Ang Umaabot nga Kalaglagan sa Jerusalem
1“Tawo, pagkuhag hait nga espada ug gamita kini nga pangkiskis sa imo nga ulo ug bangas. Unya timbanga ang imo nga buhok ug bangas aron bahinon kini sa tulo ka bahin. 2Ibutang ang usa ka bahin sa tisa nga gikulitan mo sa Jerusalem, ug sunoga kini diha sa taliwala sa siyudad human mo mapakita ang pagsulong niini. Ibutang ang usa pa ka bahin sa palibot sa siyudad ug tigbas-tigbasa kini sa imo nga espada. Ang nahibilin nga bahin isabwag sa kahanginan, kay katagon ko ang akong katawhan pinaagi sa espada. 3Apan pagbilin ug diotayng buhok ug ihikot kini sa imo nga bisti. 4Kuhai kini ug pipila ka buhok ug ilabay sa kalayo aron masunog. Gikan niini mokaylap ang kalayo ug mosunog sa tibuok Israel.
5“Ako, ang Ginoo nga Dios, nagaingon nga mao kini ang dangatan sa Jerusalem, ang siyudad nga gihimo kong labing mahinungdanong dapit sa kalibotan. 6Apan gilapas niya ang akong mga sugo, ug mas labaw pa siya kadaotan kaysa uban nga mga nasod sa iyang palibot. Gisalikway niya ang akong mga sugo ug mga tulumanon. 7Busa ang Ginoo nga Dios, nagaingon: mas daotan pa kamo kaysa uban nga mga nasod sa inyong palibot. Wala ninyo tumana ang akong mga sugo ug mga tulumanon. Ug wala gani ninyo tumana5:7 wala gani ninyo tumana: Mao kini sa kadaghanan nga mga kopya sa Hebreo. Apan sa uban nga mga kopya niini ug sa Syriac, gituman ninyo. Tan-awa usab sa 11:12. ang mga tulumanon sa mga nasod sa inyong palibot. 8Busa ang Ginoo nga Dios, mikontra kaninyo. Silotan ko kamo sa paagi nga makita sa mga nasod. 9Tungod sa inyong mangil-ad nga mga buhat, himuon ko kaninyo ang wala ko pa sukad mahimo ug ang dili ko na himuon pa pag-usab. 10Kaonon sa mga ginikanan ang ilang mga anak, ug kaonon sa mga anak ang ilang mga ginikanan. Silotan ko gyud kamo, ug ang mga mahibilin kaninyo katagon ko sa tibuok kalibotan. 11Ako, ang buhi nga Ginoo nga Dios, nanumpa nga laglagon ko kamo sa walay kalooy tungod kay gihugaw-hugawan ninyo ang akong templo pinaagi sa pagsimba sa mga dios-dios ug sa paghimo sa mangil-ad nga mga buhat. 12Bahinon ko kamo sa tulo ka bahin. Ang unang bahin mangamatay diha sa siyudad pinaagi sa kagutom ug mga sakit. Ang ikaduhang bahin mangamatay sa gawas sa siyudad pinaagi sa espada. Ug ang ikatulong bahin katagon ko sa tibuok kalibotan ug padayon ko silang lisod-lisoron.5:12 padayon ko silang lisod-lisoron: sa literal, gukdon ko sila sa espada o, paantuson.
13“Kon mahitabo na kini, mahuwasan na ako sa akong labihan nga kasuko kaninyo, ug makabalos na ako. Kon mapatagamtam ko na kaninyo ang akong kapungot, mahibaloan ninyo nga ako, ang Ginoo, nakigsulti kaninyo pinaagi sa akong labihang pagbati kaninyo. 14Gub-on ko ang inyong siyudad ug pakaulawan ko kamo sa mga nasod sa inyong palibot ug sa mga lumalabay. 15Tamayon, bugalbugalan, ug kangilngigan kamo sa mga nasod sa inyong palibot. Mahimo kamo nga pahimangno alang kanila sa higayon nga silotan ko kamo sa akong labihang kasuko. Ako, ang Ginoo, ang nagaingon niini. 16Padad-an ko kamo ug kagutom nga daw pana nga molaglag kaninyo. Magkagrabe nga magkagrabe ang kagutom hangtod nga wala na gyud kamoy makaon. 17Gawas sa kagutom, padad-an ko usab kamo ug mabangis nga mga mananap ug pamatyon nila ang inyong mga anak. Mangamatay usab kamo sa mga balatian ug sa gubat. Ako, ang Ginoo, ang nagaingon niini.”
1And thou, son of man, take thee a sharp knife, take thee a barber’s razor, and cause it to pass upon thine head and upon thy beard: then take thee balances to weigh, and divide the hair. 2Thou shalt burn with fire a third part in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and thou shalt take a third part, and smite about it with a knife: and a third part thou shalt scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them. 3Thou shalt also take thereof a few in number, and bind them in thy skirts.5.3 skirts: Heb. wings 4Then take of them again, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire; for thereof shall a fire come forth into all the house of Israel.
5¶ Thus saith the Lord GOD; This is Jerusalem: I have set it in the midst of the nations and countries that are round about her. 6And she hath changed my judgments into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries that are round about her: for they have refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them. 7Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye multiplied more than the nations that are round about you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations that are round about you; 8Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations. 9And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations. 10Therefore the fathers shall eat the sons in the midst of thee, and the sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments in thee, and the whole remnant of thee will I scatter into all the winds. 11Wherefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD; Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish thee; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.
12¶ A third part of thee shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of thee: and a third part shall fall by the sword round about thee; and I will scatter a third part into all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them. 13Thus shall mine anger be accomplished, and I will cause my fury to rest upon them, and I will be comforted: and they shall know that I the LORD have spoken it in my zeal, when I have accomplished my fury in them. 14Moreover I will make thee waste, and a reproach among the nations that are round about thee, in the sight of all that pass by. 15So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment unto the nations that are round about thee, when I shall execute judgments in thee in anger and in fury and in furious rebukes. I the LORD have spoken it. 16When I shall send upon them the evil arrows of famine, which shall be for their destruction, and which I will send to destroy you: and I will increase the famine upon you, and will break your staff of bread: 17So will I send upon you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave thee; and pestilence and blood shall pass through thee; and I will bring the sword upon thee. I the LORD have spoken it.
