Salmo 9898:0 Salmo 98 Ang ulohan sa Hebreo: Usa ka awit.
Dayega ang Dios nga Maghuhukom
1Mag-awit kita ug bag-ong awit sa Ginoo,
kay naghimo siyag katingalahang mga butang!
Pinaagi sa iyang kaugalingong gahom ug kusog gipildi niya ang atong mga kaaway.
2Gipakita sa Ginoo sa mga nasod nga gitabangan niya kita ug gipadaog.
3Wala niya kalimti ang iyang gugma ug pagkamatinumanon kanato nga katawhan sa Israel.
Nakita sa tanang mga tawo sa tibuok kalibotan98:3 tibuok kalibotan: sa literal, kinatumyan sa kalibotan. kon giunsa kita pagluwas sa atong Dios.
4Kamong mga katawhan sa tibuok kalibotan, panghugyaw kamo ngadto sa Ginoo tungod sa kalipay.
Pag-awit kamo nga malipayon sa pagdayeg kaniya.
5-6Pag-awit kamo ug mga pagdayeg sa Ginoo nga dinuyogan sa mga harpa, mga trumpeta, ug mga budyong.
Ug panghugyaw kamo sa kalipay sa presensya sa Ginoo nga atong Hari.
7Ingna nga maglipay ang kalibotan ug ang tanang nagapuyo niini,
apil na ang dagat ug ang tanang anaa niini.
8Daw mga tawo nga mopakpak ang mga suba,
ug magdungan sa pag-awit sa kalipay ang mga bungtod.
9Ingna sila nga maglipay sa presensya sa Ginoo
kay moanhi siya sa paghukom sa mga tawo sa kalibotan.
Hukman niya sila uban sa katarong ug kaangayan.
A Psalm.
1O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.
2The LORD hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.98.2 openly…: or, revealed
3He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
4Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.
5Sing unto the LORD with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.
6With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King.
7Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.98.7 the fulness…: or, all it containeth
8Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together
9Before the LORD; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.
