1Было ко мне слово Вечного:
2– Смертный, укажи Иерусалиму на его омерзительные дела 3и скажи: Так говорит Владыка Вечный деве Иерусалиму: «Твои корни и кровные узы – в земле Ханаана; твой отец был аморрей, а мать хеттеянка16:3 До прихода исраильтян Иерусалим был во владении иевусеев, ханаанского народа (см. 2 Цар. 5:6-9). Аммореи и хеты – народы, обитавшие в Ханаане ещё до завоевания его исраильтянами.. 4В день, когда ты родилась, твоя пуповина не была перерезана, тебя не омыли водой, чтобы очистить, не посолили солью16:4 Подобные обычаи, как, например, мыть новорождённого в солёной воде, активно практикуются на Востоке и по сей день. и не завернули в пелёнки. 5Никто не взглянул на тебя с жалостью, чтобы из сострадания к тебе сделать что-нибудь из этого. Нет, тебя бросили в открытом поле, потому что в день, когда ты родилась, тебя гнушались.
6Я проходил мимо и увидел, как ты бьёшься в крови, и сказал тебе, лежащей в крови: „Живи!“ Да, Я сказал тебе, лежащей в крови: „Живи!“ 7Я взрастил тебя, как растение в поле. Ты выросла, стала высокой и достигла превосходной красоты; у тебя поднялись груди и выросли волосы, но ты оставалась нагой и непокрытой.
8Я снова проходил мимо и посмотрел на тебя: ты достигла возраста любви. Я простёр над тобой край Своей одежды и покрыл твою наготу. Я поклялся тебе и заключил с тобой брачный союз, – возвещает Владыка Вечный, – и ты стала Моей.
9Я омыл тебя водой, смыл с тебя кровь и помазал тебя благовонным маслом. 10Я одел тебя в расшитое платье и обул в сандалии из лучшей кожи; Я облёк тебя в тонкий лён и покрыл драгоценным шёлком. 11Я украсил тебя драгоценностями: на запястья твои надел браслеты, на шею – ожерелье, 12в нос вдел кольцо, в уши – серьги, а на голову возложил прекрасный венец. 13Ты украсилась золотом и серебром, а одежды твои были из тонкого льна, драгоценного шёлка и расшитой ткани. Ты питалась хлебом из лучшей муки, мёдом и оливковым маслом. Ты стала великолепной и обрела величие царицы. 14Слава о твоей красоте распространилась среди народов, ведь она была совершенной из-за великолепия, которым Я тебя наделил, – возвещает Владыка Вечный.
15Но ты понадеялась на свою красоту и, пользуясь славой, стала блудницей. Ты отдавалась всякому, кто проходил мимо. 16Ты взяла часть своих одежд, чтобы сделать разноцветные капища на возвышенностях, и распутничала там; никогда не бывало подобного этому, и впредь не будет. 17Ты взяла прекрасные драгоценности, которые Я тебе дал, драгоценности из Моего золота и серебра, сделала себе мужские изображения и распутничала с ними. 18Ты взяла свои расшитые одежды, чтобы одеть их в них, и ставила перед ними Моё оливковое масло и благовония. 19И пищу, что Я дал тебе, – лучшую муку, оливковое масло и мёд, которыми Я кормил тебя, – ты приносила своим идолам как отрадное благоухание. Вот как всё было, – возвещает Владыка Вечный.
20Ты брала своих сыновей и дочерей, которых родила Мне, и приносила их в жертву, на съедение идолам16:20 Дети приносились в жертву в долине Гинном, недалеко от Иерусалима. Это было строго запрещено Законом Аллаха (см. Лев. 18:21; Втор. 12:31; 18:10; 4 Цар. 17:17).. Разве не достаточно было твоего распутства? 21Ты убивала Моих детей и приносила их в огненную жертву идолам. 22При своих омерзительных обычаях и распутстве ты не вспоминала о днях своей юности, когда ты, нагая, непокрытая, билась в крови.
23Горе! Горе тебе, – возвещает Владыка Вечный. – После всех твоих прочих злодейств 24ты сделала у себя насыпь и построила капища на каждой площади. 25В начале каждой улицы ты построила капища и бесчестила свою красоту, раздвигая свои ноги для всякого прохожего и становясь всё более распутной. 26Ты распутничала с египтянами16:26 Под распутством с Египтом подразумевается проегипетская политика, которую Иудея вела с 609 г. до н. э. В стихах 28 и 29 говорится о том же в отношениях с Ассирией и Вавилоном., твоими похотливыми соседями, и вызывала Мой гнев, становясь всё более распутной. 27И вот Я поднял на тебя руку и уменьшил определённую тебе землю; Я предал тебя в распоряжение твоих врагов, дочерей филистимских, которые устыдились твоего непристойного поведения. 28Ты распутничала и с ассирийцами, потому что была ненасытна, и всё-таки не утолила своей похоти. 29Ты умножала своё распутство и с Вавилонией, землёй купцов, но и тогда не познала утоления.
