Scripture Ministry
Prison Ministry
Jesus said, "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me." Matthew 25:35-36 (TNIV)
Every day Biblica receives letters and requests for Bibles from men and women who represent more than 2 million inmates currently incarcerated in U.S. prisons and correctional facilities. These men and women need to hear of the freedom and hope found in Jesus Christ.
Biblica works with prison chaplains and volunteers to provide Bibles, New Testaments, and Scripture-based booklets to reach 20,000 inmates. Scriptures include Free on the Inside Bibles and New Testaments, The 4th Man booklet (English and Spanish), and our special Prisoners of Hope booklet for female inmates.
As the prison population continues to grow, Biblica's response to those who write, asking for the hope in Scripture, will also continue to grow.
Your gift can help bring the message of freedom and hope of renewed life in Jesus Christ through His Word to inmates throughout the U.S.
