Help and Frequently Asked Questions (F. A. Q.s)
I don't receive a the confirmation e-mail when subscribing. What do I do?
Answer: Please add 'dailymanna@us.ibs-stl.org' and 'dailymanna@biblica.com' to your safe list, check your spam filter and try again. Double check your e-mail address to make sure it is correct.
If you do not receive the confirmation e-mail after a second attempt we are not able to send e-mail to that address. This may be caused by filtering from your anti-spam software or from your ISP (email hosting company).
Please use our RSS feeds instead or subscribe by email via our Google Feedburner e-mail service.
I'm trying to unsubscribe but forgot what e-mail is subscribed. What do I do?
Answer: Located on the BOTTOM bottom of each Daily Manna from the 'Net is the e-mail address and name of the subscriber. Located near that is 'Click to Unsubscribe'.
If this unsubscribe process does not work for any reason, please contact us directly at DailyManna@usa.ibs.org.
How do I contact the list manager?
Answer: To contact the e-mail list manager, please send an email to DailyManna@usa.ibs.org. For subscription problems, we try to respond within 24 hours during the work week to your e-mail (weekend e-mail requests may take longer).
Why is this a two-step process?
Answer: We provide a level of security that prevents someone from subscribing or unsubscribing your e-mail address without your expressed authorization (called DOUBLE OPT-IN). It also verifies that the e-mail address provided is valid and that you can receive the daily e-mail. This is a daily service, so we wish to ensure that your request is authorized by only you and that the e-mail address provided is working.
My e-mail address is changing. How can I continue to received Daily Manna from the 'Net?
Answer: Simply click on the 'modify my preferences' link located on the top and bottom of each e-mail. You will then be directed to the profile management page where you can modify your e-mail address, name, and versions. You will also receive a confirmation e-mail when you make changes to your e-mail address.
Can I subscribe a friend who might be interested in receiving this e-mail service?
Answer: No. By policy, only owners of an e-mail address may confirm a subscription. Again, this is to prevent unauthorized use of your e-mail address. Please e-mail you friend and tell them of this service. The URL is http://www.biblica.com/dm
Why don't I always get my daily e-mail?
Answer: We send out your requested e-mail every day; however, it appears that some e-mail providers may introduce anti-spam measures that may inadvertently block the daily e-mail from being received. It is an ongoing issue that we are aware of, and we are working with various e-mail providers to lessen this problem.
Who does the audio portion?
Answer: The audio is provided by Max McLean. Monday through Friday, Max McLean's "Listen to the Bible" one-minute radio program is synchronized with Daily Manna from the 'Net (NIV).
Max McLean's "Listen to the Bible, It's Great for the Soul" radio program can be heard on more than 650 radio affiliates across the U.S. and around the world.
