Position Title: Global Technology Officer

The Global Technology Officer (GTO) will play a key strategic role for Biblica in reaching the world with God’s Word through mobile phone and other innovative electronic media initiatives. The GTO’s role is to align technology vision with ministry opportunities by integrating multiple language Bible translations with appropriate delivery technologies around the world. The GTO will be responsible to work with Biblica’s Global staff to develop and implement outward facing technology initiatives for the organization. He/she will lead strategic technology plans to achieve ministry goals and collaborate with departments to develop and maintain a technology plan that supports the organizational needs.
The ideal candidate will have 10 years progressive experience managing and/or directing technology related disciplines; 5 years’ work experience developing externally focused content delivery solutions in the mobile phone/ electronic media category; and 5 years’ experience working in a global technology environment with culturally diverse stakeholders. He/she must have a degree in the field of computer science or comparable demonstrated experience. He/she must have excellent knowledge of technology environments, including telecommunications, networks, programming, and media delivery with a solid understanding of computer systems characteristics.

Position Title: Director of Communication
Reports to: President, Global Resource Development & Communication

The Director of Communication is responsible for developing a world-class communication plan for Biblica. This is a hands-on manager directly responsible for developing and implementing plans to enhance the positive image, reputation, and awareness for Biblica using all venues of communication as a tool. Goals are to increase awareness, build reputation of Biblica in media, and use all media to gain momentum for the ministry. The Director of Communication also handles internal communication items as needed. He/she directs reporting management of global programs and information from the worldwide offices in a timely, accurate and appropriate manner. The candidate will audit the information provided versus budgets and plans in detail. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Communications or related field and ten plus years’ experience in the area of communication, public relations and/or media relations. He/she must have proven experience in written and verbal communications for awareness purpose, building awareness, and Christian media relations. The candidate must have strong public relations and supervisory skills.