30Как истомилось твоё сердце, – возвещает Владыка Вечный, – когда ты всё это делала, поступая как бесстыдная блудница! 31Когда ты делала насыпи в начале каждой улицы и строила капища на каждой площади, ты не была похожа на блудницу, потому что отвергала плату.
32Ты – жена-изменница! Ты предпочитаешь чужаков мужу! 33Любая блудница берёт плату, а ты сама делала подарки любовникам, подкупая их, чтобы они приходили отовсюду переспать с тобой. 34В распутстве своём ты была непохожа на других женщин: никто не выпрашивал у тебя ласк; ты сама давала плату, а тебе никто не платил; этим ты была непохожа на них».
35Поэтому, блудница, слушай слово Вечного! 36Так говорит Владыка Вечный: «За то, что ты была похотлива16:36 Или: «сыпала деньгами». и открывала свою наготу, предаваясь распутству с любовниками, за твоих омерзительных идолов, и за то, что ты давала им кровь своих детей, 37Я соберу твоих любовников, с которыми ты наслаждалась, тех, кого ты любила, вместе с теми, кого ты ненавидела. Я соберу их против тебя отовсюду, обнажу тебя перед ними, и они увидят твою наготу. 38Я определю тебе наказание, как женщинам, которые изменяют и проливают кровь; в ярости и ревности Я приговорю тебя к смерти. 39Я отдам тебя твоим любовникам, и они уничтожат твои насыпи и разрушат капища на возвышенностях. Они сорвут с тебя одежды и отнимут твои прекрасные драгоценности, оставив тебя обнажённой и непокрытой. 40Они соберут против тебя толпу, которая побьёт тебя камнями и рассечёт на куски мечами. 41Они сожгут дотла твои дома и совершат над тобой суд на глазах у многих женщин. Я положу конец твоему распутству, и ты не будешь больше платить любовникам. 42После этого Моя ярость против тебя утихнет, и ревнивый гнев отвратится от тебя; Я успокоюсь и больше не буду гневаться.
43Так как ты не вспоминала о днях своей юности, но вызывала Мой гнев всем этим, Я непременно обрушу тебе на голову то, что ты наделала, – возвещает Владыка Вечный. – Разве ты не прибавила разврата к прочим твоим мерзостям?
44Вот всякий, кто говорит притчами, скажет о тебе такую: „Какова мать, такова и дочь“. 45Ты – настоящая дочь своей матери, которая отвергла мужа и детей; ты – настоящая сестра своих сестёр, которые отвергли мужей и детей. Твоя мать была хеттеянка, а отец – аморрей. 46Твоя старшая сестра – Самария, которая жила к северу от тебя со своими дочерьми; а твоя младшая сестра – Содом, жившая со своими дочерьми к югу от тебя. 47Ты не только шла по их путям и перенимала их омерзительные обычаи, но во всех своих путях ты скоро превзошла всех их. 48Верно, как и то, что Я живу, – возвещает Владыка Вечный, – твоя сестра Содом и её дочери не творили того, что творила ты и твои дочери.
49Вот в чём был грех Содома, твоей сестры: она и её дочери были надменны, пресыщены и равнодушны; они не помогали нищим и беднякам. 50Они были высокомерны и творили предо Мной омерзительные дела. Поэтому, увидев это, Я и погубил их. 51Самария не совершила и половины твоих грехов. Ты превзошла их мерзостями, и по сравнению с тем, что натворила ты, твои сёстры кажутся праведными. 52Неси свой позор, ведь ты предоставила некоторое оправдание для сестёр. Так как твои грехи были отвратительнее их грехов, сёстры кажутся праведнее тебя. Красней от стыда и неси свой позор, ведь рядом с тобой сёстры твои кажутся праведными.
53Но Я верну благополучие Содому и её дочерям, а также Самарии и её дочерям и вместе с ними верну благополучие и тебе, 54чтобы тебе нести свой позор и краснеть от стыда за всё, что ты натворила, служа для них утешением. 55А твои сёстры, Содом и Самария со своими дочерьми, вернутся в своё прежнее состояние, и ты со своими дочерьми вернёшься в своё прежнее состояние. 56Разве твоя сестра Содом не была притчей у тебя на устах в день твоей гордости, 57до того, как раскрылось твоё бесчестие? А теперь ты служишь посмешищем для дочерей Сирии16:57 Или: «Эдома». и всех их соседей и для дочерей филистимских – всех вокруг, кто презирает тебя. 58Неси наказание за свой разврат и свои мерзости», – возвещает Вечный.
