David

God promised that members of David's family would rule a kingdom that lasts forever.
Jesus was born from the family of David. He is the "Son of David" who will rule God's kingdom forever.
Day of the Lord
a phrase used in the Bible for the time in the future when God will make his creation whole again and destroy evil.
demon
a powerful evil spirit that works for Satan. Demons can sometimes control people. But Jesus has power over demons. He can make them come out of people.
disciple
someone who believes and does what his or her leader teaches. Jesus had twelve disciples to be his "learners." Today, anyone who follows Jesus is his disciple.
