Список возвратившихся из плена

1Вот те вернувшиеся из плена жители провинции, которых увёл в Вавилон Навуходоносор, царь вавилонский (они вернулись в Иерусалим и Иудею, каждый в свой город, 2вместе с Зоровавелем, Иешуа, Неемией, Сераей, Реелаей, Мардохеем, Билшаном, Миспаром, Бигваем, Рехумом и Бааной).

59Вот те, кто пришёл из городов Тель-Мелаха, Тель-Харши, Керува, Аддана и Иммера, но не смог доказать, что их семьи ведут свой род от Исраила:

61А из священнослужителей:

потомки Хобаи, Аккоца и Барзиллая (человека, который женился на дочери галаадитянина Барзиллая и стал называться этим именем).

62Они искали свои родословия, но не смогли их найти и поэтому были исключены из священства, как ритуально нечистые. 63Наместник приказал им не есть от великой святыни2:63 Великая святыня – жертва, принесённая для Всевышнего, и только священнослужитель и члены его семьи имели право употреблять в пищу мясо жертвенного животного (см. Лев. 22:10)., пока не появится священнослужитель, который сможет воспользоваться священным жребием2:63 Букв.: «урим («свет») и туммим («совершенство»)». С помощью этих предметов определяли волю Всевышнего, но как именно, сегодня не известно..

64Всё собрание насчитывало 42 360 человек, 65помимо 7 337 их слуг и служанок; при них были также 200 певцов и певиц. 66У них было 736 лошадей, 245 мулов, 67435 верблюдов и 6 720 ослов.

68Когда они прибыли к дому Вечного, что в Иерусалиме, некоторые из глав семейств стали добровольно жертвовать на дом Всевышнего, чтобы отстроить его на прежнем месте. 69По своим возможностям они дали на это дело в сокровищницу 61 000 золотых монет, 3 000 килограммов2:69 Букв.: «61 000 золотых драхм, 5 000 мин». серебра и 100 одеяний священнослужителей.

70Священнослужители, левиты, часть народа, певцы, привратники и храмовые слуги поселились в своих городах близ Иерусалима, и весь остальной народ Исраила поселился в своих городах.

The List of the Exiles Who Returned

1Now these are the people of the province who came up from the captivity of the exiles, whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had taken captive to Babylon (they returned to Jerusalem and Judah, each to their own town, 2in company with Zerubbabel, Joshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum and Baanah):

59The following came up from the towns of Tel Melah, Tel Harsha, Kerub, Addon and Immer, but they could not show that their families were descended from Israel:

60The descendants ofDelaiah, Tobiah and Nekoda652

61And from among the priests:

The descendants ofHobaiah, Hakkoz and Barzillai (a man who had married a daughter of Barzillai the Gileadite and was called by that name).

62These searched for their family records, but they could not find them and so were excluded from the priesthood as unclean. 63The governor ordered them not to eat any of the most sacred food until there was a priest ministering with the Urim and Thummim.

64The whole company numbered 42,360, 65besides their 7,337 male and female slaves; and they also had 200 male and female singers. 66They had 736 horses, 245 mules, 67435 camels and 6,720 donkeys.

68When they arrived at the house of the Lord in Jerusalem, some of the heads of the families gave freewill offerings toward the rebuilding of the house of God on its site. 69According to their ability they gave to the treasury for this work 61,000 darics2:69 That is, about 1,100 pounds or about 500 kilograms of gold, 5,000 minas2:69 That is, about 3 tons or about 2.8 metric tons of silver and 100 priestly garments.

70The priests, the Levites, the musicians, the gatekeepers and the temple servants settled in their own towns, along with some of the other people, and the rest of the Israelites settled in their towns.