59Так говорит Владыка Вечный: «Я поступлю с тобой так, как ты того заслуживаешь, потому что ты пренебрегла Моей клятвой, нарушив священное соглашение. 60И всё-таки Я вспомню то соглашение, которое Я заключил с тобой в дни твоей юности, и установлю с тобою вечное соглашение. 61И ты вспомнишь свои пути и устыдишься, когда станешь принимать к себе своих сестёр, и старших, и младших. Я дам их тебе как дочерей, но не из-за Моего священного соглашения с тобой. 62Я восстановлю Своё священное соглашение с тобой, и ты узнаешь, что Я – Вечный, 63чтобы, когда Я прощу тебе всё, что ты натворила, ты помнила и краснела от стыда, и чтобы впредь ты рта не могла раскрыть от позора», – возвещает Владыка Вечный.
1Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 2Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations, 3And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto Jerusalem; Thy birth and thy nativity is of the land of Canaan; thy father was an Amorite, and thy mother an Hittite.16.3 birth: Heb. cutting out, or, habitation 4And as for thy nativity, in the day thou wast born thy navel was not cut, neither wast thou washed in water to supple thee; thou wast not salted at all, nor swaddled at all.16.4 to supple…: or, when I looked upon thee 5None eye pitied thee, to do any of these unto thee, to have compassion upon thee; but thou wast cast out in the open field, to the lothing of thy person, in the day that thou wast born.
6¶ And when I passed by thee, and saw thee polluted in thine own blood, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live; yea, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live.16.6 polluted: or, trodden under foot 7I have caused thee to multiply as the bud of the field, and thou hast increased and waxen great, and thou art come to excellent ornaments: thy breasts are fashioned, and thine hair is grown, whereas thou wast naked and bare.16.7 caused…: Heb. made thee a million16.7 excellent…: Heb. ornament of ornaments 8Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord GOD, and thou becamest mine. 9Then washed I thee with water; yea, I throughly washed away thy blood from thee, and I anointed thee with oil.16.9 blood: Heb. bloods 10I clothed thee also with broidered work, and shod thee with badgers’ skin, and I girded thee about with fine linen, and I covered thee with silk. 11I decked thee also with ornaments, and I put bracelets upon thy hands, and a chain on thy neck. 12And I put a jewel on thy forehead, and earrings in thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thine head.16.12 forehead: Heb. nose 13Thus wast thou decked with gold and silver; and thy raiment was of fine linen, and silk, and broidered work; thou didst eat fine flour, and honey, and oil: and thou wast exceeding beautiful, and thou didst prosper into a kingdom. 14And thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty: for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD.
15¶ But thou didst trust in thine own beauty, and playedst the harlot because of thy renown, and pouredst out thy fornications on every one that passed by; his it was. 16And of thy garments thou didst take, and deckedst thy high places with divers colours, and playedst the harlot thereupon: the like things shall not come, neither shall it be so. 17Thou hast also taken thy fair jewels of my gold and of my silver, which I had given thee, and madest to thyself images of men, and didst commit whoredom with them,16.17 of men: Heb. of a male 18And tookest thy broidered garments, and coveredst them: and thou hast set mine oil and mine incense before them. 19My meat also which I gave thee, fine flour, and oil, and honey, wherewith I fed thee, thou hast even set it before them for a sweet savour: and thus it was, saith the Lord GOD.16.19 a sweet…: Heb. a savour of rest 20Moreover thou hast taken thy sons and thy daughters, whom thou hast borne unto me, and these hast thou sacrificed unto them to be devoured. Is this of thy whoredoms a small matter,16.20 to be…: Heb. to devour 21That thou hast slain my children, and delivered them to cause them to pass through the fire for them? 22And in all thine abominations and thy whoredoms thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, when thou wast naked and bare, and wast polluted in thy blood. 23And it came to pass after all thy wickedness, (woe, woe unto thee! saith the Lord GOD;) 24That thou hast also built unto thee an eminent place, and hast made thee an high place in every street.16.24 eminent…: or, brothel house 25Thou hast built thy high place at every head of the way, and hast made thy beauty to be abhorred, and hast opened thy feet to every one that passed by, and multiplied thy whoredoms. 26Thou hast also committed fornication with the Egyptians thy neighbours, great of flesh; and hast increased thy whoredoms, to provoke me to anger. 27Behold, therefore I have stretched out my hand over thee, and have diminished thine ordinary food, and delivered thee unto the will of them that hate thee, the daughters of the Philistines, which are ashamed of thy lewd way.16.27 daughters: or, cities 28Thou hast played the whore also with the Assyrians, because thou wast unsatiable; yea, thou hast played the harlot with them, and yet couldest not be satisfied. 29Thou hast moreover multiplied thy fornication in the land of Canaan unto Chaldea; and yet thou wast not satisfied herewith. 30How weak is thine heart, saith the Lord GOD, seeing thou doest all these things, the work of an imperious whorish woman; 31In that thou buildest thine eminent place in the head of every way, and makest thine high place in every street; and hast not been as an harlot, in that thou scornest hire;16.31 In that thou buildest…: or, In thy daughters is thine, etc 32But as a wife that committeth adultery, which taketh strangers instead of her husband! 33They give gifts to all whores: but thou givest thy gifts to all thy lovers, and hirest them, that they may come unto thee on every side for thy whoredom.16.33 hirest: Heb. bribest 34And the contrary is in thee from other women in thy whoredoms, whereas none followeth thee to commit whoredoms: and in that thou givest a reward, and no reward is given unto thee, therefore thou art contrary.
