Хурам – бронзовых дел мастер
13Царь Сулейман пригласил и принял Хурама из Тира, 14сына вдовы из рода Неффалима. Его отцом был тирянин, бронзовых дел мастер. Хурам был очень искусен и имел большой навык во всех видах работы с бронзой. Он пришёл к царю Сулейману и сделал всю работу, которая была ему поручена.
Две бронзовые колонны
(2 Лет. 3:15-17)
15Хурам отлил две бронзовые колонны. Одна из них была девять метров высотой, и шнур длиной в шесть метров7:15 Букв.: «восемнадцать… двенадцать локтей». обвивал её по окружности. Вторая колонна была такой же. 16Ещё он сделал две капители колонн из литой бронзы, чтобы поставить их на колоннах. Бронзовый бассейн
(2 Лет. 4:2-5)
23Хурам вылил из бронзы большой круглый бассейн, названный «морем», который был пяти метров в диаметре, двух с половиной метров высотой и пятнадцати метров7:23 Букв.: «десять… пять… тридцать локтей». в окружности. 24Снизу его окружали два ряда подобия тыкв – по десять на каждые полметра7:24 Букв.: «на локоть».. Тыквы были отлиты с бассейном одним литьём.
25Бассейн стоял на двенадцати быках, три из которых смотрели на север, три на запад, три на юг и три на восток. Бассейн покоился на них, а их зады были обращены внутрь, к центру. 26Его стенки были восемь сантиметров толщиной, а его край был как край чаши, как цветок лилии. Бронзовые подставки
27Ещё Хурам сделал десять передвижных подставок из бронзы.
