Prayer Theme: Asia

February 1-7

I will proclaim the name of the LORD. Oh, praise the greatness of our God! Deuteronomy 32:3

  • Praise God for His grace in guiding our ministry throughout Asia to proclaim the gospel and share God's Word.
  • Pray for the health, strength, and wisdom of our translators in Asia.
  • Pray God would ignite people's hearts to support Bible translation in Asia.
  • Pray the truth of God's Word exposes the flaws of false religions and brings many Asians to true faith in Christ.

February 8-14

Pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ. Colossians 4:2-3

  • Pray the Thai NIV Study Bible will be completed and distributed widely this year.
  • Pray for Thailand's Reach 4 Life biblical HIV/AIDS prevention program to expand to more schools.
  • Pray for more volunteers and donors to reach Thai children saturated by a sexualized culture.
  • Pray for staff and volunteers for Biblica Southeast Asia's translation of the Laos Bible

February 15-21

No one is like you, O LORD; you are great, and your name is mighty in power. Jeremiah 10:6

  • Praise God for sales of Biblica India's Bibles and other Christian resources!
  • Pray for the Hindi Study Bible’s release and adoption, that many people would find Jesus through this Bible translation.
  • Pray for the Indian Sinhala Bible to be completed soon, and for a major sale to be successful. Proceeds would help fund translations in Bengali, Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu.
  • Pray for our outreach to the Indians in the Persian Gulf. Pray God would lead us to the right people and churches to partner in ministry with them.

February 22-28

We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. Colossians 1:28

  • Pray for Children for Christ ministry in the Philippines, especially for safety and provision in the Muslim-dominated region of Mindanao.
  • Pray for the Philippine Cebuano and Tagalog Bible translations to be widely used to bring many to Christ and help in discipleship.
  • Pray for Biblica East Asia’s financial needs and fundraising opportunities.
  • Pray for Biblica East Asia’s publishing programs and distribution to be used mightily by God to reach people for Jesus Christ.
  • Praise God for believers in Indonesia who are sharing their faith through the Children for Christ program.
