Давуд становится царём всего Исраила
(1 Лет. 11:1-3)
1Все роды Исраила пришли к Давуду в Хеврон и сказали:
– Мы – твоя плоть и кровь. 2Даже прежде, когда нашим царём был Шаул, ты водил исраильтян в бой. И Вечный сказал тебе: «Ты будешь пасти Мой народ Исраил и станешь его правителем».
3Когда все старейшины Исраила пришли к царю Давуду в Хеврон, он заключил с ними в Хевроне соглашение перед Вечным, и они помазали Давуда в цари над Исраилом.
4Давуду было тридцать лет, когда он стал царём, и правил он сорок лет. 5В Хевроне он правил Иудеей семь лет и шесть месяцев, а в Иерусалиме он правил всем Исраилом и Иудеей тридцать три года.
Давуд захватывает Иерусалим
(1 Лет. 11:4-9; 14:1-2)
6Царь со своими людьми пошёл на Иерусалим против живших там иевусеев. Иевусеи сказали Давуду:
– Ты не войдёшь сюда, тебя отгонят даже слепые и хромые.
Они думали: «Давуд не сможет войти сюда». 7Но Давуд захватил крепость Сион, что ныне Город Давуда.
8В тот день Давуд сказал:
– Пусть всякий разящий иевусеев проберётся к этим «хромым и слепым», которых ненавидит Давуд5:8 Или: «которые ненавидят Давуда»., через водопроводный туннель.
(Поэтому и говорится: «Слепой и хромой не войдут в дом».)
9Давуд обосновался в крепости и назвал её Городом Давуда. Он обстроил её кругом от Милло5:9 Милло – с языка оригинала переводится как «насыпь». Возможно, что это были какие-то городские укрепления. и внутри. 10Давуд становился всё сильнее и сильнее, потому что с ним был Вечный, Бог Сил.
11Хирам, царь Тира, отправил к Давуду послов, кедровые брёвна, а также плотников и каменщиков, которые построили Давуду дворец. 12И Давуд понял, что Вечный утвердил его царём над Исраилом и вознёс его царство ради Своего народа Исраила.
Другие сыновья Давуда
(1 Лет. 3:5-8; 14:3-7)
13Покинув Хеврон, Давуд взял себе в Иерусалиме ещё наложниц и жён, и у него родились ещё сыновья и дочери. 14Вот имена детей, которые родились у него в Иерусалиме: Шаммуа, Шовав, Нафан, Сулейман, 15Ивхар, Элишуа, Нефег, Иафия, 16Элишама, Элиада и Элифелет.
Поражения филистимлян
(1 Лет. 14:8-17)
17Услышав о том, что Давуд помазан в цари над Исраилом, все филистимляне отправились искать его, но Давуд узнал об этом и спустился в крепость. 18Филистимляне пришли и расположились в долине Рефаим.
19И Давуд спросил Вечного:
– Идти ли мне на филистимлян? Отдашь ли Ты их мне?
Вечный ответил ему:
– Иди, Я непременно отдам филистимлян в твои руки.
20Давуд пошёл к Баал-Перациму и разбил их там. Он сказал:
– Как вода прорывает запруду, так и Вечный разбил моих врагов.
(Поэтому то место и было названо Баал-Перацим («господин прорыва»).)
21Филистимляне бросили там своих идолов, а Давуд и его люди унесли их.
22И снова филистимляне пришли и расположились в долине Рефаим. 23Давуд спросил Вечного, и Тот ответил:
– Не нападай на них отсюда, но обойди их с тыла и напади на них со стороны бальзамовых деревьев. 24Как только ты услышишь в вершинах бальзамовых деревьев шум, как от шагов, тотчас же выступай – это будет значить, что Вечный пошёл перед тобой, чтобы разбить войско филистимлян.
25Давуд сделал так, как повелел ему Вечный, и разил филистимлян всю дорогу от Гаваона до Гезера.
1Then came all the tribes of Israel to David unto Hebron, and spake, saying, Behold, we are thy bone and thy flesh. 2Also in time past, when Saul was king over us, thou wast he that leddest out and broughtest in Israel: and the LORD said to thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be a captain over Israel. 3So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and king David made a league with them in Hebron before the LORD: and they anointed David king over Israel.
4¶ David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years. 5In Hebron he reigned over Judah seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years over all Israel and Judah.
6¶ And the king and his men went to Jerusalem unto the Jebusites, the inhabitants of the land: which spake unto David, saying, Except thou take away the blind and the lame, thou shalt not come in hither: thinking, David cannot come in hither.5.6 thinking…: or, saying David shall not, etc 7Nevertheless David took the strong hold of Zion: the same is the city of David. 8And David said on that day, Whosoever getteth up to the gutter, and smiteth the Jebusites, and the lame and the blind, that are hated of David’s soul, he shall be chief and captain. Wherefore they said, The blind and the lame shall not come into the house.5.8 Wherefore…: or, Because they had said, even the blind and the lame, He shall not 9So David dwelt in the fort, and called it the city of David. And David built round about from Millo and inward. 10And David went on, and grew great, and the LORD God of hosts was with him.5.10 went…: Heb. went, going and growing
11¶ And Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and cedar trees, and carpenters, and masons: and they built David an house.5.11 masons: Heb. hewers of the stone of the wall 12And David perceived that the LORD had established him king over Israel, and that he had exalted his kingdom for his people Israel’s sake.
13¶ And David took him more concubines and wives out of Jerusalem, after he was come from Hebron: and there were yet sons and daughters born to David. 14And these be the names of those that were born unto him in Jerusalem; Shammua, and Shobab, and Nathan, and Solomon, 15Ibhar also, and Elishua, and Nepheg, and Japhia, 16And Elishama, and Eliada, and Eliphalet.
17¶ But when the Philistines heard that they had anointed David king over Israel, all the Philistines came up to seek David; and David heard of it, and went down to the hold. 18The Philistines also came and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim. 19And David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up to the Philistines? wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And the LORD said unto David, Go up: for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines into thine hand. 20And David came to Baal-perazim, and David smote them there, and said, The LORD hath broken forth upon mine enemies before me, as the breach of waters. Therefore he called the name of that place Baal-perazim.5.20 Baal-perazim: that is, the plain of breaches 21And there they left their images, and David and his men burned them.5.21 burned…: or, took them away
22¶ And the Philistines came up yet again, and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim. 23And when David enquired of the LORD, he said, Thou shalt not go up; but fetch a compass behind them, and come upon them over against the mulberry trees. 24And let it be, when thou hearest the sound of a going in the tops of the mulberry trees, that then thou shalt bestir thyself: for then shall the LORD go out before thee, to smite the host of the Philistines. 25And David did so, as the LORD had commanded him; and smote the Philistines from Geba until thou come to Gazer.5.25 Geba: also called, Gibeon
