Lad Herrens pris lyde fra himlen.
Lovsyng ham, I, der hører hjemme i det høje.
2Pris ham, I engle,
lad den himmelske hærskare lovsynge ham.
3Pris ham, sol og måne,
lovsyng ham, alle I blinkende stjerner.
4Pris ham, I højeste himle,
lovsyng ham, I vande højt over skyerne.
5I skal alle prise Herren,
for I er skabt på hans befaling.
6Han gav jer hver jeres faste plads
ved en befaling, som ikke kan trækkes tilbage.
7Lad Herrens pris lyde fra jorden,
lovsyng ham, alle I havets skabninger.
8Pris ham, lyn og hagl, sne og tåge,
lovsyng ham, I vinde, der udfører hans befalinger.
9Pris ham, I bjerge og bakker,
lovsyng ham, I frugttræer og cederskove.
10Pris ham, både rovdyr og husdyr,
lovsyng ham, I krybdyr og fugle.
11Pris ham, I jordens konger,
lovsyng ham, alle I fyrster og ledere.
12Pris ham, I unge mænd og unge piger,
lovsyng ham, både I børn og I ældre.
13I skal alle prise Herren, for han er større end alt andet.
Han har al magten i himlen og på jorden.
14Han har ført sit folk frem til sejr,
han har givet sine tjenere grund til glæde,
det er Israel, som står hans hjerte nær.

11Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:
12Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:
13Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.148.13 excellent: Heb. exalted
14He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the LORD.
