Ang Pagkabanhaw si Jesus
(Mar. 16:1-10; Luc. 24:1-12; Juan 20:1-10)

5Miingon ang anghel ngadto sa mga babaye, “Ayaw kamo kahadlok. Nahibalo ako kon nganong mianhi kamo dinhi. Gusto ninyong tan-awon si Jesus, ang gilansang sa krus. 6Wala na siya dinhi tungod kay nabanhaw siya sumala sa iyang giingon kaninyo. Dali kamo dinhi, tan-awa ninyo ang gibutangan kaniya.” 7Human niadto miingon ang anghel kanila, “Adtoi ninyo ang iyang mga tinun-an, ug sultihi ninyo sila nga nabanhaw siya. Miuna siya kaninyo didto sa Galilea. Didto ninyo siya makita. Ayaw ninyo kalimti kining akong gisulti kaninyo.” 8Busa nagdali sila pagbiya sa lubnganan. Nahadlok sila apan nalipay gayod sa mao nga balita, ug nanagan sila aron sultihan ang iyang mga tinun-an.
9Unya sa kalit lang misugat si Jesus ug mitimbaya kanila. Miduol dayon sila kang Jesus ug miluhod kaniya. Gigakos nila ang tiil ni Jesus ug misimba sila kaniya. 10Miingon si Jesus kanila, “Ayaw kamo kahadlok. Adtoi ninyo ang akong mga igsoon ug sultihi ninyo sila nga moadto sa Galilea. Didto makita ako nila.”
Ang Gisugilon sa mga Guwardya
11Sa paggikan sa mga babaye sa lubnganan, ang uban nga mga guwardya nanglakaw usab ug miadto sa siyudad ug gisugilon nila sa kadagkoan sa mga pari ang tanan nga nahitabo didto sa lubnganan. 12Busa nagtigom ang kadagkoan sa mga pari uban ang mga pangulo sa mga Judio. Nagkauyon sila nga hatagan nila ug daghan nga kuwarta ang mga sundalo aron dili sila mosulti kon unsa gayod ang tinuod nga nahitabo. 13Gitudloan nila ang mga sundalo kon unsa ang ilang isulti sa mga tawo. Miingon sila, “Sultihi ninyo ang mga tawo nga samtang nangatulog kamo kagabii, miabot ang iyang mga tinun-an ug gikuha nila ang patayng lawas ni Jesus. 14Kon madunggan kini sa gobernador kami na ang maantigo nga mopasabot kaniya aron walay daota nga mahitabo kaninyo.” 15Busa gidawat nila ang kuwarta ug gituman nila ang giingon kanila. Busa hangtod karon mao kini ang sugilanon nga gipakaylap sa mga Judio.
Nagpakita si Jesus sa Iyang mga Sumusunod

16Unya, miadto ang 11 ka tinun-an ni Jesus didto sa Galilea, sa bukid nga iyang giingon kanila. 17Sa pagkakita nila kaniya gisimba nila siya, apan ang uban nagduhaduha kon si Jesus ba gayod ang ilang nakita. 18Miduol si Jesus kanila ug miingon, “Gihatag kanako ang tanang gahom sa pagdumala sa langit ug sa yuta. 19Busa adtoi ninyo ang mga katawhan sa tanan nga dapit. Ug himoa ninyo sila nga akong mga tinun-an. Bautismohi ninyo sila sa ngalan sa Amahan, sa Anak, ug sa Espiritu Santo. 20Tudloi ninyo sila sa pagtuman sa tanan nga akong gisugo kaninyo. Hinumdomi ninyo nga kauban ninyo ako kanunay hangtod sa kataposan sa kalibotan.”
Jesus Rises From the Dead
1The Sabbath day was now over. It was dawn on the first day of the week. Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.
2There was a powerful earthquake. An angel of the Lord came down from heaven. The angel went to the tomb. He rolled back the stone and sat on it. 3His body shone like lightning. His clothes were as white as snow. 4The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.
5The angel said to the women, “Don’t be afraid. I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6He is not here! He has risen, just as he said he would! Come and see the place where he was lying. 7Go quickly! Tell his disciples, ‘He has risen from the dead. He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”
8So the women hurried away from the tomb. They were afraid, but they were filled with joy. They ran to tell the disciples. 9Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings!” he said. They came to him, took hold of his feet and worshiped him. 10Then Jesus said to them, “Don’t be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee. There they will see me.”
The Guards Report to the Chief Priests
11While the women were on their way, some of the guards went into the city. They reported to the chief priests all that had happened. 12When the chief priests met with the elders, they came up with a plan. They gave the soldiers a large amount of money. 13They told the soldiers, “We want you to say, ‘His disciples came during the night. They stole his body while we were sleeping.’ 14If the governor hears this report, we will pay him off. That will keep you out of trouble.” 15So the soldiers took the money and did as they were told. This story has spread all around among the Jews to this day.
Jesus’ Final Orders to His Disciples
16Then the 11 disciples went to Galilee. They went to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17When they saw him, they worshiped him. But some still had their doubts. 18Then Jesus came to them. He said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19So you must go and make disciples of all nations. Baptize them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. 20Teach them to obey everything I have commanded you. And you can be sure that I am always with you, to the very end.”
