1Я вновь поднял глаза и вижу: передо мной четыре колесницы, выезжающие из ущелья между двумя медными горами. 2Первую колесницу тащили рыжие кони, вторую – вороные, 3третью – белые, а четвёртую – пегие; все они – кони сильные.
4Я спросил Ангела, Который говорил со мной:
– Что это значит, мой Господин?
5Ангел ответил мне:
– Это четыре небесных духа6:5 Или: «ветра»., которые выходят от Владыки всей земли. 6Тот, у которого вороные кони, направляется в северный край, тот, у которого белые кони, – на запад6:6 Букв.: «за ними»., а тот, у которого пегие, – на юг.
7Сильные кони вышли, и им не терпелось пройти по земле дозором.
Тогда Он сказал:
– Ступайте, пройдите по земле дозором!
И они пошли. 8А Он воскликнул:
– Смотри, те, кто отправился в северный край, погасили Мой гнев на северную страну.
Венец для Иешуа
9Было ко мне слово Вечного:
10– Собери серебро и золото у Хелдая, Тобии и Иедаи, которые пришли из Вавилонского плена, и ступай в тот же день в дом Иосии, сына Софонии. 11Возьми серебро и золото, сделай венец и возложи его на голову главного священнослужителя Иешуа, сына Иехоцадака. 12Передай ему слова Вечного, Повелителя Сил: «Вот человек по имени Ветвь6:12 Ветвь – см. сноску на 3:8.: Он прорастёт из Своего места и построит храм Вечного. 13Это Он построит храм Вечного, это Он облачится в великолепие, и воссядет, и будет править со Своего престола. Он также станет священнослужителем на престоле, и одно не будет противоречить другому6:13 Или: «У его престола будет стоять священнослужитель, и между ними будет согласие».. 14А венец будет вверен заботам Хелдая6:14 Букв.: «Хелема»; но см. ст. 10., Тобии, Иедаи и Иосии6:14 Букв.: «Хена», что переводится как «милостивый», но см. ст. 10., сына Софонии, как памятный знак в храме Вечного. 15Те, кто издалека придут, будут помогать строить храм Вечного, и вы узнаете, что Вечный, Повелитель Сил, послал Меня к вам. Это всё случится, если вы будете во всём слушаться Вечного, вашего Бога».
Four chariots
1I looked up again, and there before me were four chariots coming out from between two mountains – mountains of bronze. 2The first chariot had red horses, the second black, 3the third white, and the fourth dappled – all of them powerful. 4I asked the angel who was speaking to me, ‘What are these, my lord?’
5The angel answered me, ‘These are the four spirits6:5 Or winds of heaven, going out from standing in the presence of the Lord of the whole world. 6The one with the black horses is going towards the north country, the one with the white horses towards the west,6:6 Or horses after them and the one with the dappled horses towards the south.’
7When the powerful horses went out, they were straining to go throughout the earth. And he said, ‘Go throughout the earth!’ So they went throughout the earth.
8Then he called to me, ‘Look, those going towards the north country have given my Spirit6:8 Or spirit rest in the land of the north.’
A crown for Joshua
9The word of the Lord came to me: 10‘Take silver and gold from the exiles Heldai, Tobijah and Jedaiah, who have arrived from Babylon. Go the same day to the house of Josiah son of Zephaniah. 11Take the silver and gold and make a crown, and set it on the head of the high priest, Joshua son of Jozadak.6:11 Hebrew Jehozadak, a variant of Jozadak 12Tell him this is what the Lord Almighty says: “Here is the man whose name is the Branch, and he will branch out from his place and build the temple of the Lord. 13It is he who will build the temple of the Lord, and he will be clothed with majesty and will sit and rule on his throne. And he6:13 Or there will be a priest on his throne. And there will be harmony between the two.” 14The crown will be given to Heldai,6:14 Syriac; Hebrew Helem Tobijah, Jedaiah and Hen6:14 Or and the gracious one, the son of Zephaniah as a memorial in the temple of the Lord. 15Those who are far away will come and help to build the temple of the Lord, and you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to you. This will happen if you diligently obey the Lord your God.’
