Раздел земли
1– Вот имена родов. На севере будет надел у Дана; его граница протянется по Хетлонской дороге до Лево-Хамата и далее до Хацар-Енана, что на границе с Дамаском, на севере от Хамата. Всё это – надел Дана с востока на запад.
2Надел Ашира будет граничить с владениями Дана с востока на запад.
3Надел Неффалима будет граничить с владениями Ашира с востока на запад.
4Надел Манассы будет граничить с владениями Неффалима с востока на запад.
5Надел Ефраима будет граничить с владениями Манассы с востока на запад.
6Надел Рувима будет граничить с владениями Ефраима с востока на запад.
7Надел Иуды будет граничить с владениями Рувима с востока на запад.
8На границе с владениями Иуды с востока на запад будет особый участок в двенадцать с половиной километров48:8 Букв.: «двадцать пять тысяч локтей»; также в ст. 9, 10, 13, 15, 20 и 21. в ширину, равный по длине с востока на запад родовому наделу. Посреди него будет святилище.
9Особый участок для Вечного будет составлять двенадцать с половиной километров в длину и пять48:9 Букв.: «десять тысяч локтей»; также в ст. 10, 13 и 18. в ширину. 10Это будет священный участок для священнослужителей. Он будет двенадцать с половиной километров в длину на северной стороне, пять километров в ширину на западной, пять – на восточной и двенадцать с половиной километров в длину на южной. Посреди него будет святилище Вечного. 11Надел будет принадлежать посвящённым священнослужителям из потомков Цадока, которые верно служили Мне и не отступили, как левиты с прочими исраильтянами. 12Он будет принадлежать им, как особая земля из священного надела, великая святыня на границе с участком левитов.
13Рядом с землёй священнослужителей левиты получат надел в двенадцать с половиной километров в длину и пять – в ширину. Вся его длина будет составлять двенадцать с половиной километров, а ширина – пять. 14Они не должны ни продавать его, ни обменивать. Это лучший надел в стране. Он не должен переходить в другие руки, ведь это святыня Вечного.
15Остальная земля, два с половиной километра48:15 Букв.: «пять тысяч локтей». в ширину и двенадцать с половиной километров в длину, будет для обычных нужд города, для домов и для пастбищ. Посреди неё будет город, 16северная, южная, восточная и западная стороны которого будут по два километра с четвертью48:16 Букв.: «четыре тысячи пятьсот локтей»; также в ст. 30, 32-34.. 17Городские пастбища будут длиною по сто двадцать пять метров48:17 Букв.: «двести пятьдесят локтей». на севере, юге, востоке и западе. 18Остаток этого надела, который граничит со священным участком и прилегает к нему по длине, составит пять километров с восточной стороны и пять километров с западной. Плодами этой земли будут кормиться люди, работающие в городе. 19Городские работники, которые станут возделывать его, будут из всех родов Исраила. 20Участок будет квадратным, двенадцать с половиной километров с каждой стороны. Он будет отделён для особого использования вместе с городским владением.
21То, что останется с обеих сторон области, составленной священным участком и городским владением, будет принадлежать вождю. Его земля протянется на восток на двенадцать с половиной километров от священного участка к восточной границе, и на запад – на двенадцать с половиной километров к западной. Обе эти области, равные по длине родовым наделам, будут принадлежать вождю. Посреди них будет священный участок со святилищем храма. 22Так владения левитов и города будут находиться посреди владений вождя. Владения вождя будут находиться между границами наделов Иуды и Вениамина.
23Что до прочих родов, то надел Вениамина будет простираться с востока на запад.
24Надел Шимона будет граничить с владениями Вениамина с востока на запад.
25Надел Иссахара будет граничить с владениями Шимона с востока на запад.
26Надел Завулона будет граничить с владениями Иссахара с востока на запад.
27Надел Гада будет граничить с владениями Завулона с востока на запад.
28Южная граница надела Гада протянется от Тамара к водам Меривы-Кадеша, а оттуда по руслу речки на границе Египта к Средиземному морю.
29Такова земля, где вы должны отмерять наделы во владение родам Исраила, – возвещает Владыка Вечный.
Ворота Иерусалима
30– Вот выходы из города: на северной стороне, что составляет в длину два километра с четвертью, 31будет трое ворот: ворота Рувима, Иуды и Леви. (Ворота города называются по родам Исраила.)
32На восточной стороне, что в длину два километра с четвертью, будет трое ворот: ворота Юсуфа, Вениамина и Дана.
33На южной стороне, что в длину два километра с четвертью, будет трое ворот: ворота Шимона, Иссахара и Завулона.
