёт этого, когда поймёт, он будет виновен.
5Если кто-то виновен в этом, то пусть открыто признает, в чём согрешил, 6и в расплату за свой грех приведёт к Вечному для жертвы за грех овцу или козу из своей отары. Тогда священнослужитель очистит его от греха.
7Если ему не по средствам принести овцу, то пусть принесёт Вечному двух горлиц или двух молодых голубей как расплату за свой грех – одного в жертву за грех, а другого в жертву всесожжения. 8Пусть он отдаст их священнослужителю, который сначала принесёт жертву за грех. Он свернёт птице голову, не отрывая её до конца, 9и окропит кровью жертвы за грех сторону жертвенника. Остальную кровь нужно выцедить к основанию жертвенника. Это жертва за грех. 10Потом священнослужитель принесёт другую птицу в жертву всесожжения, как велит обычай, и очистит того человека от греха, который он совершил, и он будет прощён.
11Если ему не по средствам принести двух горлиц или двух молодых голубей, то он должен принести за свой проступок полтора килограмма5:11 Букв.: «одну десятую ефы», также в 6:20. лучшей муки в жертву за грех. Пусть он не льёт на муку масло и не кладёт сверху благовония, ведь это жертва за грех. 12Пусть он принесёт её к священнослужителю, который возьмёт из неё пригоршню как памятную часть и сожжёт на жертвеннике вместе с огненными жертвами Вечному. Это жертва за грех. 13Так священнослужитель очистит его от любого греха, который он совершил, и он будет прощён. Остаток жертвы принадлежит священнослужителю, как в случае с хлебным приношением».
Жертва повинности
14Вечный сказал Мусо:
15– Если человек совершит проступок, согрешив по неведению против какой-либо из святынь Вечного, то он должен привести к Вечному в расплату барана из отары без изъяна, имеющего соответствующую стоимость в серебре, по установленной мере святилища5:15 Букв.: «в серебряных шекелях, шекелях святилища». Шекель святилища – стандартная мера, которой пользовались священнослужители шатра и храма.. Это жертва повинности. 16Он должен возместить за святыню, против которой согрешил, добавить к этому пятую часть её стоимости и отдать священнослужителю, который очистит его от греха, принеся барана в жертву повинности, и он будет прощён.
17Если человек согрешит и сделает то, что запрещено в каком-либо из повелений Вечного, – даже если он не знает этого, – то он виновен и подлежит наказанию. 18Он должен привести к священнослужителю барана из отары, соответствующей стоимости и без изъяна, для жертвы повинности. Тогда священнослужитель совершит для него очищение за проступок, который он совершил по неведению, и он будет прощён. 19Это жертва повинности – человек провинился перед Вечным.
1And if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and is a witness, whether he hath seen or known of it; if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity. 2Or if a soul touch any unclean thing, whether it be a carcase of an unclean beast, or a carcase of unclean cattle, or the carcase of unclean creeping things, and if it be hidden from him; he also shall be unclean, and guilty. 3Or if he touch the uncleanness of man, whatsoever uncleanness it be that a man shall be defiled withal, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty. 4Or if a soul swear, pronouncing with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatsoever it be that a man shall pronounce with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty in one of these. 5And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing: 6And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD for his sin which he hath sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a kid of the goats, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin.

11¶ But if he be not able to bring two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he that sinned shall bring for his offering the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering; he shall put no oil upon it, neither shall he put any frankincense thereon: for it is a sin offering. 12Then shall he bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it, even a memorial thereof, and burn it on the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: it is a sin offering. 13And the priest shall make an atonement for him as touching his sin that he hath sinned in one of these, and it shall be forgiven him: and the remnant shall be the priest’s, as a meat offering.
14¶ And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 15If a soul commit a trespass, and sin through ignorance, in the holy things of the LORD; then he shall bring for his trespass unto the LORD a ram without blemish out of the flocks, with thy estimation by shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering: 16And he shall make amends for the harm that he hath done in the holy thing, and shall add the fifth part thereto, and give it unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering, and it shall be forgiven him.
17¶ And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the LORD; though he wist it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity. 18And he shall bring a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy estimation, for a trespass offering, unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his ignorance wherein he erred and wist it not, and it shall be forgiven him. 19It is a trespass offering: he hath certainly trespassed against the LORD.
