Biblica Core Values

We believe that Biblica should be guided by biblical core values that serve as the measuring standard for the work we do, the people we serve and the mission we strive to accomplish. These values also serve as a reflection of the commitment we have to all of the standards set forth in God's Word.

We value God's Word

We believe God's Word to be our ultimate authority. In order to accomplish our mission, we must adhere to the principles and truth it reveals.

I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches. I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways. I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your word. Psalm 119:14-16

We value people

We strive to serve and love others, believing that mutual interdependence, respect and the combining of our gifts are essential to the fulfillment of our mission.

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. Philippians 2:3

We value integrity

In all our dealings, we will follow the highest ethical standards to ensure our stewardship of the resources entrusted to us. We are responsible before God, one another and all people for our programs, relationships, personal lifestyles and expenditures of time and money.

In my integrity you uphold me and set me in your presence forever. Psalm 41:12

We value excellence

We work to do God's will, by His power, with all our heart and to the best of our ability.

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossian 3:17

We value learning

We strive to continually grow in wisdom and knowledge to ensure that our work is always relevant and effective in bringing people into relationship with God.

Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show it by his good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. James 3:13