35¶ Wherefore, O harlot, hear the word of the LORD: 36Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thy filthiness was poured out, and thy nakedness discovered through thy whoredoms with thy lovers, and with all the idols of thy abominations, and by the blood of thy children, which thou didst give unto them; 37Behold, therefore I will gather all thy lovers, with whom thou hast taken pleasure, and all them that thou hast loved, with all them that thou hast hated; I will even gather them round about against thee, and will discover thy nakedness unto them, that they may see all thy nakedness. 38And I will judge thee, as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I will give thee blood in fury and jealousy.16.38 as: Heb. with judgments of 39And I will also give thee into their hand, and they shall throw down thine eminent place, and shall break down thy high places: they shall strip thee also of thy clothes, and shall take thy fair jewels, and leave thee naked and bare.16.39 thy fair…: Heb. instruments of thine ornament 40They shall also bring up a company against thee, and they shall stone thee with stones, and thrust thee through with their swords. 41And they shall burn thine houses with fire, and execute judgments upon thee in the sight of many women: and I will cause thee to cease from playing the harlot, and thou also shalt give no hire any more. 42So will I make my fury toward thee to rest, and my jealousy shall depart from thee, and I will be quiet, and will be no more angry. 43Because thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, but hast fretted me in all these things; behold, therefore I also will recompense thy way upon thine head, saith the Lord GOD: and thou shalt not commit this lewdness above all thine abominations.
44¶ Behold, every one that useth proverbs shall use this proverb against thee, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter. 45Thou art thy mother’s daughter, that lotheth her husband and her children; and thou art the sister of thy sisters, which lothed their husbands and their children: your mother was an Hittite, and your father an Amorite. 46And thine elder sister is Samaria, she and her daughters that dwell at thy left hand: and thy younger sister, that dwelleth at thy right hand, is Sodom and her daughters.16.46 thy younger: Heb. lesser than thou 47Yet hast thou not walked after their ways, nor done after their abominations: but, as if that were a very little thing, thou wast corrupted more than they in all thy ways.16.47 as if…: or, that was lothed as a small thing 48As I live, saith the Lord GOD, Sodom thy sister hath not done, she nor her daughters, as thou hast done, thou and thy daughters. 49Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. 50And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good. 51Neither hath Samaria committed half of thy sins; but thou hast multiplied thine abominations more than they, and hast justified thy sisters in all thine abominations which thou hast done. 52Thou also, which hast judged thy sisters, bear thine own shame for thy sins that thou hast committed more abominable than they: they are more righteous than thou: yea, be thou confounded also, and bear thy shame, in that thou hast justified thy sisters. 53When I shall bring again their captivity, the captivity of Sodom and her daughters, and the captivity of Samaria and her daughters, then will I bring again the captivity of thy captives in the midst of them: 54That thou mayest bear thine own shame, and mayest be confounded in all that thou hast done, in that thou art a comfort unto them. 55When thy sisters, Sodom and her daughters, shall return to their former estate, and Samaria and her daughters shall return to their former estate, then thou and thy daughters shall return to your former estate. 56For thy sister Sodom was not mentioned by thy mouth in the day of thy pride,16.56 mentioned: Heb. for a report, or, hearing16.56 pride: Heb. prides, or, excellencies 57Before thy wickedness was discovered, as at the time of thy reproach of the daughters of Syria, and all that are round about her, the daughters of the Philistines, which despise thee round about.16.57 Syria: Heb. Aram16.57 despise: or, spoil 58Thou hast borne thy lewdness and thine abominations, saith the LORD.16.58 borne: Heb. borne them 59For thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even deal with thee as thou hast done, which hast despised the oath in breaking the covenant.
60¶ Nevertheless I will remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant. 61Then thou shalt remember thy ways, and be ashamed, when thou shalt receive thy sisters, thine elder and thy younger: and I will give them unto thee for daughters, but not by thy covenant. 62And I will establish my covenant with thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD: 63That thou mayest remember, and be confounded, and never open thy mouth any more because of thy shame, when I am pacified toward thee for all that thou hast done, saith the Lord GOD.