34На западной стороне, что в длину два километра с четвертью, будет трое ворот: ворота Гада, Ашира и Неффалима.
35Общая длина стены – девять километров48:35 Букв.: «восемнадцать тысяч локтей»..
Отныне этот город будет назван:
ВЕЧНЫЙ ТАМ.
The Land Will Be Divided Up
1“Here are the tribes. They are listed by their names.
“Dan will receive one share of land. It will be at the northern border of Israel. The border will follow the Hethlon road to Lebo Hamath. Hazar Enan will be part of the border. So will the northern border of Damascus next to Hamath. Dan’s northern border will run from east to west.
2Asher will receive one share. It will border the territory of Dan from east to west.
3Naphtali will receive one share. It will border the territory of Asher from east to west.
4Manasseh will receive one share. It will border the territory of Naphtali from east to west.
5Ephraim will receive one share. It will border the territory of Manasseh from east to west.
6Reuben will receive one share. It will border the territory of Ephraim from east to west.
7Judah will receive one share. It will border the territory of Reuben from east to west.
8“You must give one share as a special gift to me. It will border the territory of Judah from east to west. It will be eight miles wide. It will be as long as the border of each of the territories of the tribes. Its border will run from east to west. The temple will be in the center of that strip of land.
9“Give that special share of land to me. It will be eight miles long and three and a third miles wide. 10It will be the sacred share of land for the priests. It will be eight miles long on the north side. It will be three and a third miles wide on the west side. It will be three and a third miles wide on the east side. And it will be eight miles long on the south side. My temple will be in the center of it. 11This share of land will be for the priests who are set apart to me. They will come from the family line of Zadok. The members of that family served me faithfully. They did not go astray as the Levites and other Israelites did. 12Their share of land will be a special gift to them. It will be part of the sacred share of the land. It will be very holy. Its border will run along the territory of the Levites.
13“The Levites will receive a share. It will be next to the territory of the priests. The Levites’ share will be eight miles long and three and a third miles wide. 14They must not sell or trade any of it. It is the best part of the land. It must not be handed over to anyone else. It is set apart to me.
15“The area that remains is one and two-thirds miles wide. It is eight miles long. It will not be holy. The people in Jerusalem can build houses there. They can use some of it as grasslands. The city will be in the center of it. 16Each of the four sides of the city will be one and a half miles long. 17Each of the four sides of the city’s grasslands will be 440 feet long. 18What remains of the area will be three and a third miles long on the east and west sides. Its border will run along the border of the sacred share. Its crops will supply food for the city workers. 19They will farm the area. They will come from all the tribes of Israel. 20The entire area will be a square. Each of its four sides will be eight miles long. Set the sacred share apart as a special gift to me. Do the same thing with the property of the city.
21“The area that remains on both sides will belong to the prince. So his land does not include the sacred share and the property of the city. The eastern part of his land will reach from the sacred share all the way to the eastern border. The western part will reach from the sacred share to the western border. The sacred share itself is eight miles long on its east and west sides. Both of those areas will be right next to the borders of the two tribes on the north and south sides. They will belong to the prince. The sacred share will be in the center of them. It will have the temple in it. 22The property of the Levites will lie in the center of the prince’s share. So will the property of the city. The prince’s land will lie between the borders of the tribes of Judah and Benjamin.
23“Here is the land for the rest of the tribes.
“Benjamin will receive one share. It will reach from the eastern border to the western border.
24Simeon will receive one share. It will border the territory of Benjamin from east to west.
25Issachar will receive one share. It will border the territory of Simeon from east to west.
26Zebulun will receive one share. It will border the territory of Issachar from east to west.
27Gad will receive one share. It will border the territory of Zebulun from east to west.
28The southern border of Gad will run south from Tamar to the waters of Meribah Kadesh. It will continue along the Wadi of Egypt. It will end at the Mediterranean Sea.
29“This is the land you must divide among the tribes of Israel. And these will be the shares they will receive,” announces the Lord and King.
The Gates of the New City
30“Here is a list of the gates of the city.
“Start with its north side. It will be a mile and a half long. 31The city gates will be named after the tribes of Israel. The north side will have three gates. They will be the gates of Reuben, Judah and Levi.
32The east side will be a mile and a half long. It will have three gates. They will be the gates of Joseph, Benjamin and Dan.
33The south side will be a mile and a half long. It will have three gates. They will be the gates of Simeon, Issachar and Zebulun.
34The west side will be a mile and a half long. It will have three gates. They will be the gates of Gad, Asher and Naphtali.
35“The city will be six miles around.
“From that time on, its name will be ‘The Lord Is There.’ ”
